My head snapped around and the air surrounding me produced ice crystals. My eyes focused in on Asura, who was looking at me with a disgusted face and a condescending look.

Because my head was so cold, the first thought that actually popped into my head was how stupid this guy was. I mean in such a situation he just said that.

I would kill him now.

Ella was my sister.

MY SISTER!

Ella who was standing over him didn't understand everything that he said, but she was furious enough. I quickly sent a mental message over to stop her from doing anything, before my aura gushed out even stronger than before.

My face was now expressionless as Kuro's voice sounded out behind me.

"No don't!"

I sent a small look over my shoulder to look at her, my eyes dead. I had some good will towards her because of the help she provided me, the first time I went to the town. But that would only go so far, it wasn't much as she always gave me a bad feeling.

I don't know what my eyes looked like, but they must have been scary as Kuro instantly shut her mouth that was about to say more. She quivered slightly and her eyes dimmed. She knew Asura was about to die. She couldn't save him.

She didn't even try to get up and come to help him, as I turned back to look at him. I walked over slowly as my blade was put away, he would suffer for a while now. Ella, who could tell how my feelings had increased, started to realize that whatever Asura had just said, really set me off.

Her gaze became even colder as she looked down at him.

I walked in front of him and squatted down like I did before. His face and body s.h.i.+vered slightly as he finally thought about what he just said.

"Repeat what you just said."

He s.h.i.+vered more as the sweat on his face froze over.

"Say it!"

I shouted at him as he continued to s.h.i.+ver not saying anything. At my shout his face turned red and he finally spoke again.

"Don't tell…"

*Smack*

I hit him before he could continue, my voice reaching new lows.

"What you said after that."

He shook.

"What a disgusting a.s.s…"

*Smack*

"Continue."

"You're running around with an infec…."

*Smack!*

"Continue."

Blood started to fall down his lips as his teeth fell out.

"That eats people and don't…."

*Smack!*

"Continue"

His voice was very weak as he was addled from the force behind my blows. When he didn't say anything for a few seconds I sent out another slap.

*Smack!*

That caused more blood to fly, but also woke him up, and he continued in a pitiful manner.

"You even call her sister you sick mani…"

*Smack*

"She!"

*Smack!*

"Is!"

*SMACK!!*

"MY SISTER!"

*SMACK!!*

"You know nothing!"

*SMACK!!*

"I would never touch my sister"

*SMACK!!*

"I would never harm my sister!"

*SMACK!!!*

"I would never let you slander her, or me!"

*SMACK!!!*

I was gulping in air as blood flew everywhere. I held him by the neck as I continued to take out my anger. His face was disfigured as I continued to rain blows on to him. He had long lost his senses and didn't respond to the blows that I rained down.

When I couldn't feel any response from him and saw that he was close to dying, I finally dropped his body. I wouldn't let him go that easily. This b.l.o.o.d.y p.r.i.c.k needs to learn a lesson before he dies.

I dropped his body and turned around; I walked over to the back pack and pulled out a red vial. Grabbing onto it I turned back around and saw that Ella was standing where I had just been. She rained a few kicks into his mid-section.

Walking back to him I pulled his head up, before pouring the vial down his throat. I plugged his mouth to make sure he didn't spit it up. After a few seconds the visible damage that I caused him, healed itself, and I marveled slightly at how effective the vial was.

Once his body healed he was still unconscious, so I smack his face a few times to wake him up. After 2 smacks he finally woke up and terror filled his vision, as I smiled down at him. I then continued to rain blows down on him and then force a health potion down his throat.

Each time he woke up the terror in his eyes increased, and by the forth potion he started to scream for death.

"Let me die!"

At the fifth potion I finally stopped. He sent me a questioning look as the terror in his bones stopped him from looking straight at me.

"Have you learnt your lesson?"

He probably thought he saw a way out as he shook his head up and down vigorously. No matter what I said at this point he would agree. After beating him up till this point I decided not to kill him. But I wouldn't let him off Scot free.

He sent me a pleading look as I turned quiet and he looked hopeful. I stared down at him and gave him a smile.

"Good. Ella."

I turned to the side where Ella was standing with an excited expression. Motioning towards her she happily bounced over. Kuro that had regained her legs stood to the side with a pale face and didn't say anything. I couldn't tell what she was thinking, but the terror in her eyes was clear.

As Ella finally made it next to me, I gave her a smile then ruffled her hair. Asura that was being gripped by me, sent an uneasy look at what was happening and I gave him a smile as I spoke to Ella.

"Eat his right arm."

Asura's face paled as he heard me speak and looked fearfully towards Ella that had a happy expression.

"Don't infect him though."

With the increase in the infection skill, she wouldn't infect a person if she didn't want to.

"And take it slowly."

Asura's face got even worse as Ella pounced on him and held him down. I looked on from the side with cold eyes.

"Please no, I was wrong. Please no!"

He shouted out loudly, his terror filled eyes stared at Ella for a second before moving to me with a pleading look. I just continue to look at him coldly.

"Some things can't be unsaid."

My words broke the last amount of hope he had and he could only shake in terror, as Ella's mouth mover towards his hand.

*Crunch*

"AHHHHHHH!!!"

*Snap*

Ella started to eat, as Asura's scream resounded through the forest. His voice was being torn as the torture continued. Ella could have finished his arm in a few seconds but was taking her time slowly. She especially liked the extra blood she would get from taking her time.

*Crack*

*Snap*

I looked up from what Ella was doing to stare at Kuro, who was still standing to the side, a complex look was in her eyes as she stared at what was happening, she didn't say anything as it continued and didn't intervene.

Just as Ella was about to reach half way through his arm, Kuro couldn't take it anymore and turned around. Both she and I didn't say anything and the only sound that resounded out was the snapping of bones, drinking of blood And Asura's blood curdling scream.

It took 2 minutes before the screams of agony finally finished and Ella licked her lips, I could tell she wanted to eat more. But I didn't want him to die anymore, I wanted him to suffer.

"You don't know anything."

I whispered it quietly to myself, before Ella got back up and bounded back to my side, showing me a happy smile. She gave me a hug under the bewildered face of Kuro and I ruffled her hair again.

"Did I do good?"

"Yes you did good."

Kuro was speechless at our words, before sending me a look. I saw what she wanted to say and gave a small nod. She rushed over to the bag that was on the ground and got another health potion, before rus.h.i.+ng over to Asura. Reaching him that was lying on the ground with blank eyes; she poured it down his throat.

My eyes sharpened as I watched him drink the potion, I wanted to know something.

After a few seconds the wounds that had been inflicted healed and the blood stopped flowing from his wounds, but his arm didn't re-grow. Exactly what I wanted to see. I wanted to know if removed appendages would re-grow with a potion.

I knew that my skill regeneration could do such a thing, but I wasn't sure how powerful a health potion was. Asura's blank eyes finally started to gain clarity as the pain that he was feeling finally stopped, he blinked them a few times before his shoulder moved. He wanted to move his now, nonexistent arm and it took him a minute before he realized that he didn't have one.

Once he realized that his arm was gone completely, he started to scream in a loud voice again, but just as it was starting to get annoying, Kuro moved first.

*Slap*

The slap she sent to his face shocked him into silence and his eyes bulged as he stared at her.

"You b.l.o.o.d.y idiot."

She spat those words out as she gave him a glare; she knew that this could have been easily avoided. Asura just had to keep his mouth shut. He couldn't say anything back to her, as her words couldn't be refuted, he realized that now. But it was too late.

What made me frown, was that after she said that she moved her head down and close to his ear, she whispered something and his face brightened up.

What did she just say?

I couldn't hear her from such a distance; I couldn't help but to wonder what she could possibly say at this point to make him smile.

Just as I was planning to go over and interrogate them again, my danger perception started to ring, I hadn't felt this in such a long time. The threat I was feeling was also eminent. I trusted my gut and said no more as I dived to the ground, shouting out behind me.

"Ella Down!"

Ella reacted fast and dived downwards, while Kuro that was still in front of Asura, also heeded my words and dived to the side. Her reaction was fast and that was what saved her, as 2 arrows pa.s.sed where she had been sitting.

Asura was slow on the uptake, probably because of all that had happened and both of the arrows plunged into his body. He couldn't even make a sound as one lodged into his head instantly killing him, while the other went into his side.

2 Arrows had also missed both me and Ella, and in the short time span that had pa.s.sed since they flew over, we both sprang to our feet and prepared ourselves. We looked in the direction where the arrows had come from.

As we stared at the trees and foliage that covered the area, suddenly 5 figures materialized.

Each was tall and slim and they had bows pointed in our direction. They kept them up as the metal arrows pointed in our direction. The clothes they were wearing were outlandish in the dark setting.

The gear looked like normal hunting gear you would normally see in fantasy games. It was brown leather mixed with some metal and fur, with some green mixed in.

I had trouble making out their exact features but one point stood out to me. My eyes narrowed as it focused on the heads of these new people.

They had pointed ears?
