Dream Star 766 Our Family

When Haruka realized how much fun his wife was having, he made his mind up. 'I can do some extra work later to make up for the loss time. I can't bare to leave her right now.'

Whether Lila knew of his decision or not, she quickly took advantage of it.

"You know, aren't you eating too much?" Haruka questioned.

After they ate the food from the stalls, Lila suggested they go to a restaurant. He didn't have the heart to refuse her cute face. 

"But it's meat hubby! High quality meat."

"Honestly." Haruka brushed his fingers across her lips. "I don't want you to get sick."

Lila laughed. "Um okay, then feed me so I don't overeat."

'It's a bit too late. Since they arrived thirty minutes ago, Lila kept eating. Well, feeding her doesn't sound like a bad idea.'

Haruka picked up the chopsticks and picked at the meat. He extended it towards her and Lila happily ate it.

His gaze softened when he saw her bright eyes. When was the last time they spent a peaceful moment like this eating? 

Since Rikka came here, so much drama has happened. Haruka sighed when he recalled what happened recently. Maybe it's like what Lila said. 'I should stay away from her.'

Haruka wanted to avoid that scenario for a long time. But when he thought about how Lila and him haven't had a simple peaceful meal in so long.

'Stay away. It maybe better. I will see how it goes first.'

If staying away doesn't help, he will resort to more drastic measures.

"So hey my wife, is this a date?"

Lila nodded. "Mmm, it's a date."

He chuckled and bent down to kiss her lips. "I like dates."

"Hubby likes dates?" Lila repeated. Her tone suddenly turned serious and she sighed. "Then you should take me on some. You never do."

His sweat fell. 'Uh why is she complaining now?"

His wife's whims are so hard to understand. But if that's what she wants then he needs to make some time.

"So Haruka, I was thinking.." Lila suddenly changed her tone again. "I don't want any interference. So could we go elsewhere for our honeymoon? A private island maybe?"

Haruka blinked at her suggestion. "Well, I don't mind that but what about your education?"

"Mmm, we already know I don't need to attend school anymore. I still need to work out the details. But I want to focus on my career and our family."

'Our family…'

Haruka liked the sound of that. He likes the sound of her plan too. "I've always wanted you to focus on your career, so I have no problem with that." He trailed off. "Our family eh?"

"Ah-huh, our family." Lila kept emphasising the our making him happy.

She must be doing this deliberately. Still, "A private island? I do have one but are you okay with that?"

He thought she would like to spend it in London or New York. 

"I'm okay with it, I want to raise the child peacefully and then we can come back."

A knowing ah escaped his lips. So that's why she said something like that. Indeed if they go away to a private island, then n.o.body will disturb them. 

But is that fine with her? He always pictured his wife as the type who likes to be around other people. 

'This isn't my bad influence is it?'

As Haruka debated about this in his head. He noticed Lila staring at him. She seemed to be debating about something in her head before she wrapped her arms around his neck.

"I want a kiss."

'Cute…' Haruka felt his cheeks grow hot and his heart beating loudly. She must be doing this deliberately.

XX Hotel - Two hours later -

Haruka's gaze fell on the girl fast asleep on his arms. 'Honestly, she is too much at times.' He wanted to take her back to the apartment, but Lila suggested staying at a hotel over night. It seems like she has become more daring and bold. No, that isn't it. He glanced over and saw a faint black swirl mark on her neck. 'It seems like she is starting to experience it.'

The side affects of those with power huh? Haruka understood that this was the reason for the whole journey thing. The whole trial those in the Teras.h.i.+ma family have to go through. But, it seems like there is something wrong with Lila's 'trial.'

Lila stired awake and he brushed his lips against her shoulders. "Hubby?" Lila mumbled.

"Mmmm, you hungry?"

She immediately turned around and buried her face in his arms. "Make sure to tell Kiryu were not coming back. He will worry."

"I told him already." Haruka trailed off. "You sure?"

"Mmm, I want to relax for the rest of the day."

His gaze softened at her words. "My wife, I love you."

Lila lifted her head up and laughed. "Uhh, why are you confessing to me?"

"I can't?"

"You can...ah." Lila suddenly said. "I remember I wanted to ask you something." She suddenly left his arms and looked around the room. "My bag?"

Haruka sighed and grabbed hold of her arm. He pulled her back into his embrace. "No."

"But hubby it's important."

"You're pregnant Lula. You need to relax and don't look at stressful things."

Lila sighed. "I dislike being ignorant. I know your worried but I only want to discuss something with you."

'When she says it this way, I can't argue.' Haruka extended his hand out and took out a silver coloured envelope from the drawer. He placed it on Lila's lip. "You want to ask about the buildings in these photos?"

"Ah-huh, I haven't seen these places before. I had a specialist look for them too but they couldn't identify it."

"That's because these are places in the future."

At that comment Lila blinked. "Zane's ability?"

"Yes, at least a little part of it. Honestly not even I know the details. But," Haruka's gaze fell on the pictures. "I was with him when we took these pictures. When Zane picked up the photo, it altered into something different."

"I see."

She doesn't seem surprised.

Haruka kissed behind her ears and then made his way towards her neck.

"Nnnhj….."

"Nice voice wife."

Lila hits him lightly. "Don't be stupid. Tell me more about these photos. Did you take the pictures?"

"I took them."

"In Star Town?"

Haruka shook his head. "No, these are places abroad." He pointed to the first picture. "This one was in London. It was near the apartment we lived in. This second one is in Korea, the third is from Spain and this fourth one is in New York."

He watched as a frown made it's way onto his wife's face. "Wife?"

"Hubby, doesn't that sound familiar to you?"

"Familiar?"

"My mother's senpai Takahas.h.i.+ Yumi went to New York for a time. Similarly my mother went to Korea, my sister went to Spain…"

Haruka frowned when he heard her words. "I see where your coming from. So it wasn't a coincidence?" He mumbled.

"Coincidence?"

"The place we visited and took these photos were places of wors.h.i.+p."

"Places of wors.h.i.+p?" Lila tapped the doc.u.ments with her fingers. "Like a church/monastery?"

"That's right."

He watched as a concentrated look appeared on her face. 'Whatever she is thinking, I hope she will tell me about it. I don't want their to be secrets between us anymore.'

Haruka kissed her neck lightly. Will this calm her down?
