The Universe Conspired For Us To Meet 134 Crazy Girl!

Very soon the car sped away.

Virat slowed down trying to catch his breath after the couple left.

Later, he asked an employee who was pa.s.sing by, "Isn't that Mr Ronnie Roy? Who is he carrying in his arms?"

"Yes, you are right and that's his wife, also the current boss of the company." The employee answered.

"Oh! Looks like Mr Roy is a very doting husband?" Virat asked.

"Very much! They're newly married and Sir is very protective of his wife." The employee answered.

Little did Virat know that he could've been that doting husband carrying his Maya like that.

By the time they came back to the old mansion, Jayne was feeling better. In fact, she was fine long time ago, the very moment she saw her husband.

Everybody were already in the drawing room. Seeing Jayne's pale face, Maya's mom walked over to her hurriedly. "Beta, what's wrong? Are you alright?"

The other elders were also instantly worried. "I'm fine mom, dad. Don't you guys worry. I'm just hungry." Jayne answered.

Jayne's mom ran to the kitchen and came back with food and immediately started feeding her some food.

All this while Ronnie was silent. He finally spoke up. "Can anybody tell me why is Jayne at the company?"

Though he was very calm at the outside, there was a volcano waiting to erupt out of him any moment. Probably this was the first ever time Ronnie was this frustrated too.

Jayne answered for her in-laws. "Ron, please don't be angry. It's me who offered to take over the company," and then she explained all the sequence of incidents.

Ronnie felt happy on hearing it. 'It's obvious she'll do great! She's after all a topper of her university in Business Administration.' He thought inwardly.

He remembered her Dean's words, "Sir, that child would always tell me that she'd start a company in the future employing only women in her company to let them earn and empower themselves."

A streak of light pa.s.sed through Ronnie's eye. "It's fine Jayne. But you'll have to be more careful henceforth." Ronnie said.

He continued, "I'll tighten your security. I'll also make sure to have very less male employees and have more of female employees."

Jayne excitedly said, "You read my mind hubby. That's what I thought so too. But I didn't know how to tell you." She pursed her lips.

Ronnie lovingly patted his wife's head, "Why do you have to even ask me Jayne? It's your company. It's completely your right to take any decision you want to. n.o.body will oppose any decision of yours."

"See, didn't I tell you that your husband will never so no to you?" Mrs Caroline Roy came forward and kissed Jayne's forehead.

"Yes mom you are right!" Jayne giggled.

Just then the landline of the Roy residence rang. Ronnie received the call. "Oh I totally forgot about it Dan…. Cancel it for me….. I don't think we'd be able to go….Jayne is unwell. She needs to rest." Ronnie said to Daniel West who on the other end.

After hanging up Jayne asked him, "What's wrong Ron? I'm fine now. You can carry on with your work. You don't have to worry about me. Plus see for yourself, I've two moms and two dads who pamper me to all levels." She grinned looking at her parents and in-laws.

Ronnie answered her, "No, it's not work Jayne. It's a celebratory event British Indian a.s.sociation. I was invited as the Chief guest for their party. It's called "Indian Nights." Some popular Indian singers would be coming. It's also an event where you get to meet the Indian diaspora currently staying in Britain." Ronnie briefly summed up the details.

Everybody's interest suddenly piqued. Jayne was the first to speak, "Call up Daniel and ask him not to cancel the event. Let's go baby. All of us...."

Mr Richard Roy spoke, "Yes Ron! Plus the Bhats will also get to meet the Indians staying here.

"When all of you are insisting, then you've exactly thirty minutes to get ready." Ronnie looked at his watch and informed everyone.

The ladies of the house vanished within a jiffy while the men stayed along. Ronnie informed Daniel West to pick them and that everybody would be going to the event.

"Virat, please let's go to this event. We've been very busy with work off late. Our company was generous enough to give away these party pa.s.ses to us to 'Indian Nights'. At least meeting our people here would make us feel better." Sanvi kept persuading Virat to go.

"Sanvi, I'm not interested in this event. You know it reminds me of Maya and her singing. I don't want to go." Virat protested.

"Please Virat. Just this one time for me?" Sanvi looked at him with puppy eyes.

Virat slapped her forehead and smiled. "Okay! Go get ready soon!"

"Thanks Virat!" Sanvi gave a peck on his cheeks before leaving.

Virat was surprised by the sudden peck. He shook his head and smiled, 'Crazy girl!'
