Dream Star 193 Helpless Drunk

July 26th, 2035 (London, Lila and Haruka's apartment)

During the journey back to their apartment, Lila was acting like a spoilt child. She kept asking him for kisses, pats, and hugs. She never waited for a response for any of these and started every action herself. His guard simply laughed the whole journey. When they finally got back, Haruka wasted no time before taking her upstairs. Lila was still kissing his neck and leaving markings.

"Nngh.."

Haruka pulled her away and laid her down on the bed. The moment he did though, Lila cried, "Do you hate me now Haruka?"

Hey, he only wants to get changed. Won't it be bad if Lila catches Sophia scent on him? Thinking about Jae-hee's words, Haruka sighed.

"Haruka, cuddle!"

He walked back over onto the bed and wrapped his arms around the girl. Lila laughed happily.

She's such a helpless drunk. This is worse than last time. Now Haruka understood why her enemies try to drug her; she's so weak in this state. She probably isn't even aware of her surroundings.

"Haruka.." Lila murmured.

Hearing her call his name, he turned to her. "Hm?"

"Kiss ~," Lila asked.

He lightly kisses her lips but her cheeks puffed up into a pout, "I want the other kiss."

Other kisses? He raises his eyebrows in amus.e.m.e.nt.

"What other kisses?" Haruka said.

Lila thought for a moment, "The one that makes me dizzy because of happiness."

Haruka stared at her, eyes wide. He didn't know what to say. How is he meant to reply to that comment? Or rather, that's what she thinks of his kisses, huh? Maybe he can get more stories out of her now that she's drunk. It's worth a try.
He gently pushed her down onto the bed.

"Ari, let me ask you some questions."

"Kay! Ask away." Lila chirped.

He chuckled, so helpless. "Do you love me?"

Lila's cheeks turned rosy red, and her demeanor became shy, "Ah-huh, I love you Haruka. But I'm not supposed to say this.."

"Why?" he questioned.

"Because the words I love you is for Kiryu."

Haruka paused; he looked up from her stomach. So she reserved those words for Austin Kiryu? But when she's drunk, she's able to tell him? Then again, people do say a drunk person is more honest with their feelings.

"Aha." Lila suddenly laughed.

".. What?" Haruka mumbled.

"Haruka, Haruka. It's Haruka."

Why does she look so happy at him? She really is an oddball. Haruka felt the girl tug on his clothes, "Take it off Haruka." Lila said.

"Why?"

"I want you," Lila said with flushed cheeks.

He stared speechless utterly speechless. Is Lila crazy? Does she want him to attack her that badly? Haruka examined her expression, really questioned her.

...

"Last question, who was with you in that light?"

Haruka expected her to answer right away like she did all the previous times. However, it wasn't like that. The girl suddenly turned quiet, and she lifted the covers, "Goodnight."

… Haruka frowned, she isn't telling him? She has no reason to hide it from him. Unless it was Austin Kiryu?

"Was it him? Tell me."

"..."

Seeing the girl's sudden tears, he gently wiped them away, "Don't cry, I won't get angry. Just tell me. I don't want there to be secrets between us.."

"Kiryu.."

So it was him. "Don't hide. I'm not mad." Haruka mumbled. He was slightly irritated. But there's nothing he can do about it. After all, he already long accepted it. Those two will always be connected no matter what.

"Haruka, don't be angry... I like you so much."

His gaze softened, she's even more of a crybaby when she's drunk.

Following morning.

Ah…?

Lila thinks to herself what happened for a few minutes; cheeks burned red. What—what did she? Images from last night appeared in her head. How embarra.s.sing. What was she doing? But, 'I love you..' Thump... She told him, even though she wasn't supposed too. Her thoughts broke off when the doors opened, revealing Haruka. He nodded in acknowledgment seeing her awake and made his way over.

She averted her gaze from him, and Haruka placed the tray on the bedside table.

He brushed her forehead against hers, "Good, you're not warm anymore."

".. H—Haruka, g—good morning." she stammered.

Haruka smiled, "Yeah."

Is he not going to tease her? Lila carefully watched him for a few minutes before she buried her face in his back. Haruka had turned back to the food on the tray after checking her temperature. "What's wrong?"

"Yesterday, um, don't forget it. But don't think about it too much."

Haruka nodded, "Well, I understand. You're cute when you're drunk."

"L—liar, weren't you mumbling how helpless I am?"

"So, you remember at least?"

Lila shyly nodded, and Haruka turned around and cupped her cheeks, "If you forget, I will get mad. Do you have any idea, what I was thinking then?"

"Um.."

"I wanted to take advantage of the moment like I did last time.."

Of course, he would. But, he didn't? Lila looked at him puzzled, and Haruka sighed. "Well, for one your legs. Two, you must be worn out. Three, while you're cute and helpless when you're drunk. I prefer you to be conscious when I touch you."

Lila thought about his words for a moment before asking. "Is the third reason the main one?" She noticed that his tone was slightly different when he said those words.

"Up to you," Haruka said with an indifferent expression on his face. Despite this cold reply, Lila understood.

Lila tugged on his s.h.i.+rt, "Can I ask for a morning kiss Haruka?"

"Are you still drunk?" Haruka asked.

She shook her head and shyly said, "Do I have to be drunk to ask for kisses?"

"Maybe it would be better…" Haruka murmured before he pushed her back down on to the bed, his lips met hers. There is something else she wanted to ask him. Her memories of yesterday were somewhat blurred. However, Lila recalled it when he held her, the faint scent of a woman's perfume and marks on his body that she didn't make.
