Chapter 35: Finally, the Magic Exam Begins.

Okay, going to start and do my staple. The cheat sheet on the top, it will eventually grow to include new characters and appearances.

Fari von D’azell . Previously Nanjou Yukiho, nicknamed Yuki by Kami. 

Is currently 10 years of age. Ruby red long wavy hair and striking gold eyes not fitting her age.

Kami-sama, or also known as Kamille. Is a girl that looks 12 but is a G.o.d. Has silver hair and red eyes.

Also Fari always uses, 私 aka female p.r.o.noun watas.h.i.+.

Father is Gilbert Von D’azell. Master warrior.

Rigurett Beuze Crausus: Long blond silky hair, blue eyes. Uses 2 bayonet guns, and is really good at magic, four attribute magic.

There were two examiners waiting for us once we entered the room.

“Miss Rigurett. This is the only time we will allow for such a special case.”

“Yes, Of course. I understand that it’s not good to use the power of my family name to often.”

“. . .If that’s the case, then resend this request for this exemption.”

“That’s an impossible.”

After that little talk. Rigurett-san walked forward alone.

She needs to stand at a fixed position and aim at the targets. There is an X marked with red lines, showing where she must stand. 

Once she stood there, the atmosphere around her suddenly changed.

I noticed her magical power swelling. Like a glow around her, the magic became more visible.

She was concentrating a lot. Her sharp eyes then aiming at the targets. 

It’s not like when she was fighting the golems. Her magic and fighting spirit is increasing so much. I can’t help but feel nervous.

“- – -Begin!”

Right when the examiner started the test, Rigurett-san created several light b.a.l.l.s.

That magic is called Blitz. It’s a magic that can be used in all attributes. For example, you can create a fire Blitzs if you use the flame attribute, or Plasma Blitz if you know the electric attribute.

It is a spell that shoots magic bullets at a target of your choosing.

It’s not usual to produce more than one of it. However, experts can control lots of Blitzs (Blitzies?) in battle.

. . .Also, I was taught all of this by Kami-sama.

Rigurett-san created 12 Blitz b.a.l.l.s. They were a mix of different attributes. So 4 were a type of elements, and another set was a different one.

Then one by one, the b.a.l.l.s went flying.

It each balled destroyed several targets.

Not only were the numbers that each hit impressive, but the power of it was amazing. The targets were all completely obliterated without a trace. However the targets did soon regenerate.

More so than that. Rigurett-san conjured all of these Blitz b.a.l.l.s silently.

It’s not too difficult to use Blitz . . .But the numbers and control she has of all of them is beyond common sense.

She is operating 12 Blitz in parallel, while completely constantly conjuring more silent.

What an amazing technique.

After about 30 seconds. Rigurret-san’s score was already over 100.

However something changed after this.

After awhile,The colors of the targets changed.

I didn’t know what that meant so I looked at some of them with super search. . . The colors on each one seem to be tied to magic resistance.

So when red pops up. It’s resistant to fire. Yellow equals earth. And green equals wind. 

In other words. There are now targets that are resistant to one or more of her magical spells.

Of course it doesn’t mean it’s fully immune. Just more difficult to break.

But blitz is a magic that give off a lot of destructive power.

Also Rigurett-san has a magical power level over 1,600.

Without much trouble. She simply ignored the resistance of each and destroyed the targets one by one. 

The force behind her magic is so strong.

Eventually at the 10 second mark. Rigurett-san was finally having some difficulty destroying targets. Her pace also slowed down. She was still doing really well, but her pace was cut in half.

“- – -Time!”

Rigurett-san stopped her magic right when the examiner raised her voice.

At the same time. All of the targets destroyed by her were formed once again.

“Your score was 183. That’s a great score, even better than the last exam.”

“That’s no surprised. I have been training every day and night. It’s only natural that I’ll get a better score.”

She had proud expression. Then she grinned at me.

“Finally, it’s time to see what my companion can do.”

“Oh, are you ready?”

“Hah. . . Yes.”

It’s finally time. For my turn.

Chapter 36: Fari Gets Serious.

Rigurett-san and I switched places. Now I was standing ontop of the red X.

I looked at over at Rigurett-san.

Apparently she went all in on her test.

She looked really tired, as she pressed her back up against the wall.

It’s proof that she is serious about this compet.i.tion with me.

If that’s the case- – -I’ll be serious as well.

There are no other people here, so I’ll do my best.

I removed all the seals that I can control.

So I checked my status with Super Search

I was completely taken aback by my own stats.

I knew that my magical talent is by far the best. . . but, these numbers are ridiculous.

It completely dwarfs Rigurett-san’s stats.

I understand that my training with Papa was quite intense. . .but still, I can’t image a 10-year old girl having these stats.

{Because you unsealed your magical apt.i.tudes, your potential is being drawn out~. So now is more than double that of original Yukii’s stat.}

Kami-sama said that with a cheeky voice.

Sadly, I can’t use my punishment stick on her.

Well anyways. I’m ready to be serious.

I awaited the examiner’s command.

“And- – -Begin!”

Right when she gave the signal I created a huge number of Blitz b.a.l.l.s.

I don’t know how many, but maybe over 30.

While controlling all of them, I activated another spell.

I used super search.

The time between targets reappearing after being destroyed varies.

So with super search, I can detect when the target will resp.a.w.n and hit them instantly with Blitz.

This way, I save time from having to actually wait for them. 

My score reached 100 in 10 seconds. It’s more than double Rigurett-san’s pace.

At that time, the targets colors started to change to their resistance. Apparently it’s not based on time, but when 100 targets are destroyed. 

In response to this, I started to control which attributes I had in each Blitz ball. I will make full use of my magical apt.i.tude of 8 attributes, and use them to accurately hit each target.

Honestly, my magical power is probably enough to destroy any target regardless of its resistance.

However I’ll choose each Blitz attribute to accurately counter each individual target.

Instead of brute forcing it. It’s better for me to show my skill in this exam.

Besides- – -Even if it’s only just a little bit of it. I was Rigurett-san to know my strength.

So I’m going to be showing all my 8 attributes and skillfully aim them.

Without my pace or momentum changing, the minute eventually pa.s.sed.

“- – -Time!”

Right when I heard the examiner’s voice, I erased all of my Blitz.

“The score was. . .438. I never heard of anything like this. Even the school’s magical department staff wouldn’t be able to get that far. . .”

“Ahaha. . .”

Well I did have an insane advantage with my 8 attributes. Along with my use of an OP super search. 

However, I’m still exhausted.

My use of magic wasn’t the problem. I have plenty of mana left. But my head is mush from the amount of concentration I had to have for super search and controlling Blitz at the same time.

After that I staggered over to Rigurett-san. Trying to keep my balance.

“Well, Rigurett-san~ I tried~.”

However then I noticed something was off about her.

She was smiling,but it didn’t feel like one with kindness.

. . .Rather excitement. You could feel her fighting spirit ooze out of her.

“- – -I see. Surely this is a test that the G.o.ddess has gifted me. Because I was getting too self-confident with my talent. Because of that, I was gifted a rival that I must exceed.”(TN:She is Vegeta.)

She was saying some incomprehensible stuff.  I have no idea about what’s going on.

“Fari!”

“Hyaa!?”

“It’s a duel!”

After she declared that, Rigurett-san pointed her bayonet at me.

h.e.l.lo. So we can kinda of see a hint at what Rigurett-san will be for the story. She will probably be a rival. A one sided rivalry. Also it was only two chapters because of context. The next chapters are related to each other.

Next chapter in 3-5 days. My pace has slowed down because I’ve been going to sleep earlier. It’s the price that must be payed for sleep though.
