CEO Xi grinned and patted Shen Yi’s shoulder before regarding the woman who was standing next to him.

“You are Lu Xinyi? Ah, you look better in person than seeing you on television.” The old man chuckled.

“Thanks for the flattery, CEO Xi.” Lu Xinyi forced herself to smile, but the moment her eyes landed on Xi Yunchuan, she could feel her shackles rising.

Xi Yunchuan didn’t seem he could be bothered to enjoy the event. His eyes were scanning the crowd as if he was looking for someone. Lu Xinyi sneered in her heart, knowing well who he was hoping to see in a crowd of people.
