The Writer's Romance 28 The Tour

"Yes, I know," Bea brushes her hair as Sheen enters the Reporter's lounge, it was not entirely for reporters only, but it is where most of the company's reporters gather.

It had every need for relaxations, ma.s.sage chairs, beverage counter, sofas and such.

"What happened to your hair?" Sheen asks while pointing at the uneven cut of Bea's hair.

There were other people having coffee while laying or sitting on the sofas.

They all have their own chats without noticing Bea's hair.

Bea just grumpily brushes her hair which had became mini bangs since it was above her eyebrows.

Bea sighs as she grows tired of brus.h.i.+ng and wis.h.i.+ng that it would turn back to normal.

Sheen just patiently waits for Bea's irritation to subside as she sits beside her cousin.

"A kid, I don't know whose, wanted to play with me. So I did since I have too much time in my hands, but suddenly I just saw my hair fall! I didn't see that he was going to cut it because I was tying his shoe-tie!" Bea stumps in angry while puffing her face, catching the other people's attention.

"Come on, let go to the salon, and let's get that fixed up!" Sheen stands up, waiting for Bea.

People were already murmuring about how she'd look on the T.V. later.

Bea doesn't have time to go out, she had too many things to do.

"Ugh, I hate this," Bea buried her face on her hands.

"What about, let me fix it for you?" Sheen is still standing, she just feels comfortable in the company that she thinks she's been there for too long.

"Why are you here? How'd you get here?" Bea didn't answer Sheen's question.

"Well, I asked where you are, so yeah, I found you!"

"What? You asked the whole company where I am? Did you see a cute redhead guy with gla.s.ses?" Bea's face suddenly lights up with a smile.

But she still looks funny with her uneven bangs.

"Yeah, that's Dan, right? He helped me carry Mr. White's breakfast earlier," Sheen answers while smirking with Bea's question and reaction.

"Yeah, glad you met your future cousin-in-law," Bea proudly said.

She got a triumphant smile on her face, almost forgetting about her bangs.

"Oh~" Sheen sat beside Bea and softly pushes her, "He's your boyfriend?"

"Yes!" Bea proudly nods.

"So, getting married someday?"

"Yes!"

"Let me fix your hair?"

"Yes! Wait, what?"

After getting a random scissor, of course, it's not good for the hair, but it's good for her public reputation later on the reporting, Bea lets Sheen fix her hair while praying for the G.o.ds to lend Sheen talent with hair cutting.

"Ta~Da!" Sheen took her phone and took a photo of Bea's face with the fixed bangs since they don't have a mirror at the moment.

"Wow, you did great! Wait, let me check. You might've used an app to make me look pretty with bangs!" Bea opened Sheen's phone's front camera.

"Oh, it really fits me!" Bea brushes the bangs and took almost a hundred selfie on Sheen's phone.

"So, why're you here? Don't have anything to do?" Bea brushes her clothes to get rid of the cut hairs that feel.

"Uh, Mr. White lets me have a tour of the building, but I don't know anyone other than you to tour me. I don't want to bother Dan, we're not that close," Sheen returned the scissors and comb to a box.

It has typical needs that someone might need.

"So, where do you want to go?" Bea stands up and started to walk to the door leading to an office, "Your hair's growing longer, do you want to keep the short hair?"

"Huh?" Sheen touched her hair, it was a bit lower than her collar bone, "No, I'll let it grow longer maybe."

"Anyways, this is the comic department, you see wild artists there who are occupied by their imaginations," Bea points to a group of people drawing to the right side of the room.

The office is full of arts hanged in the wall.

You can see that there are figurines on the table and counters.

"You like art, right? Want me to hook you up with someone?" Bea's eyebrows wiggles.

"What?" Sheen pushes Bea who steps closer to her, "No, thanks."

"Aw, what a shame. It's Mr. Louis, the employee of the month. Most of his comics were sold out during the first day of release," Bea wraps her arm around Sheen's shoulder and points at a tall man talking to a guy.

"That's him, the BINGO of this department."

Sheen just went with Bea, she looks at the guy.

'Tall, strong features, the eyes- yes, his eyes shouts bad boy charisma! A male lead who's bound to make the readers have the Second Lead Syndrome!' She excitedly thoughts without noticing that Louis is already in front of fer and she's staring straight to his eyes.

She jolted and almost feel down if Bea's not holding her.

"Easy there, it's just a hot guy," Bea laughs while patting Sheen's back.

'De javu,' she thought while remembering this happened before with Wyn.

"Is this your cousin, Bea?" Louis asks while holding papers with drafts on them of a muscular monster.

"Yep, Louis, this is Sheen," Bea started to introduce her to Louis who's just smiling at her.

'Gosh, he might thought I'm all over him. Professionalism, Sheen.'

Sheen stretches her hand for a shake which Louis accepted.

She got surprise with the grip of Louis, it's not that strong but you can feel that he's glad to meet her.

Unlike some high positioned people who thinks the other party's hand is somewhat the dirtiest thing.

"Hi, Miss Sheen. You're the President's a.s.sistant, right? Nice to meet you," he still smiles at her which made Sheen daze off because he is really handsome, the type Sheen would love to see everyday.

"Oh~ look who's staring attentively," Sheen's taking into note his features just in case she might need a reference for a handsome guy.

"Nice to meet you, Sheen. I have to finish this character. See you around," Louis waves his hand and went to his desk.

Sheen still follows him as he sits.

Her eyes shouts what she's thinking, "Good character reference? What type?" Bea asks.

She knows that when Sheen stares at someone, it's because she likes them to be in a story.

Or that they are story worthy characters that she might write.

"Male Lead, you know the bad ones at first and then you'll hate them, but suddenly they'll fall in love with the female lead when you're already rooting for the second male lead?"

They are already on the hallway outside the office, Bea's planning to take Sheen on the first department which is the Magazine Department and introduce her to the employees.

"Oh, I see. Yeah, I kind of got that vibe now that you said it, he does look like those characters."

They then went on to each of the departments and Bea enthusiastically introduce Sheen to everyone.
