Dream Star 786 We Should Go Back

They spend the next few days relaxing. But those relaxing days eventually came to an end. Today he had a meeting which he would attend with Lila. This is Lila's chance to make a name for herself internationally.

Haruka waited for Lila at the door. But he leaned against the wall. He noticed this since earlier but he felt his face burn. His breathing slowly became unsteady. 'd.a.m.n, am I sick?' this isn't the time for this.

Haruka felt a warm hand press on his forehead, he blinked. "Harukkun, are you alright? Do you feel sick?"

'Harukkun?' He raised his eyebrows slightly at this.

"I'm alright."

"Uwaaah, your burning!"

His eyes twitched annoyed. Why is she ignoring him? How frustrating. Haruka wanted to say something back but he felt his vision blur.

Haruka woke up and found himself in the familiar bedroom.

He watched as Lila placed a pot on the desk, and took out some bottles. Is she making some herbal medicine? Either way, his gaze lands on the clock and he stands up.

"Wait a minute?!! You can't get up Harukkun."

"I have to go for a meeting, I can't be late."

"This isn't the time to worry. Let's go to the hospital."

"I don't want to, I don't believe in doctors."

"But if you drag on like this you'll...."

"Stop this nonsense. You know I don't mean that. I'm very worried about you."

He knows that. She always finds a way to soothe him. He knew that she worried. He knew all about her kindness. But… "Did I ask you to worry about me?"

"Don't forget you have other important matters to worry about. Here take this." Haruka pa.s.sed her a folder he received the other day.

He can't believe this, he can't even sit up properly. It really does seem like its impossible for him. However not for her. She seems to be just fine today.

"Whats that?"

"The notice for the music screening from Dear records. You have to hold a personal concert every one day for a week. There are no special standards for this examination, they will just determine your scores through concerts. Everyday there should be a judge, who'll be watching your performance. …"

"But.."

"Lilchan, you already have the best conditions and professional staff to help you. There shouldn't even be a problem for you, even if I am not there."

"Haruka."

"Don't worry about me, just take this notice and go to the studio. Its only a few blocks away, so the weather shouldn't affect you."

"But I can't stop worrying about you when your sick... I'm already worrying so much…"

She is crying again. Haruka extends his hand out and pulls her into his arms, gently kissing her eyelids.

"We can continue this later, so go now. "

Once the girl left, he collapses on to the bed. d.a.m.n. What is he doing getting sick for? He went through so much to get Lila here to New York, even infuriating Zane.

When he woke up again, he felt somebody in his arms and found his wife there. Haruka glanced over at the clock and noticed something. 'Only an hour has pa.s.sed.' It she ems she didn't go to the meeting. What a stupid girl.

If it were the past him he would have scolded her. But everything is different now. She came back for his sake.

"Don't worry that girl too much."

Haruka looked over and saw a man with red hair at the door. "Kusaji Atsuro?"

"Yeah. You feeling better?"

Haruka blinked and placed his hand on his head. His fever seemed to have gone down. "You did this?"

"Well, I've always had a soft spot for crying girls."

Haruka sighed. "No, you're still not over that woman."

Lila's eyes are exactly like her mothers.

Atsuro laughed. "You got me there. But seriously take care of yourself more. When you're wife is pregnant, you're supposed to be the healthiest…"

"You can tell?"

"Well Sumire came to me first when she was pregnant, so it's the same thing." Atsuro trailed off. "But huh, something is strange with her."

"Strange?"

"Her symptomps seem different."

"She was poisoned a lot."

"That might be it. Do you know what kind of poison?"

"I do." Haruka muttered. How could he forget?

"Then give me a list later on, I will look into it." Atsuro trailer off and took a few bottles out. "As for you take these and you will be fine. It's just normal fatigue for you."

"For Lila?"

"I couldn't tell what to give her so for now…" Atsuro pulled out a large bottle that had an unusual purple substance. "Make her drink this at least four times a day."

"Alright."

"She has my contact info if you need it."

With those words said and a few more instructions, Atsuro quickly left. Haruka turned to the woman in his arms. 'Now then what do I do with her? Should I punish her?'

Lila most-likely pa.s.sed on the only opportunity she will get here. He could negotiate with those people, but that would waste time. They will scorn her whenever he isn't looking.

He felt her stir in his arms. "Hey there sleepy head."

Lila laughed softly. "Uh, busted."

"Mmm, naughty."

She extended her hand out and caressed his cheeks. "You look better."

"Yeah, just fatigue."

"Good."

Haruka gently kissed her forehead. "You want to sleep more? You looked comfortable."

"I will in a bit. Say Haruka, we should go back soon."

He bit his lip when he heard these words.

"You understand right? Everybody is coming here with excuses, but it's obvious why. They need us to return."

"Lila, I don't want you to…"

"I know very well." Lila nodded. "But we should go back. I don't want to leave Kiryu here, however I know mother can handle it. So we should go back ahead of her."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, I think it's time."

Haruka clenched his fist. 'I don't want her to go back now, it's far too dangerous.' But he glanced at her expression. He won't be able to convince her.
