Get Back To You 43 "Wake Up, Jake!!!" - Anna Struggles

Meanwhile at 'Anna and Jake's House' -

"Jake... wake up. you will be late for work."

"Jake?"

"Jake, if you don't wake up right now, I'm going to pour water on your face. It's cold as Ice."

"Jake!!!"

Anna trying to wake up her drunken husband for the last ten minutes. She didn't get any response. Jake was sound as sleep. Anna was aware that the previous week, Jake had a lot of work and meetings. It's natural for him to feel tired and wanting to sleep more. But, this looks bad. He's drunk from last night's party at Giselle's. Now, he's still sleeping even though the guy wakes up every day at 6 AM to workout religiously. Anna tried every possible way to wake up her husband. Except for the final trump card, pouring water on his face.

"Jake? wake up. I'm gonna pour some cold water soon if you don't."

"..."

"Fine. Alright. I don't care..." As Anna was about to pour some cold chill water on Jake's face. Jake woke up from his sleep suddenly. Anna felt relieved. She didn't want to do this. But somehow she felt rea.s.sured.

Jake opened his eyes and blinked a few times. He then looked at himself; half naked with no s.h.i.+rt, his finely toned body was out. you can see his abs clearly. He had only briefs on him and nothing else. Suddenly, he felt cold. He covered himself in the blanket and looked out. He saw Anna next to the bed with her hand holding a gla.s.s of water. He was quick enough to figure out the situation. His eyes changed from 'feeling sleepy' to 'glaring at Anna'.

On the other hand, Anna was raged. She's furious now. Not only Jake had woke up from his eternal sleep but he still wrapped himself in the blanket. Maybe not so good. She glared back to him.

Their eyes spoke to each other:

"you were planning to pour water on my face, right? my dear wifey"

"Apparently, yes. because the sleeping beauty is not waking up even after the kiss, my handsome prince"

Jake couldn't hold it in anymore. After getting eye-confronted, he smiled like a child appealing to his wife for such trouble early in the morning. In return, Anna can't handle her man being all silly anymore. She went in and gave him an early morning gentle kiss. Jake pulled her into his blanket and started sleeping again. Anna went along because she knew it ain't for sleeping but something else. She smirked.

After an early morning quick love, the couple are now ready to start their day. Anna was preparing Breakfast and Jake was getting ready for work. He came out of his room. Anna looked at him:

Nicely showered. His cologne -manly but also welcoming. His sleek straight hair was groomed using the gel. His perfect face with mesmerizing Jawline had no trace of hair - clean shaved. Jake wore a blue blazer today. It fitted his toned body and made him look professional and elegant. An overall for his aesthetics.

Anna welcomed him to have breakfast. Despite their famed status and rich-cla.s.s lifestyle, Jake and Anna were living inside their own normal yet simple life. They loved spending some quality time together. Regardless of their busy schedule and work life, Jake and Anna vowed to eat their breakfast and dinner together. Lunch can be entangled with work life. But their breakfast and dinner is something personal and family time, which cannot be replaced by anything.

"This is why I tell you not to drink so much... Do you any idea how we got back home last night?" Anna spoke first.

"Umm... my beautiful wife took us back home together." Jake made a heart sigh as a token of apology.

"Forget it. I can't win against your love." Anna replied looking down, blus.h.i.+ng.

"Sorry, babe. It's only with our family and close friends that I can be myself and have some drink to relax. Elsewhere, I'm photographed or can be judged for being drunk - uncomfortable!!! In fact, I enjoyed the party last night." Jake shared.

"Yeah, you enjoyed a lot and I can see it." Anna mocked at him.

Jake laughed as he continued eating his breakfast. Soon after eating their breakfast, Jake was done getting ready to leave. But before he did, he called his wife Anna and asked her to sit down for a quick chat. He had something on his mind; something serious that he wanted to talk to Anna from last night's party.
