Giselle asked glaring at the two figures standing in front of her.
Bridgette and Mike.
They both stood in the dark room staring back at the new arrival. It took a minute for Bridgette to respond.
"We're here to welcome you, Giselle. I must say that you look stunningly gorgeous today." Bridgette remarked.
When she urged Mike to speak up, the guy stood in silence refusing to react with his steady gaze upon Giselle. His firm vision invaded Giselle's armed ignorance, making her wobble from his gawking eyes that would easily swallow her onsight. Giselle felt intimidated of Mike than Bridgette.
Bridgette captured his mind-voice and snickered.
"Calm down Mike we haven't talked to her yet," Bridgette pointed out.
Mike averted his sight away from Giselle, literally making her feel the liberation from his confining eyesight.
Giselle appeared uncomfortable with the people in this room. Her eyes explored the entire place despite the blackness, searching for Jamie as informed. Her subconscious is unable to digest the unsettling supposition of Jamie playing a role behind this act.
No soul to be seen around except for these three. Giselle began to panic.
'It can't be-' she tripped.
The only possible solution to this situation is to leave the scene without encouraging a conversation. Giselle agreed. All of her instincts warned Giselle to exit the place considering the people and the position she's in right now. However, when Giselle prepared to leave, she saw Mike guarding the door, single-handedly.
Her feet came to a rest as she stared at the man guarding the door like security.
'When did he get there?'
'This is not good.'
'What are they planning?'
Giselle panted.
Her uneven breathing alarmed her. She stared Mike with a pleading gaze.
Mike almost wanted to trip but, his broken heart didn't let him do so. He stood there firmly without allowing Giselle to escape.
Bridgette has done an excellent job in manipulating Mike. Poor guy lost himself to the devil's trap.
…
It is then, Bridgette broke out into laughter. It made her happy to see Giselle struggling to escape the bear trap. She found it to be amusing.
'What do I do?'
Giselle might have served them as a slave but, she isn't a dummy. Instead of forcing herself to escape, she witted to play against Bridgette. In that way, she might find an opening to flee.
Bridgette noticed her stop trying. It ticked her off but, she didn't reveal it.
"Where's Jamie?" Giselle asked putting an upfront as in searching for the unavailable Jamie.
"Jamie?" Bridgette played along.
"Bridgette, I don't have time to play games with you. Jamie had asked me to help her with the-"
"Help her with the decorations?" Giselle's words were cut off by the blond girl.
Bridgette smiled.
"Yeah, that was our idea to lure you in here. Do you think you would have accepted my invitation, had I invited you? I don't think so."
"A well-planned bait, don't you think?"
'A bait?'
'To lure me here.'
Bridgette's explanation intimidated Giselle. The blond girl went far enough to plan this execution. Giselle worried for what might happen next.
"What do you want, Bridgette?" Giselle asked carefully hiding her fears deep inside. She can't let the enemy see her vulnerable.
Bridgette snorted from the girl's bold move.
"You don't understand the situation you're in right now, do you?" Bridgette smirked.
"I asked you a question," Giselle responded while fighting the fears surging inside her.
'Tsk' - Bridgette hissed.
'How long do you plan on to keep this act?'
'Do you think that I can't sense the fear wrecking your soul?' - Bridgette cursed within.
"Well, I can't allow you roam out there freely after what you had done to both of us," Bridgette said.
Giselle stood in confusion.
'Both of them?'- she whispered.
"You messed with me right in front of my friends and the others. You dared to throw food at me when it was us who taught you that little trick."
"Plus, you've insulted Mike when all he did was only to love you. You broke both of our hearts, and we want revenge."
"I can't leave you be, Giselle."
Bridgette stated one by one.
"What do you mean by that?"
"Mike?" Giselle called the guy who's guarding the door sincerely.
"What's going on?" She asked him.
Even before getting a reaction from Mike, Giselle got interfered by the blond girl. Bridgette knew that if she let Mike and Giselle talk for a few seconds, the guy would give up on the plan. She didn't want it. Bridgette had strained herself from provoking Mike against Giselle. She can't let all of her efforts go waste.
"I'm talking about how you called Mike's true feelings on you as disgusting."
Bridgette cunning words triggered Mike against Giselle.
Giselle glanced at Mike to see his intensifying glare focused on her. All of her nerves froze from the gruesome vision Mike held.
Bridgette smiled arrogantly for controlling the situation on her will.
"You want to get back at me. Alright, let's go to the cafeteria right now, and I'll give you the great opportunity to humiliate me in front of everyone. Happy?" Giselle responded; tossing the coin back to her.
Bridgette gaped at the offer which almost seemed tempting but not today.
Her plan should succeed.
"As much as arousing your offer is to me, I'm not that gracious to let you leave this place easily."
"Nice try, smart chick. Don't worry. I've already made the preparation." Bridgette said signaling Mike.
The blond girl went past Giselle and whispered something before leaving the room. Giselle's eyes traveled with the blond girl and Mike.
"Knock three times once done. I'll be out guarding you. Should I see someone else, I'll inform you immediately. Good Luck."
"And- Finish it soon. I don't like waiting."
Bridgette whispered and then fled the place.
It is now Mike and Giselle alone inside the room.
Giselle went crazy for the inescapable situation she got stuck.
