"Are you sure it's just a pet cat?" Steve said.

"Human, how did you find this place?" Right then, a deep male voice boomed.

Steve was taken aback. Other than him, there was no one else in the room.

"Where are you looking? I'm talking to you," the deep male voice said.

Steve's gaze landed on the black cat nearby and saw that it was looking straight at him. The cat yawned and said, "Don't tell me that you want to s.n.a.t.c.h the owner's treasure?"

All at once, gooseb.u.mps rose on Steve's arms! His back was drenched with a cold sweat.

"A…a magical beast that can talk…" Steve's voice shook with fear.

Normal magical beasts could not speak the human language, so if one met with a magical beast who could, then it was either a magical beast with a cell activation level of 100% that was able to unlock the ability to speak, or it was already a level one magical beast, equivalent to a level one evolved being! Both of them thought that the white-flamed cat was the guardian beast of the tunnel, so they did not think too much about it. They only thought of how they could get rid of it and rush to bas.e.m.e.nt level two.

The white-flamed cat could not be bothered to track down Steve, as it only wanted to kill these two intruders in front of it, then feast on their flesh. Stuart took out an enormous silver s.h.i.+eld and held it in front of him, while Sofia hid behind him and avoided the fireb.a.l.l.s.

The sound of a huge collision rang out, as the both of them blasted the white-flamed cat away, causing a dent to appear in the s.h.i.+eld. Nevertheless, the two geniuses managed to come up with a plan quickly.

The two metal chains from Stuart's hands flew out and tangled themselves around the white-flamed cat's limbs, restricting its movements. Meanwhile, Sofia released eight throwing knives, two aimed at the ears, two aimed at the eyes, and the other four pinning down its paws.

However, the white-flamed cat was a boss level magical beast, so killing it was not going to be easy...

Steve walked towards the green container slowly, as he looked at the seven-colored egg inside it. He did not take action hastily.

"Someone infiltrated bas.e.m.e.nt level two and even stole the treasure." Stuart fumed, as he rushed towards bas.e.m.e.nt level two.

Sofia was furious, too.
