Chapter 3: The Fellow Named Nanjou Yukiho

I am interesting?

I thought back to what my daily life is usually like to try and figure out why she would think that.

Certainly I am a little more p.r.o.ne to having weird stuff happen around me.

For example, during my part time job yesterday, my store manager was apologizing to an irate customer.

However then suddenly, the customer grabbed the manager's hair.

The manager's hai- – -well wig came right off.

Then the manager grabbed the customer's hair. Err well.

They both had wigs.

It was such a strange situation, I couldn't help but laugh.

However I think that's where I went wrong. The customer and Manager both Judo chopped me, and then they starting to both get irate on me.

Honestly, stuff like that has been happening around me for awhile.

Well, it's not like I don't have a tendency to get myself into trouble either. . .

Because, well, how should I put this. When I meet people, I kinda sometimes sound awkward.(というのも、僕は時おり突拍子もないことを言い出すというか、考えるというか)(TN:Trying to try.)

I sometimes go off track from what people usually say. Also I attract weird people.

One of my friends was called a "Psychopath" Another friend was just called strange or "eccentric."

So in short, I'm disliked by people for being weird, while conversely being liked by strange people for being “off”.

So for a long time I have often felt troubled.

But that doesn't mean I'm the most interesting person on the planet. There are plenty of people on TV who are way more interesting.

People living on an entirely different scale from me, like rich people, famous athletes, or movie stars. Those people must have amazing lives, surely they would be much better candidates. (TN:Probably why most reincarnation story starts with the person being born rich.)

So I really don't understand.

I don't think I'm that fascinating.

"Umm. . .G.o.d?"

"Yes? What is it?"

"You actually think I'm interesting?"

"Yes. The most interesting in fact. Out of the whole world you are the best, I guarantee it."

Well, it is G.o.d saying it, but still. I'm not fully convinced. For now, I'll just put my doubts on hold.

"Well. . .So what are the specifics with reincarnation?"

Finally, the real question.

TN here. I could honestly crank these chapters out in like 1 to 2 days. Like 4 or 5 chapters combined is 1 "When I was" chapter. Anyways here it is. I'm not fully sure on what I should do with this novel, but I'll put out a bit more so we can have a grasp on what it is like. Mostly it's me trying to get used to the writing style, also I'm a bit hesitant because of the character supposedly being overpowered, and I'm not a huge fan of that, but we'll see if that really even matters. I'm not dropping "When I was", or I'm still thinking about it. Somebody said I should at least finished that mini-arc. So maybe I will, but for now this is kinda a little break for me.

Anyways, next chapter in 1 or 2 days. Then I'm not sure if I'll do another one or a "when I was just" chapter. Tbh, it's just kinda of a breather for me right now, compared to "when I was". These chapters are so short and not a wall of text. So it's kinda nice.
