Dream Star 631 New Year Wishes Part 2

Star Town - Main Street -

Lila laughed, "Um, a surprise attack?"

"Don't let your desires for me leak out so much."

"I only wanted to kiss Haruka, you don't have to make it sound so strange."

Haruka looked troubled, "I thought we would spend new years together..."

"En, but, I didn't want to leave Kiryu alone on new years day," she trailed off and caressed Haruka's face. "We spoke about it on Christmas. But I want to do something for Kiryu. The thing is, from now on, we will spend many Christmas and new years together. However, this maybe the last time with Kiryu."

"Then, you don't need to throw a party, just celebrate it together with him."

Lila rolled her eyes when she hears his words. "Don't be so silly, I still want to spend it with you."

"Wife, you're so selfish..."

"Yes," she lightly traced his lips. "But, only for the last time. In a few months time we will leave and then we will mainly be abroad. We won't be in j.a.pan as often."

"Regret it?"

She shook her head, "The current me can't surpa.s.s mother. In order for me to get better, I need to see more of the world."

"Lila, don't make those sounds. I'll attack you."

"Nnngh, your fault stupid," she couldn't suppress her voice. Not with the way Haruka was kissing her neck. "Hubby..."

"The next three days, I'll spend it only with you. I'll bring you back to Kiryu's on the last day."

Lila nodded, "Mmmm, let's go home after the party."

"Wife, let me eat you up for a bit.."

So helpless, Lila nodded and Haruka continued his advances. Somehow, Haruka seems strange. Is he worried about that upcoming trip too? She suddenly felt a cold breeze against her chest, and raised her hand to hit Haruka. 'He's too much!' They are in an alleyway, even if it's dark - somebody could catch them. Haruka grabbed hold of her hands and kissed her fingertips.

"Stupid!"

Haruka laughed, "Isn't that great? Were both thinking the same thing."

Lila averted her gaze, "Stop making me love you more. We already have problems."

"What problems are you talking about wife? I don't see any."

"Aagh, lately I don't want to talk to you about this. You really don't understand."

"Relax, I do understand. Your feelings are different so your acting weird."

"...I know it's weird, being all nervous now of all times. But..."

"Not weird, I get it. Were still clumsy with this. But like you said we have plenty of time," Haruka gently kissed her lips. "I'll miss you wife."

'Then don't go,' Lila wanted to tell him but she knew better than to do so.

Everybody already arrived when she and Haruka returned. It felt strange watching everybody interact. Still, 'Haruka rushed of somewhere,' she recalled the ringtone on his phone and paused. A different ringtone, Haruka usually uses the same one... Hmmmm..

Lila silently stood aside as she placed the last batch of food down.

"But...Is it really okay for me to do it?" Lila asked.

This is a pretty important moment after all, just rus.h.i.+ng in to it didn't seem right at all.

"Don't worry about the small things. We won't start until you put it on," Wataru said.

Translates to, ' I'm really antic.i.p.ating it. So put it on."

"Oi, Lila. Hurry it up," Eijiro said.

Translates to ' I'm hungry'

"Place it on," Kotori said.

The only one who genuinely means that.

"Indeed only someone as beautiful as you can put it on," Ameno said.

Translates to, ' But my beauty is still superior'

"Ah? Isn't it supposed to be a fancy angel?"

Translates to, '....'

Eh wait. She can't think of anything for that one. Then again that's just Maaya acting all technical.

"These things take time and precession, we cannot rush her," Maika said.

Translates to, ' You must place it at exactly this amount of degrees and even so you must ensure that there's no crease.'

"Just put it on. It's like a harmonic function," s.h.i.+chiro commented.

Translates to, ' Its simple yet complex'

Jae-hee merely sighs, "Aren't you guys making the process longer? Lila, ignore the bafoons."

At that she merely chuckles, that's right... But, it's nice to see everybody getting along like this. Her old and new friends. Lila felt conflicted for a very long time. Now -- it's all good. They are all in the same place.

"Thank you everyone. Well, here it goes...".

Lila placed it on the tree.

"And lights!"

Shougo reached over and switches the lights on. Until the entire place was filled with lights, not just from the tree. But the ones from outside were visible through the window and on the rooftop. Her eyes went wide, Yumeko pats her shoulder. " All according to my careful calculation."

"In other words, it was actually a pain for her to get it on the top," Jae-hee translated.

"I don't want to hear it from the person who almost slipped," Maika commented.

"Now, now," Kotori said.

"Amazing! What is this? I haven't seen lights like these!" Shougo beamed.

He almost sounds like a kid. It's cute.

"I like new year," Oujiro mumbled.

Ah, thank goodness he's finally saying that.

"It's so beautiful."

Lila had to agree with him there. look at it forever...

Forever.....

Ah. Not again, she suddenly feels like crying.

Her thoughts broke of when she feels a familiar pair of arms hugging her from behind. Causing her eyes to widen, " Ssh".

"Kiryu? What are we doing outside?" Lila curiously asked.

Kiryu squeezed her hands, "Sorry, Haruka said he won't be coming back tonight."

Ah, Lila nodded. "Okay."

"Okay?"

"Well, he was acting strange earlier. So I already figured he would do the whole disappearing act on me."

"Lila.."

"It's okay, we can't always be together. I've acknowledged that already. Besides," she turned to him with a bright smile. "I threw this party for you, so Haruka probably feels awkward."

Awkward? She doubts it. Haruka seems rather accepting lately. But still, she knew better than to tell Kiryu that. Kiryu won't understand it, the things between Haruka and her.
