"Forget it, I can just ask at the party." Ariana replied with a shrug. She then grabbed Edlyn's hand as she tried to pick up their pace. Talisha grabbed Ariana's shoulder and gave her a shaky smile. "Sorry old habits are hard to kill.... cough, cough... for my friends I can wave certain fees." Talisha said as she pulled back her hand. "Well that is so kind of you.... I mean I don't want to get cheated out of information especially if it's something that can be considered as common knowledge." Ariana said with an innocent smile.

By the time the group of girls made it to the training grounds the party was well on its way. "Oh wow they really transformed this place!" Halina gasped. "I agree... wow" Talisha said. "I know it took so much time to organize everyone to decorate this place." Ariana said with a heavy sigh. "Worth it though." Edlyn said with a giant grin. Ariana puffed out her chest. It was great that she was able to drag Vera with her to the meetings. Making sure that Flint couldn't corner her alone but now that they mentor program was over she had no idea how she would be able to survive the meetings.

"Does she do shoes too?" Another girl who was close by said as she and others started to crowd around. "No unfortunately. You will need my grandfather's catalog for that." Edlyn continued.

"Honestly there is nothing special with what those four are wearing." Vanessa arrogantly shouted to her groupies. "Miss Brenton I didn't know you were here too." Ariana said as the crowd started to part. "Of course I am here! I am not some gauche person who shows up to a party tardy! Scheming to grab the limelight with their outfits, solicitating their tacky family business and all. To be perfectly honest I find that only pathetic families are able to who-?!" Vanessa had no chance to finish what she was saying. Ariana closed the distance between them and caught her face in between her index finger and thumb.

You're going to be polite, you're going to compliment her work and your going to drop a lot of cash before we leave that shop. Then your going to wear every single one of those outfits and promote her shop. If I ever hear you speak badly about anyone a.s.sociated with me I will finish what I started today. Do we have an understanding?" Ariana's dark tone caused Vanessa's eyes to well up with tears as her face paled drastically.

"I said do we have an understanding?!" Ariana hissed. A small squeaking sound escaped Vanessa's mouth and as she quickly nodded her head in agreement. "Good." Ariana said cheerfully as she released Vanessa's face. Vanessa lost all the strength her body had. She quickly dropped down to her knees, body completely trembling with fear as her pale face looked up at Edlyn. "I-I-I-I-I." She started to say but Vanessa caught sight of Ariana's deadly gaze. It was cold and daunting, she involuntarily let out another squeak. "I'm so sorry! Please forgive me!" Vanessa shouted.

"It's alright." Edlyn said as she held her hands up in defense. "Edlyn you should really accept the young Miss Brenton's apology. It's not everyday that a n.o.ble can hang their head in shame." Talisha said with a sweet smile but the vein popping out above her right eyebrow was giving away her true temperament. "That's right Edlyn, you shouldn't be so reserved. Miss Brenton is being incredibly sincere right?" Halina asked as she put a protective arm around Edlyn. "So are you being sincere Miss Brenton?" Ariana asked as her eyes flashed with something more sinister. "Yes! Yes! Yes! I swear I deeply and sincerely apologize." Vanessa shouted as she bowed her head against the ground.
