Alarmed and panicked, Edwin rushed out to discover little Lia standing front outside the door and screaming for her mother nonstop. Edwin's panic frightened him from a.s.suming if Giselle and Lillian got into an accident or so, but to his absolute awe, he found the two women near the main gate. Edwin squinted his eyes sharp to take notice and saw them kissing ardently. Lillian almost leaned herself against Giselle while the latter appears to stay still, yielding this to continue.
Edwin watched the kid witness this event to his worry and heard the child scream to call her mother, possibly hoping to end their expression of pa.s.sion already.
Not knowing how to handle the situation, Edwin heard one loudest scream from Lia, which affected him to his vicinity and successfully reached the two as intended. Edwin had to shut his ears for a few seconds to defend the resonance, and in those little moments, he noticed Giselle, after catching the voice, pushed Lillian abruptly and turned to see Lia.
Chaos!
It became chaos in an instant, and Edwin's anxieties reached the crest. His prayer appears to fail even without him hearing details from Lillian Grey.

Lia, after receiving her mother's attention, immediately fell into despair that she began to quiver all over while struggling to hold still. The little one saw her mother dread while the other's face dropped in the dullness.
Lia thought if she did the right thing or not, but she sincerely hoped that the scene of fright to cease already.
Meanwhile, Giselle, hastily having pushed away Lillian and breaking their kiss voluntarily, met Lia and felt a s.h.i.+ver running down her spine. Her body froze along with her heart that she ignored even to breathe. Within a short time, the lungs demanded the air, and Giselle puffed deeply. As soon as the breathing rose, the arrested heart pounded faster in doubt.
Giselle cringed if Lia heeded their kiss.
From the moment of beholding her child, Giselle forgot the person she drove a few seconds ago. Lillian's presence is no more valid to her attention, and she marched forward without a greet.
With every step, Giselle's suspicion strengthened as she observed the horrified look on Lia's face still rousing. The little girl seems to s.h.i.+ver physically from watching her mother approach.
Upon arriving at the front entrance, Giselle waited before the steps.
"Li" she called slowly, hands reached out tensely to hold the child and eager to explain her action at any second upon connection.
Nonetheless, the little one as soon as she heard her mother's voice jarred in fear and ran inside while ignoring the figure waiting back. She dashed away without a word, and it installed the most unexpected fright to the mother.
Even though Edwin was waiting behind Lia, Giselle did not spot him still and watched her child sped away in suspended silence.
Heartbroken in a flash, Giselle felt her body automatically moving towards the direction the child escaped, hoping to follow her, yearning to explain her, and finally wis.h.i.+ng to stop whatever is falling to separate them.
Edwin did not mind Giselle neglecting him as he understands. However, the one he worried deeply is his own daughter, who is still standing with her face facing the ground without a flinch.
Lillian heard the child's scream as well, and seeing Giselle push her away, despite the greedy sadness of breaking their first kiss, Lillian received a mental blow of mixed emotions, nothing that pacified her but let alone tormented her state. The deep worry of her behavior with Giselle getting witnessed by Giselle's child, who possibly never knew anything, killed Lillian from within following Giselle's retire. She stayed silent and still until heard another faint voice of Giselle calling Lia, and the immediate flying little footsteps, which might be Lia's, only a.s.suming that the kid ran away without even addressing a word.
'I made a mistake!' - Lillian cursed herself.
Once the sound all settled, and no more of any cry could anyone hear, Lillian moved. She kept her gaze fixed on the ground as she walked, and at reaching the entrance, noticed another pair of legs.
"I'm not saying what you did is wrong, but did you even consider the circ.u.mstance?"
Lillian heard Edwin say to her shame.
However, like Giselle, Edwin saw his daughter hurting. As the parent he was, always supporting his child and giving her love endless, he didn't utter words anymore to add to the guilt. Instead, he held Lillian over the shoulders and gently took her inside the home to the kitchen and let her sit down to rest a bit.
Lillian sat in worry, despair, and complete self-hatred. She never hated herself in life until this moment, where her decision ended up displeasing herself. The first time in life, she felt worse as well as the first time she felt like killing herself for committing such act without consideration.
Out of all the worries, she could possibly manifest, the one that topped is the chances of Giselle abandoning her yet again. Only this time, Lillian noticed the drop in her spirit and strength, of no more hope, began to dwell in her heart.
'This is it for me!' - She cried, finally letting out the tears of regret.
Edwin watched Lillian quietly sob. Flood of tears rained down her cheeks with her hands supporting her dropped head, and the other shutting her mouth tight from letting a sound out.
Noiselessly, she broke down in front of Edwin, who let her do so over keeping it to herself.
