Dream Star 768 Those Who Know How Blue The Sky Is Part 1

Well received huh? Of course, it would be. Since they came to New York, Lila has had more time to practice. She does not have much work to do here, so she has the time to polish her skills. Fewer people to bother them.

"Then let me reward you."

"N--no it's fine."

Haruka raised his eyebrows at this reply. She doesn't want a reward? Normally she-- he glanced over and realized why. It seems like she is still nervous. He needs to ease the tension somehow, the two of them cannot continue this way.

He reached over and grabbed her guitar case, he took the guitar out and started to play some chords.

Lilas's gaze softened. "Am I acting too strange?"

"Yeah."

She rested her head on his shoulders. "Mm, sorry. I just thought of what happened before we came here to New York. I was very angry at you Haruka and I almost broke up with you. But as I thought, I still love you the most. No matter what stupid things you do, like an idiot I will come back to you."

What is she trying to get at by saying all this?

"When I sang today I realized something. No," She trailed off and shook her head. "I understood my feelings properly for the first time. I loved you for a long time but I also fell in love with Kiryu."

"Do we have to talk about that one now?"

Lila laughed. "Your still quick to get jealous. But I think you need to relax more."

"I dont want to hear about your feelings for him."

"I loved him but I love you more." Lila paused. "You still dont want to listen?"

Haruka sighed when he heard those words. "That's not it. I just...dot know how to react." 

Haruka felt very conflicted whenever it came to discussing their feelings. He preferred the more physical approach than words. But then again, didn't he promise that he would change? 'I need to make it up to her, maybe I can do it this way.'

"The fact that you love me, I knew that before you did. The reason I was uneasy and conflicted wasn't because I doubted your feelings." Haruka mumbled.

That wasn't the reason for his insecurity.

"I know. You felt that it wasn't right for me to belong to you. You felt had for Kiryu."

"Yeah."

"But you know Haruka? That kindness and consideration of yours was unnecessary. In the end the one who decides my feelings is me. The one who decides who I stay with is me. I chose to be with you no matter what happens."

No matter what huh? It seems like he has underestimated her quite a bit.

"When you can't support the feelings of the one you love, it becomes painful. Kiryu is a very kind person, but even for him letting me go to you was difficult. When we were together there were times where he felt restless. He simply held me all day and didn't let me go. Back then, I didn't understand what he was going through. But now I do." Lila turned to him. "I want to support your feelings towards Rikksan, towards feeling guilty towards Kiryu but I can't. I want you to understand me." She leaned forward and brushed her lips against his ear. "I love you."

This girl has a way of rendering him speechless. How many times have they had such talks now? Haruka felt tired. Conveying his emotions with words is very difficult. He didn't realize how challenging it was before.

Haruka bent down and kissed her forehead. His lips lingered there for a few minutes. "You'll have to teach me. I am very bad at this."

"Then, give me my guitar back."

"Hmm? Sure." Haruka removed it from his hands and pa.s.sed it to her.

Lila started to play some chords and beamed happily. "You haven't listened to the new song properly yet right? I think you should."

That's right, he hasn't had the time to. Haruka knew she was working on a new song though. He nodded. "Alright, go ahead."

His eyes widened when he heard the lyrics. She is starting at a random point in the song and not the beginning, yet for some reason.. Haruka felt overcome with emotions. What is this? Since when could Lila sing this way?

Ever since he decided to recruit her for the Dream Stars Tournament. Haruka thought he researched everything about her already.

He thought he already knew everything and yet.. 'To think she could sing with such a gentle voice.'

A shower begins to pour

From the red-stained sky

When the song ended, Haruka immediately pulled the girl into his arms. "Sorry."

Lila laughed softly. "Um, I didn't sing so you could blame yourself. You're hugging me so tightly."

"I love you so much."

He loves her and only her. Haruka kept kissing her cheeks and Lila continued to laugh. "Um, um wait time out. If your going to kiss me, kiss my lips."

After she confessed through her song like that. How could he possibly taint it with his desires? Haruka shook his head. "I like the song a lot. Did you sing it in English?"

"I did! But as expected singing it in the original language is better."

Lila is very amazing. Most songs would loose menacing if translated to another language. But Haruka knew that it isn't the case with her. If she sings it then… 

"My wife you will be busier from now on."

Lila pouted. "Even if work pours in, your still going on dates with me right?"

Haruka blinked before he burst into laughter. 'That's her main concern.'

"We will go on dates, we can go on one after this."

"Ah, we can't. I have work."

Haruka frowned. "What work? I'm your manager. They should be telling me this."

"But Haruka your work phone is switched of."

Ah, right. He switched it off yesterday so he could spend some time with her. Haruka kissed her neck. "Do you have to go?"

"Well." She played with his hands. "Didn't you say to me that I have to take whatever opportunity I can?"

"That's true. But, since yesterday it seems like I don't want to let you go. Do you have to go?"

Lila laughed. "Well I figured it would be like that, so I rescheduled it."

Haruka blinked and sighed. It seems like she is learning a few tricks. He flicked her forehead. "Don't mess with me. You already saw how I behaved last night. If you keep playing games with me, who knows what would happen to you."
