THE CEO's LOVE 101 A New Face, A New Master.

The days went by quickly, Xueyan was busy studying her scripts and Xiujun was always around to help her.

She no longer worked at the hotel, she had only worked for a total of four weeks and got paid and now, she was about to feature in a drama that will fetch her endors.e.m.e.nts and lots of cool money. Then she'd be able to take Qingran around the globe and send her parents to overseas.

And finally, she'd be able to catch her biggest enemy. With power she'd be able to give herself justice. And then a good life after.

The heaven is now on her side and there's hope.

"It's lunch time. Come eat." With a pitched voice, Xiujun called out to Xueyan. She seemed deeply engrossed or so they thought. Not knowing she had gone from studying to a world of peace.

A smile on her face told them she was satisfied with the scripts.

"Is the drama that good?" Xiujun turned to ask the chairman. "She has to go through so many hards.h.i.+ps just to reach her destination... I don't really like the drama."

"You didn't have a problem when it was Ru Fangxi that had to go all through that hards.h.i.+ps..." The veins on the Chairman's head bulged.

"I don't care about her. I care for Xueyan. You see that tender smile, I never want it to be fake. I never want to see her unhappy. She deserves the world if it will make her happy." Xiujun stood and went to restroom to wash his hands. "Chairman, you care for your wife. You don't want her life to be hard so you sent her overseas with your children..."

"That is understandable," the Chairman cut in. "At least we're married and share a mutual feeling; love."

Xiujun scowled. "It's the same then,"

The Chairman sighed. "How in the world is it same?"

Xiujun strode out. "It's the same thing; love."

The Chairman didn't know whether to cry or laugh. "You were so bent on changing the female lead... I hope you'd be there to stand by her always. To make sure she's far away from harm. There are lot of evil going on in the entertainment circle. I don't think she will be able to fight it all alone."

"Why do I have Jingtang?" Jingtang had just pushed the door to the Chairman's office when he heard that. "He will be there for her always. He has always been here for me."

Jingtang face contorted in sadness. "What do you mean Xiu?"

"Oh, you're here. You heard that? You should always protect Xueyan." He took a bite from the chicken in his hand. "Mmm. This is yummy. Madam Fu is so good! I would have married her to be my cook if she wasn't older."

"..."

"..."

The two other people in the room was speechless.

"Go in there and call her," Xiujun pointed to the secret room. Jingtang went forward to do as commanded.

There she was, sitting quietly. Like a little innocent child. This woman had a very bad back story. But now, she's a new face that he believed the netizen would soon fall in love with. She possessed a sweet and pure nature. And also...a new master for him to acknowledge.

Why must he be the one to protect her? She should have gotten herself a good backing. Xiujun won't be enough to do that, because they are a lot of cunning and sick people here. He had been waiting for Ru Fangxi's chaotic entrance ever since a letter was sent to her, letting her know she had been switcher from the female lead to the second female lead. But the young lady was yet to react, he wondered what plans she had in mind...because he had to be one step ahead. Or else, with a little act of anger in the President's presence will send him to his early grave.

He sighed and then called for Xueyan but she didn't turn nor answer. He repeated himself again there was still no answer.

He went forward and tapped her on the shoulder. And a lost Xueyan flinched. Her head snapped to him.

"I've been behind you for a minute or more... You should always keep your guard up or they will knock you down easily. You shouldn't be a bone in the throat." Jingtang frowned. "Anyways, its lunch time. You should eat more... We don't want you losing your breath."

"I..."

It's for your good." Jingtang cut in sharply. "Come have lunch."

He went out and Xueyan followed behind. The walls closed.

The Chairman seemed restless with him constantly closing his eyes.

"Are we eating all these?" Xueyan asked, her eyes almost falling out.

"Much right?" The Chairman's eyes glistened.

"You wish." Xiujun spat out. And immediately the Chairman's eyes went low.

"Xiujun, Xueyan, I don't know why but I'm restless..." He shut up when Xiujun glared at him.

"What is there to worry about?" Xiujun asked. But the Chairman didn't bother answering.

A knock on the door and all eyes turned. No one said anything until the door creaked open and Mei Han's head popped in.

There is another problem. He said referring to Mei Han.

"Mei Han, is anything the problem?"

Mei Han immediately strode in without being invited. "No, not exactly. Just that your costume are ready. Would you want to take a look?"

"Put them in your booth. She will have a look after eating." Xiujun said.

"Oh, okay?" Mei Han turned to walk out the door. Stopped in front of Jingtang only to pull him along.

Jingtang's face darkened but he didn't pull his hand back and allowed himself to be dragged away.

Xiujun and Xueyan continued eating until a phone rang. Xiujun felt around his pockets for it, stood up and went to the window to answer.

"Xueyan," the Chairman called. "Have you ever fought?"

Xueyan was taken aback by the question but still answered. "No,"

"Argh." The Chairman gritted his teeth. "Does that mean anyone can bully you? Huh? I don't want you getting in trouble but believe me, you won't be able to avoid it. So you really need to do some muscle training and freeze your heart. So not just anyone would be able to harm you."

A smile appeared on her face. And the Chairman had himself wondering why Xiujun was adamant on making her an actress.

He wasn't the only one that saw the smile. Xiujun's scrunched up face softened when he saw the smile. 'I must be bewitched by her truly.'

"Bye, I'm going." He hung up the call and couldn't help but imagine how that woman's face will contort in anger and then rage towards the President office. It made him smile. She should stop poking her head in his business.

It was two o'clock now, everyone had had their lunch. Xueyan with Mei Han by her side went down to Xiujun's floor. Where they had five booths for actors and actresses with a good background, but she was given one freely. Without stress.

She went into her booth and examined the cloth racks. It started from a gown, not too expensive for a princess that her father ruled a kingdom and then to rags...where she would experience brutality. And then to pants and fitted s.h.i.+rts for a male soldier... Then there was another cloth rack, it was filled with colourful Hanfus'.

She touched the fabrics, there were all soft and tender.

The three cloth racks was pushed to a corner. There was a table and mirror for her makeup. She would share Xiujun's makeup artist, according to him, he was very talented.

After checking everything and seeing it was all in order, they exited the booth and locked the door. Mei Han excitedly threw the key up and caught it.

There was a series of noise headed towards the booth area. Whispers as well as claps.

A sound of heel clicking against the tiled floor.

A young woman came into view, her face covered with bouquet of flowers.

Mei Han and Xueyan shared a look before deciding to leave.

"Oh, oh, oh. Are you that eager to disappear?" A voice asked from behind.

Xueyan and Mei Han at the same time turned.

A tall girl pushed through the crowds and stood beside the one covered with flowers.

The young woman pushed the flowers to Linda and dusted her body, even though it was evident she had no dirt on her.

She was dressed in gown above the knee, and flowers formed a crisscross on her handless gown.

She crossed her arms in front of her and smirked. "You must be the new female lead. Chosen by Young Master Xiujun, right?"

Xueyan knew that face. "Yes. I'm Bai Xueyan."

The name rang a bell as the young woman's smirk disappeared. "Whaat?"

Everyone poked there head for a juicy gossip.

"You're what?" The young woman asked.

"Bai... Xueyan." Xueyan purposely strained the names. "And you're..."

"Ru Fangxi!" She said not wanting Xueyan to call it. "The nations G.o.ddess."

"Whoa! That's right!"

"Look at that elegant pose. Fangxi is such a darling."

"And charming."

"Can't love her any less."

The crowd whispered. Fangxi heard it and a smile swept over her face.

"You're still new in here. You should seek blessing from your seniors. You shouldn't be all c.o.c.ky because you'd never last." Linda said after putting the flowers down on a couch nearby.

"Don't say that," Fangxi snorted. "She was given the t.i.tle of female lead. So I bet she's very good."

"Very good on bed." Someone muttered amongst the small crowd.

Mei Han's eyes widened. "Who..."

Xueyan put a hand up and Mei Han said nothing more.

"Oh, don't say something as nasty as that!" Fangxi looked behind her.

Xueyan knew the workers had been putting up with her and waiting for the right time to strike. Truth was that it tool time. She had expected it earlier and she was sure there were more to come.

She only smiled. "Miss Ru," Xueyan said softly. "Long time no see."

Gasps escaped the workers mouths.

"What does she mean by that?"

"Do they know each other?"

"Do you think she's from a reputable family?"

"Maybe, she knows Miss Ru."

Fangxi heard the discussions and wanted to yell for them to shut it. She maintained her cool and smiled. "Miss Bai..."

"It's been eight long years," Xueyan cut in sharply. Not giving Fangxi any chance to deny.

"Yeah? I don't seem to..."

"Tianqing high," Xueyan cut in yet again.

"Oh my, you heard that?"

"Tianqing high, that was Miss Ru's high school."

"Yes, even master Gong Xi."

"Qin Lun as well."

"A lot of our celebrity graduated from Tianqing high..."

"Does that mean Miss Bai went to Tianqing too?"
