Chapter 26 - Ling Xuan Got Angry

“Who said no?” A middle-aged man with a mustache lamented. “If I were to deal with it today, I might have been in a panic. This Yun Family's Miss is really not simple!”

Mother Lin's words implied that Yun Ling Xuan had failed to comply with her mother's wishes, and was truly unfilial.

“Uncle He, do you think Mother Lin is wrong today?” Ling Xuan did not get angry but looked up to Uncle He who had his eyes closed all along.

“Mother Lin was wrong.” Uncle He's voice was neither loud nor soft. When he looked at Mother Lin's angry eyes, he smiled coldly, “Mother Lin, what is your status? Are you qualified to accuse Miss when she was talking to all the shopkeepers?” Mother Lin's behavior was indeed not likable.

Mother Lin's face changed and then retorted, “Miss is still young. Old Servant was just trying to give a kind reminder to avoid Miss from getting tricked or losing the businesses that master and mistress had left behind!”

That ‘loyal' look on Mother Lin's face had made Ling Xuan laughed. She finally knew how she had been tricked by Mother Lin. It was because of that look on her face. It could make a dead person come back to life. She was too young so she did not think too deep into it.
