Princess Lyn: Fleeting Dreams 474 I Really Like You

"What do you mean I cant see the Princess right now?" Pupillam exclaimed.

"We are sorry mam, but Prince Ralph instructed this."

Pupillam frowned when she heard those words. Prince Ralph is it? She quickly turned away and marched down the hallway. She did not understand what this feeling was. The Princess master is Prince Ralph, so it should not bother her if they are together right now. But Prince Andrew said that Prince Ralph would be with him the entire day. 

Whenever Prince Ralph is involved, so is that man called Rhys.  It cant be right? She has a bad feeling.

As Pupillam walked down the hallway, she spotted somebody familiar. Ah?!! Her eyes widened alarmed.

Meanwhile back with Rhys and Lyn

Rhys looked at the girl who said she would prepare him a meal. He told her that she did not have to but Lyn would not have it. Due to the current situation with the magic infusion, Rhys knew her eyesight was still bad. He hugged her from the back and kissed her pretty neck.

"You can cook?"

"I was bad at it before but I am getting better now."

"I see, but can you see okay?"

"Mmm." Lyn nodded. "It has gotten better now."

"Stop that for a moment." Rhys said.

Lyn turned off the stove and turned to him, she wrapped her arms around his neck. "What is it?"

"I want to kiss you again."

What is with her? Why does he feel like kissing her all the time? Rhys didn't wait for a reply before he pressed his lips against hers. He no longer has to pry her mouth open since Lyn does it for him.

"Lyn."

'Do you like me?' Rhys wanted to ask her but he refrained from doing so.

"Rhys, I think we should go back. It would be bad if we do something here." She mumbled.

"You think so?"

"Yes."

Rhys points to the food, "It would be waste. Finish that first."

"Then okay."

Somehow something is different about her these days. Lyn traced his lips. "Rhys, do you want to take a bath? You look sweaty."

d.a.m.n, did he get that worked up? Rhys nodded. "Is it okay for me to use yours?"

Lyn laughed. "I wouldn't call it mine. I'm not used to the room they gave me in the main palace yet.

"

Rhys kissed her forehead. "Then I will go, do you want to join me?"

An awkward burst of laughter escaped her lips. "I have to finish cooking remember? I will find you a change of clothes and leave it outside the door."

"Yeah, thanks."

Droplets of water fell from the shower and Rhys sighed as he thought about the events since last time. 

What on earth was he thinking? How could he do something like that to Lyn? Is he crazy? What happened to waiting… Just because she is drunk does not mean he should take advantage of her. Last night aside what was he thinking doing it again earlier? What gave him the confidence to do something like that to her?

The flow of water dripped down from his hair to his body and Rhys slammed his fist onto the wall, causing a small crack to form.

He did that with Lyn and she responds more naturally now. But is this what he wanted? Is this how he wants to win her over?

His thoughts broke off when she spotted her silhouette from the entrance.

"S--sorry!" Lyn apologized. "I thought you closed it."

"Did you bring it?"

"Yes."

Despite her earlier confidence she turns into a mess when she is around him. He walked over to her and slammed his hands against the wall, cornering her. Steam covered the entire room. But Lyn still kept her gaze off him like he was some sort of plague. Rhys frowned. "Look at me."

"You know I can't."

Why can't she? "Because Im naked?"

"Rhys.."

Rhys brought his lips to her neck and started to kiss and suck on her pretty skin. "Lyn."

"My clothes will get wet if I stay here."

"Then take it off."

The girl did not respond and he tugged on her dress. "Princess Lyn." He mumbled.  "I'm a dangerous man, I think you should stay away from me."

"Isn't this warning a bit too late?"

Rhys laughed. "Indeed." Still, she is far too careless. "Lyn, do you want to do it with me?"

"Eh." 

"I mean, your first time. Is it okay if it's me?"

At that comment Lyn looked down. "How did you find out?"

"Based on your reaction last night." Rhys mumbled. If she weren't a virgin, she wouldn't react that way. Even if Kazuya is innocent too, if they did it, he would have touched her there. But he recalled how she seemed uncomfortable and didn't know what to do.

It surprised him but at the same time he understood. Kazuya is the type of person who would treasure and wait for her. 

"So, can it be me?"

For the first time since she entered the shower, Lyn looked at him. He couldn't decipher what she thought or what went on in her mind. But, the girl didn't leave the room.

Silence turned into minutes before he felt a pair of arms wrap around his neck. "I am very tired Rhys."

After that peculiar moment in the shower. Rhys thought it would be too awkward but Lyn surprised him by placing the dishes on the table. "Hey, let's eat on the couch."

Lyn nodded. "Okay."

He brought her into his arms and kept kissing her neck. "Lyn, tell me if this becomes too much for you. I am aware of my position."

He maybe a prince, but her status is far higher.

"Your position?"

"Yeah."

"Do you like me as a Princess Rhys or do you like me as Lyn?" 

Rhys blinked when he heard those words.

'What a foolish girl.' "I like both of you, as a Princess and as Lyn. For me, it's the same thing."

At that comment he noticed the tears in the girls eyes and he chuckled. "Don't tell me this was bothering you?"

"Don't get angry but I thought I was only a tool of revenge for you." 

A tool of revenge huh? Rhys could see why Lyn would think that way. However, he brushed his lips against her ear. "If I wanted to use you as a tool, I would have done it with you already. The reason why I'm putting myself through this torture is because I really like you."
