After Haruka left, the girl extended her hand out, and Rikka took the handkerchief. "This is mortifying for me, why am I crying in front of you?"

"It's only normal; n.o.body would like it if the one they love is flirting in front of them," the girl's demeanor changed completely. "I'm very sorry. I hesitated about this meeting too. When Haruka told me earlier that you're a nice person and not like those other girls. However, I wanted to confirm his words."

Rikka nodded, "His idea of a good person is questionable. Look how my cousin ended up, she became obsessed with him."

Haruka's idea of a good person always caused her problems. So many girls clung onto him like flies. It irritated her a great deal when she saw how Haruka dealt with those girls. "Not just my cousin, but so many other girls. A kiss means nothing? Don't make me laugh, even if it doesn't. Push them away from you. Why does he have so many girls' phone numbers on his phone?"

Just the mere thought of it irritated Rikka a great deal.

Lila laughed, "It's okay. I understand."

"Teras.h.i.+msan, you... don't mind it? While I admit he has changed, he still has bad habits that don't go away," Rikka mumbled. For the past three days, Rikka carefully observed him.

"Well, I can't say it doesn't bother me. But other than the main four mistresses, the other ones don't matter."

"You don't have to include me in that count.."

"Rikksan, you don't want to get back together with Haruka?"

Rikka sighed when she heard the girl's question. Of course, she would ask that. "I'll be honest with you since you seem to be smarter than I thought." At first, Rikka thought Teras.h.i.+ma Lila is a fool. However, talking to her now. She can see that isn't the case here. "That's what I intended by returning."

"Honestly, I'm a reasonable person. If you're in love, you're in love. I can't stop a person's feelings can tell your different from the other ones. If you were the same as the rest of them, then I wouldn't have this conversation with you."

A fair fight, this girl is she that confident? Or is this her chance? It seems like Teras.h.i.+msan is different from her cousins reports. A naive and foolish woman? Rikka picked up her drink that just arrived, and took a sip. "Can you honestly say Haruka hasn't cheated on you?"

It was a question she's wanted to ask since coming back here.

"The other day, some injured girl was clinging to him like a hawk…"

When Rikka left the toilets, she spotted bright brunette by the vending machines.

'So he came out for a smoke break.'

Hesitantly Rikka made her way over to him. Haruka smiled when he saw her, "Want one?"

"I have my own," Rikka took out her cigarettes from her bag. But realized that something was missing. Haruka reached over and lit it for her.

"You didn't fight with her, did you?"

"Do you think I'm that unreasonable?"

"No, I knew you'd be fine. I was worried Lila would start a fight with you. She can get possessive."

He seems so pleased with that. "You've really changed," Rikka mumbled. She almost didn't recognize him.

"So have you, your prettier now."

"Jerk," Rikka muttered.

"Hey...I was complimenting you."

"Your married now. Do you know how misleading that sounds?"

Haruka ran his hands through his hair. "Right, my bad."

This guy, he's as clueless as ever. How on earth does Teras.h.i.+msan stand him? "Your wife told me we should have a fair fight."

"Hey...now, what's with her? What happened to keeping me all to herself. Besides you…"

"I still like you."

"Right, you do…" Haruka looked troubled and sighed. "Well, I guess that's fine. Just don't shamelessly seduce me like the others. I have a hard time explaining why other females' scent is on me."

"That's because you push them away too late. When they are about to approach you, you should back away."

Haruka chuckled, "You don't change, huh, you're still as bossy as before," he reached over and patted her hair. "Thanks, I'll take note of that. I'll go back in, you?"

"I'll come back in a few minutes."

He nodded and walked away. The moment Haruka left, Rikka placed her hand on her hair. The scent and warmth of Haruka's hands still lingered there. It seems like she still likes him.

Rikka remained there for the next few minutes, before heading back. The sight she saw shocked her. Haruka had Teras.h.i.+ma Lila pinned against the couch, his lips on hers. Judging from the girl's loose clothing, clearly, the two weren't just making out.

"Nnngh...fuwash..Hubby, don't be stupid. What if Rikksan comes back."

"Your so considerate wife, but you attacked me earlier."

Rikka immediately hid behind the wall. Why is she hiding anyway? This seems stupid.

"Merry Christmas, Lila," Haruka gently whispered against the girl's lips.

"En! But it's eve today, say this tomorrow so it will be more romantic."

"Got it," he chuckled. "So, you'll let me carry on?"

"O—okay..dummy. Me too, can I do something.."

Rikka clenched her fist and walked away. It seems like she can't bear to watch this kind of sight. She thought she would be fine. Even if Haruka married his first love, he would still remain the same. The delusional one was her. She recalled how Sophia laughed when she said she was in a serious relations.h.i.+p with Haruka.

Her cousin had every right to laugh. It was ridiculous of her, thinking that Haruka is serious about her. To her surprise, she felt somebody grab her wrist. It was Haruka, judging from his appearance. He ran down to catch her. "I said I'd take you home."

Rikka pulled her hand back, "I can go back alone."

A deep sigh escaped his lips, "Don't be like this, please."

"Sorry, but I'm no saint."

Rikka felt awful on the way back home. She didn't think she would get that affected seeing Haruka with another woman. It never occurred to her that Teras.h.i.+ma Lila would be different. Why would such a thing cross her mind? Haruka acted so indifferently when it comes to women. While he was slightly kinder to her, he was still indifferent. That's fine for her because of how she saw relations.h.i.+ps. She didn't like possessive men.

Still, Rikka realized it far too late. Maybe a possessive man was better for her. A possessive man wouldn't her go so easily; she wouldn't have gotten dumped. It's too late to have such thoughts though.
