I turned, and a black saber appeared in my hand, and I swung it toward the red spear coming toward me.

CLANNNG!

Our weapons clashed, creating a ma.s.sive shockwave that destroyed the trees around us and turned the stones into smithers, but the lake remained unharmed.

A surprise appeared in front of the woman, but she quickly controlled her expression.

"You knew I was hiding there," she said to that shrugged. "It wasn't hard, your stealth method is s.h.i.+t," I replied, and the sparks of anger flew in her eyes.

The woman in front of me is a stone skin, with pale red marble sin.

She looked to be in her early thirties and had beautiful facial features. She was also in the compound; one of the people, who was checking every person coming and going.

"Give me the flower and I will leave. If you resist, cripple you and leave you for monsters to eat," she threatened with killing intent, radiating with every word she spoke.

I knew she meant every word, and it made me laugh.

"It is a good threat. Unfortunately, you do not have the strength to back it up," I replied. The anger returned, and this time, it didn't go back.

"I will show you how good I am with threats when I do what I said," she said angrily, and her spear turned red like molten metal and came at me.

There is immense heat beginning to emanate from it. Powerful enough that it begins to melt everything around us.

It begins to affect me even more. My armor begins to use considerable power to defend against it.

Our weapons clashed again and, as they did, the head of all spears concentrated on the single point and came at me.

It destroyed all the defenses on my sword and struck my armor, making my eyes go wide.

I am surprised, not only by the power of it, but also by the uniqueness of the attack. I had already decided that I was going to steal it, and a couple of ideas had already formed in my mind.

"Good, but you will need to do better to actualize your threat," I taunted.

My armor absorbed it and made the powerful heat energy spread through my armor. Then the thousand formations activated and destroyed the power, leaving only the raw energy.

"I will kill you!" she roared and attacked again, with her spear blazing even more brightly than before.

My saber clashed against her spear fast. We are clas.h.i.+ng tens of times every second.

There is no talking. All the talk we did, we did through our actions and eyes.

She wants to kill me and now is not just about the flower anymore. Now, she wants to kill me for the disrespect and taunting.

Though she would gladly take the lily as a trophy, along with everything else she would find inside me.

I am fine with it. I want her to use everything she has because she didn't have much time. Not even a minute.

She is as strong as me, but she had gained that strength here, seeing the way she is fighting with limited strength.

She was likely close to it when she entered this realm and bridged the gap after entering it. It is likely, that she had achieved that in the mist.

She had got quite close to the flag, before retreating. Which is wise, because it would have been terrible. If she had taken a few steps, further into it.

I know about it because she had my seed inside her when she entered the mist.

It wasn't able to record what, she had a saw in the mist, but it was able to record the effects it had on her body. Which is enough for me to concur with what happened.

Seconds pa.s.sed, and we kept fighting.

Her killing intent is increasing with every attack. She had fused that in her attacks, which not all could do.

It requires sufficient mastery of it.

I could do it, but its less because of my mastery and more because of my familiarity with the killing rule. It made me understand the killing intensely better than most people

Still, I didn't use the killing intent in my attacks.

It's a double-edged sword, it gives one boost, but also affects one deeply. If one is not careful, they could get swept in it like the woman has.

It is getting worse, the more, she is using it.

It is making her loose and rational, with her mind only focusing on killing me.

Such focus increases one's strength. Refined one's combat ability, but it takes control, it is why many people don't do it, but some like her prefer it.

"So, why are you looking for me?" I asked, but there was no answer.

Instead, the killing intent came back, but this time, she was in control, and she still wanted to

kill me.
