After all, the ring that surrounds its body stored many kinds of weapons within. As the ring shone with light, a s.h.i.+ning bow with refine and elegant looks appeared in the Knight of Divinity's hands.
The Shadow Flame Priest and the King of Darkness both moved into the shadows and begun their fight in the darkness of the stage. Their movements couldn't be seen by the average person, only those such as Ye Qin, w.a.n.g Tao, or those on the same level and above could see what was happening.
Yang Chen's Super Soldier moved as it appeared in front of the Reclused Hermit. The Flame Monk threw fireb.a.l.l.s at the Knight of Divinity, while the Golden Abbot and the Blackgold Python Tiger both released gold element energy at each other.
Finally, the Qiulong stared at the Devil Abbot which started to release all three of its elements at once. A Buddhist mantra, as well as an unknown tongue which was the Devil mantra, could be heard replaying over and over again as its aura became stronger.
The Devil Abbot's body became increasingly bright in gold and purple light that seemed to merge well together without any conflict despite being powers of opposing sides.
Not only did the light become brighter, but the abbot's body also expanded in size, reaching over ten meters in height. A strange 'Ohm' sound could be heard throughout the stage at the same time.
Now, everyone had an opponent to fight, of course, since the Knight of Divinity was no match for the Fire monk on its own, w.a.n.g Tao will be supporting her while fighting the Golden Abbot.
Within the darkness of the field, the clash between two dark powers could be heard. If one were to observe the fight, they would notice a dark-colored monk using palm attacks as it strikes hard against the air, causing vibrations wherever they struck.
Even though it missed its target, the attack was so strong that it had caused vibrations even in the air itself!
The King of Darkness moved with great speed, as a s.h.i.+n.o.bi that specialized in a.s.sa.s.sination and speed, it was no wonder that it was able to dodge the attacks of the shadow monk.
Within the world of shadows, it was the ultimate hunter. No foe could escape from its grasp within this world. The King of Darkness hid within the shadows and launched kunai and shuriken from various angles at the same time.
Its movements were so fast, that it appeared as though there were dozens of it. Indeed that was true, its movements created afterimages that could attack as long as it provided them with enough energy to do so.
The shadow monk felt as though it were fighting an army of ninja rather than a single foe. As a master of darkness in its own right, it had no fear against its opponent.
The attacks from its opponent didn't even cause it to flinch. With its powerful body, it took every attack head-on as though it didn't feel a thing. If one were to describe it, it was as pointless as throwing an egg at a rock.
As its afterimages fired, the King of Darkness itself held a shortsword in its right hand. Staring down at its prey, it moved like a phantom, appearing right at the shadow monk with its shortsword at its neck.
The shadow monk reacted, it jumped out and destroyed all the afterimages as well as pulled the darkness in the surroundings towards itself.
The darkness closed in and surrounded both monsters at the same time. With a shortsword on its opponent's neck, the King of Darkness wasn't scared. After all, it was called the King of Darkness, as the name implies, it was a ruler of darkness and was invincible against all monsters that use darkness.
Instead of quickly finis.h.i.+ng off its prey, the King of Darkness silently held its sword at its opponent's throat to see what would happen.
The shadow monk drew the darkness towards itself as its body became darker and darker. Not only that but the darkness that was being absorbed also seemed to become one with it, enabling it to control the darkness like one of its own limbs.
Extending the darkness, it reached for the King of Darkness. Contrary to its thoughts, the King of Darkness didn't budge and simply waited. As the arms of darkness grabbed onto its body, the King of Darkness still didn't move an inch.
Instead, it stared down at its opponent as if looking at something that was already dead. Rather than being tangled in the darkness, the King of Darkness didn't want to wait anymore. Its hand moved with a singular motion as its shortsword cut into something before going into its sheath.
The King of Darkness jumped back as the darkness dispersed completely, revealing both monsters on the stage. The shadow monk returned to the Monster sea on its own due to its injuries, while the King of Darkness simply hid while waiting for an opportunity.
At the same time, Jia Yazhu's Knight of Divinity fired arrows of light at the Fire Shrined Monk. Using its flames, the flaming monk reached out with its palms and burned the arrows of light into dust.
Its attacks seemed to not be able to even put a dent on its opponent. The Fire monk leaped through the air and pounced towards the Knight of Divinity that fired a barrage of arrows.
Whoos.h.!.+ Whoos.h.!.+
The arrows were fired from various angles, the fire monk didn't seem to mind as flames erupted from its entire body, completely burning down the arrows of light.
Just as it was getting close to its opponent, a huge block of ice blocked its path.
Bang!
The Fire Shrined Monk smashed itself into the huge chunk of ice. A huge dent was made in the ice, but it did not shatter. In fact, the flames being erupted could barely melt the ice at all. As for where the ice came from, it was obvious that it came from the Blackgold Python Tiger.
"Yazhu, you should retreat. You are no match for him." w.a.n.g Tao told her.
Jia Yazhu looked at w.a.n.g Tao who didn't seem to be joking. She nodded her head as the Knight of Divinity returned to the Monster sea.
Now, it was up to w.a.n.g Tao and the Blackgold Python Tiger to take on two powerful humanoid monsters on their own.
