'Geez, his wife is too hard-working.' His gaze softened when Lila clung to him tightly, "Wife, you don't want to do anything?"

"I do," Lila nodded. "I was thinking, should I start with your lips or another place?"

Haruka laughed, really she's amazing.

A satisfied hum pa.s.ses his lips when he felt the girl kissing him. Were they making out? She's the one who initiated it too.

He swallowed a groan at the mere thought. Haruka's hands ran down her thighs as she continued to kiss him. A small shudder pa.s.sed Lila's spine, and his lips curve to a smirk. Did she think she could have the upper hand?

Lila sighed into the kiss. It didn't take long before those sighs turned into small, breathy moans.

It still surprises him that Lila turned out like this. While he knew she wasn't completely innocent. The girl's desires are something even he can't comprehend at times. Haruka continued letting Lila take the lead and kissing him. Her kisses became more and more pa.s.sionate as the minute went by.

Haruka was slowly going crazy, he was focused on the pleasure she gave him just through kisses. Her hands ran through his hair. Once in a while, this isn't too bad, allowing his wife to do things to him.

Haruka told her there was no need for her to fetch their belongings. But Lila insisted that she would get everything. She didn't have to get them herself, but apparently, he wouldn't know what to get. So he remained in the hospital. He asked Myou to come with her. Eita moved Lila into a private floor. Coincidentally, no other patients we're on here so they could both relax.

He wondered what his old sensei would say if he were still around. Would he reprimand him for getting too involved, too attached despite being someone completely different? Would he get lectured? Heh, yeah, that's for sure. He would get shouted at for sure. After all, even now, it truly doesn't change anything.

But if that guy were still around, he would also say those words, ' Even if we are bound with old rules and tradition. It doesn't mean you can't think for yourself. Boy, you can make your own decision.'

Back then, Haruka didn't understand the deep meaning of those words, that wasn't until he met her, and everything changed. Everything changed in his life, and that's why he really doesn't have any intention of letting her go. Even now, even when there are so many people around who can take her away from him.

Haruka understood that it would be difficult to patch up their friends.h.i.+p. But, he actually wanted to try. For some reason, whenever he saw Kiryu these days, Haruka had this desire to help him. This is more complicated than he thought it would be. Haruka still didn't understand Zane's stance was on everything.

"Haruka? You there? Maybe your fooling around," the voice on the other end said amusingly.

"Yeah, I got it. Ha? What like I'd be fooling around at a time like this. If that's really how it is, you ought to tighten up your security," Haruka mumbled. He raked his hands through his hair. Honestly, he still felt a bit worked up after the kiss from earlier. Lila leaving him like that, so suddenly irritated him. That girl, she's the one who started it but then left so suddenly.

After hearing a m.u.f.fled respond, he sighs, " Don't get yourself sick over it. She already knows I'm sure. Yeah, I got it. I'll contact you tomorrow. "

As he said those words and closed his phone. Haruka noted his wife at the entrance. "Ah, I found you, hubby."

Yet, Haruka wasn't focussing on the girl's speech. But his gaze was solely on the dress that seemed to hug tightly against the girl's body. "Was it raining?"

"Mm? Yeah."

Huh, so that explains why she looks more alluring than usual. Lila made her way over and proceeded to drag him up until he slid his hand around the girl's waist, "Wife," he said the girl's name softly.

Lila understood and sighed, "So needy. I'm sick, you know?"

"Yeah. But you're so beautiful."

Lila placed her fingers between his lips, "I don't dislike compliments from you once in a while. I rather like it."

Haruka lit a cigarette and sat on the edge of the bed half-clothed. Whereas the girl was already changing into new clothing. He would honestly like to have stayed cuddled up with her in bed longer, but he also knew he couldn't monopolize her to himself during this time period.

"Ah, it's snowing," Lila exclaimed.

Haruka turned to the window, indeed to see the skies filled with white. "So beautiful.."

'You're more beautiful.'

Haruka stood up and made his way over and pulled the girl into his arms, brus.h.i.+ng their foreheads together, " Don't you have a cold?" he murmurs. The girl's forehead was icy cold.

"Just a little."

Haruka frowned and scooped her up in his arms. "Don't stay so close to the window."

Lila laughed, "You know I'm okay."

"I don't believe that," Haruka placed her gently down onto the bed. He wrapped the duvet over her and frowned. "This is too thin. I'll get another one for you."

What are they doing giving their patients this thin layer blanket in winter? Even if the hospital has a heating system, it's still cold. Lila kept laughing as he frets about what else she would need.

"Hubby, are you going to redecorate this room? I'm only staying for a week."

"Being hospitalized for a week isn't fun," Haruka scanned the room. "I'll make it nice here, so you're comfortable." He should get somebody to change the wallpaper when she is having her tests. This hospital bed is too uncomfortable, even if it is the VIP ward.

"Hubby, even if I'm here. Make sure you go to work."

Haruka looked at the girl with a frustrated expression. What is she thinking? How could he leave her here and go to work? Well, for now, Haruka simply nodded.

"Hubby, hand."

He strolled back over, and Lila brought his hand to her face. Haruka is speechless at this sudden action. Lila was holding onto his hands so tightly... "My wife?"

"Holding you tight."

His gaze softened.

She's in love with him. Lila loves him; he doesn't have to worry and act paranoid as much as he does. Haruka noted, ever since they started dating, he found himself grew more anxious about her leaving his side. Even though he had such feelings before they weren't as strong. Is it because they're closer than ever before? Is that why his fears have increased?

Lila must have noticed his distress since she placed her hand on his face, "I love you so much, hubby, you have no idea, do you? We still have loads of things to deal with, but my love for you won't disappear anymore. I can't imagine myself standing by another man's side."

Even if that man is Kiryu? This girl, she's already his. But then, Haruka recalled Kiryu's pained expression. What about him? What will happen? The more Haruka thought about it, the more bothered he got. In the past, it didn't matter to him whether Austin Kiryu was hurt. After all, he had Lila by his side for so many years. He got to see the girl growing up. Haruka was bitter.

However, at some point, those bitter feelings turned into guilty feelings. Kiryu stayed by Lila's side for so long. Kiryu was there for Lila during her darkest and most painful memories. The two went through so much together.

His thoughts broke of when Lila's lips met his, "Hubby, pay attention to me please."

"Right," Haruka nodded and pulled his cute wife into his arms. "First, we cuddle."

Lila laughed, "Right."
