This Time You Are Mine 336 Thinking Of Me

The moment Vince changes into his working clothes, the couple leaves the hotel with Vince driving her towards SkyMu building. 

"What time will you go home later?" Vince asks.

"I'm not sure. I might or might not be able to go back early. Sylvan arranges my schedule and I haven't talk to him last night so I don't have any idea." Yve answers with all sincerity.

"I see. Don't think too much about it. Just don't overwork and neglect yourself, okay?" 

"I won't. You, too. I know you have a lot of projects both for Gray Group and Stones Enterprises. "Make sure to always eat on time and take a nap when you're feeling tired, got it?" 

"Yes, Mam!" Vince salutes with his free hand making both of them laugh at his gesture. 

The drive to the building is short yet filled with laughter and sweet moments as they talk about everything and anything that they can think of.

"See you later, then." Yve smiles as she removes her seatbelt but Vince stops her from leaving the car.

"Aren't you forgetting something?"

 Vince's question confuses Yve and looks at her things. She clearly has her school uniform inside the paper bag, her school and office files are in their respective cases. Seeing her troubled look Vince points at his cheek like how a kid would ask a goodbye kiss from their parents. 

"My goodbye kiss?"

Yve stares for a while processing the words she just heard and making up her mind. When her brain has seemed to figure out everything, redness fills up her pale, smooth face. Nevertheless, she kisses him on the cheeks and runs as fast as she can towards the building placing a smile on his face as he wife's figure is already deep inside the building.

"You're really very cute every time you feel shy." Vince expresses his thoughts as he drives away from the building. 

"Sylvan, what's my schedule for the entire day?" Yve asks Sylvan as soon as she arrives at her office,

The latter informs her of the two company meetings for this morning then another meeting with one of the investors after school. 

"The investors? Have they decided to invest in the company?" 

"They said they will make their decision in front of you and they requested for your presence alone without Mr. Gray and Sir Edward." 

"I see. Will it be a dinner meeting then?"

"I arranged it to be that way. Do you have anything planned ahead? I can still cancel it."

"No! I'll attend the dinner meeting." 

Once her schedule for the day is already finalized, Yve reviews the files for her morning meetings and attends them respectively. Her meetings are long and tiring yet she's very thankful to her staff that did all the tasks extremely well and accurately. 

Now, it's time for her lunch and since she stayed at the hotel last night, she doesn't have any lunch box ready. Sylvan took this into consideration this morning and ordered her favorite meal set early that day. While eating, Yve suddenly remembers that Vince doesn't have a packed lunch as well and anxiously thinks that he might miss his lunch. So she makes a phone call to Edward to double check.

"Really? I didn't order food for him at the company cafeteria. He also doesn't have any lunch meetings for today. He might really not eat lunch." Edward is also anxious on the other line.

"I'll order food for him and makes sure he eats. Leave it to me." Yve a.s.sures his cousin-in-law and ends the phone call just like that.

"Haru are you in the country now?"

"Wah! How did you know? I'm just here for a few days. Why?"

"Can you make a special lunch meal for Vince right now? You can ask one of your chefs if you can't." Yve makes a request.

"Sure, but if it's for lunch I can't make it any special. I'll just pack some of the dishes I just cooked. Will that be okay?" Haru is a little worried if Yve will agree to it.

"Of course, I do understand. I just don't want him to miss dinner." 

"Okay. Then I'll have it delivered in after 10 minutes." 

"Thank you very much." 

After making a request to Haru she calls her husband.

"Vince?"

"Yes? Is everything alright?" 

"On my part, yes. The meetings went well but about your question this morning…"

"What is it?"

"My schedule… I have a meeting after school so I might be late in going home. How about you?"

"Same routine as everything is under control but since you'll be late tonight, I'll schedule some meetings as well. I'll pick you up at the office?"

"About that, the meeting won't be at the office. I'll ask Sylvan to drive me to Gray Group instead."

"Okay."

"By the way, have you eaten your lunch?"

A moment of silence pa.s.ses by as he checks his watch before replying to Yve.

"It's that time already. I haven't eaten yet. But I will so you don't have to worry." 

Just on time, one of his secretarial staff arrives with a pack of lunch for Vince.

"Mr. Gray, Mr. Haru's restaurant has a delivery for you." The staff informs him as he places the food on top of his desk.

"Thank you." 

As the person leaves the office, Vince continues his phone call.

"Did you order food for me?" He asks his wife.

"Hmm… I thought that you might miss your lunch especially that nothing was prepared for you in the first place." 

"Did you call the restaurant for this meal?" Vince asks as he opens the food pack.

"Nope. I call Haru and I was lucky that he's in the country." 

Yve continues to explain and tell Vince how she was able to send him his lunch as the latter takes small bites from it and smiles at the taste and effort Yve has given to him today. 

"Thank you for thinking of me. Now, why don't we eat together? Use your earphones." Vince makes a request to his wife which the latter happily agrees.
