This Time You Are Mine 299 Eventful Sunday Morning

"Son, what happened to the job I gave you?"

The young man hands an envelope to the older man who smiles upon reading the papers in it.

"An exclusive, huh? Great job! When will this take effect?" 

"Today. I'm leaving after breakfast to have an interview with Hyacinth." Lester answers his father's questions while eating fried rice with hotdog and egg, paired with brewed coffee, on the side.

"SkyMu is really making a lot of noise ever since the change in their president. But when will they reveal the person behind all of these?" His father curiously asks. 

"I'm not really sure, either. She told me she's just waiting for an appropriate time." 

"It means she's waiting for a bigger event or bigger achievement before she reveals her name in public." Lester's faster laughs out loud after saying those words.

"What's so funny, Father?"

"She's ambitious thus she wants a name for herself with her achievement instead of being called someone's wife in the business world." The elder explains.

The remark of his father makes Lester recall the time he had spent with Yve. Indeed, Yve is an independent woman. As for being ambitious, he's not that sure. At school, Yve has achieved the top seat and all because of her hard work.

His father has stopped laughing and looks at Lester intently waiting for him to express his thoughts. 

"Father, do you think, it's a good idea to continue this partners.h.i.+p in the future?" Lester looks at him with a very confused face. 

"So far, it's fine. But for your safety, have the project-based exclusivity first since we really don't know yet her full abilities. We are already earning a lot from getting exclusive rights on Mr. Gray's group of companies." His father explains what he has to say on this issue. 

After eating their breakfast, Lester leaves the dining table and gets his things before driving his car towards SkyMu office where he is scheduled to meet Hyacinth's manager. 

Once the scheduled time comes, Lester finds himself on the way to the location with Hyacinth's manager. 

"Are the questions fine?"

"I think so. I didn't hear any complaints or special requests from Hyacinth." 

"I see." 

Soon after, they find themselves inside Hyacinth's house and where a team of SkyMu's video team is already setting up the needed equipment.

In the meantime, Yve has finally wake up. But her head is really banging in pain. 

"Awake now, my dear little drunkard?" Vince smiles at their doorstep with a cup of warm tea in his hand. 

"I'm not a drunkard." Yve pouts and tries to sit down on the bed but her headache is stopping her.

"How come you're fine? You didn't drink a lot last night?" 

"Well, I did. I asked Chrysthe to pick us up while Jaleb was with Mom last night. Here, drink this tea to make you feel a little better." Vince answers her question and hands her the tea after helping her sit on the bed properly.

"Thanks." Yve drinks the warm tea and it really helps her lower the pain at least a notch.

"You can sleep more if you like."

"I can't. Hyacinth is having an interview with Lester this morning. I need to be ready for updates." 

"Don't worry too much. Lester is the interviewer and Hyacinth is the interviewee. There are both good people and well experienced in their field. I sent Sylvan though just in case." Vince explains as he tries to convince her to sleep more. 

"Ok. Wake me up if anything comes up, okay? Also I need to review my lessons for the upcoming major exam. " Yve reminds him.

"I got it. I will wake you up by lunch. But that time, I think your hangover has subsided. Now, drink that tea up until the last drop." 

Yve does what Vince told her partly because she knows that she will not be very productive because of her hangover so might as well sleep. Once Yve's breathing has stabilized, Vince leaves her inside their room and heads to the study where he can read some reports from Team Bravo.

Speaking of Team Bravo's works, Steve is having a lot of trouble because of them. Ever since he landed the other day, he hasn't slept on his bed. 

"We need to make sure that we win this bid." Steve informs his team.

"We understand, sir!"

Once he receives the papers and final project proposal they will present, Steve adjourns the meeting and heads back to his hotel. Since he came earlier than planned, his room is not yet finished. So he had no choice but to stay in a hotel room. To make it a little bit convenient, the hotel he stays at is a closer to their company building.

Back in the country, Jenny wakes up and does her exercise routine to keep her body healthy and in tip-top shape. 

"Good morning, dear. What do you want for breakfast?" Her nanny asks her seeing her in their private gym.

"Just whip up the usual breakfast. Please bring them in my room and place it on desk beside my study table." Jenny replies to her nanny with a wide smile on her face.

"I will. But your brother's secretary called and said he will visit around lunch time just to check on you. So lunch has to be in the dining table." 

"I see. Thanks, Nanny." Jenny smiles and starts her exercise. Seeing her do so, her nanny leaves her alone inside. 

Eating in her room is also one of the things that she can only do because her brother isn't around.

In Hyacinth's place, the interview s.p.a.ce has been set up as Lester and Hyacinth take their seats.

"h.e.l.lo, Miss Hyacinth."

"I'm Lester. Thank you for this interview."

"You're welcome. Thank you for the wonderful questions. I'm excited for this interview."

"Thank you. Please take care of me."

"The same way, please take care of me." 

The camera starts rolling and Lester proceeds with the interview. 

Sylvan is on the side observing her Lady Boss' friend. He's a journalist but his interviewing skills aren't bad either. He isn't shy or nervous in front of the camera and a star like Hyacinth.

'Seems like there's nothing to worry. Lester will also nail the exclusive interviews for this project.' Sylvan's train of thought is broken when he felt Hyacinth's secretary pushes his elbow a little bit. 

"Thank you for this care and consideration to Hyacinth."

"No need to thank me. I believe our president fully appreciates Hyacinth's worth and just giving it back to her." Sylvan nonchalantly responds to the manager before leaving her. 

The manager tries to follow her but stops when Sylvan pulls out his phone,

"Yes, Miss Yve?" 

When Sylvan heard her footsteps walking away from him, he puts his phone back to his pocket and releases a deep sigh.

'Lady Boss, please forgive me for using your name without permission just to avoid the lady. I promise to serve and protect you to the best of my skills.' Sylvan recites in his mind and makes an oath as if Yve is standing and waiting in front of him.
