This Time You Are Mine 334 Morning After

Vince wakes up and smiles seeing Yve sleeps while hugging him in her pet.i.te arms. He plants a kiss on her forehead before slowly turning to the other side to look at the time using his phone.

"It's still early. I should just call Sylvan just in case." 

Vince makes an inquiry on Yve's schedule. Sylvan informs him that she has the final meeting for this weekend's video release and final check for the video message she made which is to be released tomorrow but Sylvan had them scheduled before lunch so Yve can sleep longer. As soon as he returns to the bed to sleep longer beside his wife, Yve wraps her arm to his body. 

"Are you awake now?" Vince asks her.

"No." Yve smiles with her eyes closed.

"You can sleep longer. I already called Sylvan and your meetings will still be at 10 in the morning." 

"Hmm…" Vince covers her with the comforter once more and plays with the strands of her hair.

"You know what? I like how you play with my hair. It makes me feel comfortable and sleepy." Yve tells Vince.

"Then, I'll do this every night to help you sleep."

"Hmm… thanks." She smiles still with her eyes closes. However, she finds it hard to move her lower body. Somehow a light jolt of pain is felt whenever she tries to move her legs but she doesn't want Vince to know about it.

"Are you feeling uncomfortable in any way?" Vince suddenly asks her making her blush because of it.

"I heard that I'll still be painful after doing it for the first time." Vince explains making Yve's face redder than it already is.

"If you're not feeling fine then we can cancel the meeting and you can take another leave from school." 

"There's no need for that. With all the projects, I can't afford to be absent again." Yve tries to sit up straight when a tinge of pain hits her again.

"Don't force yourself." Vince helps her sit with her back on the headrest. 

But the growl from her stomach makes her even wish that she'll be buried below the ground because of the things that are embarra.s.sing her. 

"What do you want to eat? I'll order our breakfast." Vince didn't bother asking anything else so as not to make his wife more uncomfortable than she already is.

"I want a morning meal – egg, hotdog, with garlic rice and my hot chocolate." Yve blurts out the things she wants to eat.

"Okay. Do you want anything else?" 

"Nothing at the moment but you are free to order other dishes." Yve sheepishly smiles. 

"Okay. Now stay here for a while." Vince is about to leave the bedroom to walk towards the telephone in the suit room when he sees his wife reaching out to her underwear and dress. When caught in the act, Yve stops and smiles like a child caught stealing sweets from the fridge. 

"It'll be too difficult for you to wear that tight dress for now. Let me get you the robe for now then I'll ask someone to pick up a dress for work and the school uniform for you." Vince smiles as Yve nods in agreement. 

Soon after, the food arrives and Yve hears Vince ordering the staff to place the food on the table and makes an inquiry of the tray he also requested earlier. By the time she hears the door closes, Vince is walking inside the bedroom while holding a tray of food. 

"I thought you would prefer to eat here." 

"Thanks but where is your food? I'm not really picky on where we eat. I just want us to dine together." 

Vince nods and after placing the tray on the bed where Yve can easily reach it, he walks back to get his own share. The couple eats their meal together and enjoys the delicious taste. They have decided to spend the morning on the bed while watching some shows from the television. 

Meanwhile, Steve has just attended the project briefing. Luckily, the project is quite nice and none of the top companies who defeated him prior are present. 

'I'll definitely win this project this time around.' Steve positively thinks as he opens his computer to check his emails. 

One message that struck him the most is the email of Jenny.

"h.e.l.lo, dearest brother!

How are you doing? I haven't heard anything about your ventures there. I'm not sure if you have heard on the recent news about the success of SkyMu and many people are saying that Hu0026E is fully threatened by their recent success. I know you can do more if you will be coming to the country the soonest. 

That's all for my report. Take care of yourself brother. Hurry back home." 

Steve realizes that he has missed a lot of things that are happening back in the country. He should really speed things up and get this win to at least give an excuse to the Board and the investors for setting his priorities this way. He decides to send a response to his sister.

"Jenny, hi!

I'm doing fine. It's just I have this last project to bid and it's a loss for the company if I don't partic.i.p.ate. Don't worry about the news there. I will handle it as soon as I return. As for you, focus on your studies. I heard one of the school's major exams is coming. I want to hear some good news from you. 

Take care of yourself, too. See you soon." 

Steve opens an online newspaper site to read the latest news on the country. He even browses through the entertainment section to get an update on the compet.i.tion between Hu0026E and SkyMu. Looking at the articles, it was definitely a loss for them but sticking back to the way how they do things is a good way to counter SkyMu in the future. 

'There's no need to worry on Hu0026E for now. The artists will surely get nominations and invites for the upcoming prestige award giving body. Wait!! Don't tell me this is the reason for the sudden aggression of SkyMu?'
