"Haha…" Letting out an amused laugh, he left the room quietly.

Nighttime arrived, but the golden beauty was still fast asleep. Virus had long covered her tempting figure with a blanket. Now, he had to sleep too, but his room was the only one with a bed and decoration.

So, currently, while taking a short glimpse of her motionless yet peaceful face, he murmured, "We need to prepare a room for Lil Belle now… she's going to require sleeping from this moment onwards, just like me." A gentle glow glimmered through his eyes at this point as he continued, "Contrary to the past when she always used to protect me… from now on… I need to protect her from any harm instead."

Since the golden beauty didn't need to sleep before, neither he nor the golden beauty had bothered to prepare a room for herself. And that's why she could only sleep on Virus' bed for the moment.

"Ahhhhh…" A scream startled Virus into snapping out of his slumber very early in the morning.

Immediately gazing beside himself toward the source of the scream, he spotted a dumbfounded golden beauty who kept moving her hands into different directions while staring at them like they were the most amazing objects in the whole world.

"You scared me!" Said Virus helplessly while watching her flabbergast movements.

"Uh… sorry, master… I just woke up too! Look at me, I can move my body!" Then, making a fist, she added further, "I can feel my body too!"

"No… not just them… I'm feeling so much more now!" Muttering this, she went quiet entirely.

Around thirty seconds later, while resuming to gaze toward her hands, she started talking once again, "It's as if I've always felt cold and dead… but now, I'm finally feeling warm and alive… it's simply… too comfortable and cozy! It's as if I've just truly opened my eyes to the world for the very first time!"

"Haha… yeah, I understand the feeling. I went through the same thing when I first entered my own biological body, it was the most marvelous sensation. It makes one wonder how he or she had been tolerating such a fake and artificial life prior to entering the biological body."

Still sunken into that deep state of marvel and magnificence, she murmured in a low tone, "Is this soul?"

Catching the question, shaking his head, he started talking on his own accord, "To be honest, I'm not sure. But I doubt we have any soul, to begin with. So the answer to that's probably 'no'. It's most likely because of having true and natural chemicals, nerves, different senses, etc. within your body that's creating this illusionary feeling of being truly alive. Though it's not wrong either, since prior to today, basically, you weren't alive in a true sense."

Comprehending his words, the golden beauty didn't say anything and instead just nodded her head repet.i.tively.

"How do you feel generally?" He inquired in an easy-going style.

"Great!" She said without any delay.

"I'm talking about your AI capabilities… how do they feel? Have you weakened by a large margin?" Looking at his face rather seriously, Virus asked.

"Hmm… lemme see." She immediately closed her eyes in order to test various functions of her brain, for instance, her thinking process.

Around a minute pa.s.sed when, at last, opening her eyes, she started talking, "The most noticeable change is that I can't augment my thinking and processing speed by that much. In the past, when I used to increase my thinking speed, it felt as if the whole world was in slow-motion… it was to the point that even my powerful artificial body couldn't react to it. In short, everything was simply… super slow!" Not stopping there, however, she continued, "But now… it's normal… everything's nearly normal. Even though it feels like both my mind and body had been constrained even further… but even that feels natural now… as if that's how it should have been in the first place. It's indeed a strange feeling."

Nodding his head as if he had already expected all of it, Virus started phrasing, "That's right, it feels natural like that because your mind and body are almost in sync now as they are around the same level! But… your body and mind are still out of a perfect state of synchronization because although your perception of time is a lot slower now, it should still be somewhat faster than what a normal person feels."

Next, he stated casually, "Increase the speed of your mind to its utmost limit, then try moving your hand at the fastest momentum you can."

Doing as she was told, the golden beauty promptly escalated the tempo of her mind. The world instantly slowed down by a little. Afterward, without any hesitation whatsoever, she tried moving her hand.

Next, as she was finished trying the process, she exclaimed, "Oh, that's right! It almost feels like I'm trying to move my hand within a pool… though it's not as bad as that since the pace of my mind isn't that fast anymore, it's still similar to before somewhat, just on a much, much... smaller scale!"

"Bingo. You see, although you can't come close to comparing to your previous state, you are still superior to other ordinary humans and that's going to be one of your advantages from now on." He confirmed audibly.

Changing his line of sight all of a sudden, Virus muttered, "Also…"

Seeing him not proceeding with his words any longer, the golden beauty questioned doubtfully, "What is it, master?"

"Are you now gonna dress up? Or do you intend to stay n.a.k.e.d like this?" Voiced Virus as an evil grin crept on his face.

"AHHHH…!" Promptly, a resounding shriek reverberated all around the floor as she pulled the blanket into covering her previously half-n.a.k.e.d body.
