"We must return to our ome in Folkvanger. They will be excited that you are returning home, Skola." The copper-haired woman says out loud. Her cold purple eyes staring down at me while I held onto Cade- or Dylan. She was wearing pretty armor much like what I was wearing, the golden plates making her b.r.e.a.s.t.s rise and her feathered skirt flowed around her.
The sword she had dangled against her thigh.
"Yes. I am not sure if Lady Odin will be happy to know she is still around with her Valkyrie power, but that is alright." The raven-haired woman smiles softly, though she clearly wore a necklace of teeth that looked scary. She wore a similar outfit to the bronze-haired, but hers was a slick silver that looked so Syfy.
Other than the copper-haired woman, she had a long spear and twin daggers strapped to her high boots that showed her tantalizing skin above.
"It's a good thing we are apart of Freya's war-maidens. Lady Odin does not need to know of the news so quickly." Another woman speaks up, her brown hair short as she nods at her outspoken thoughts.
She was wearing a tight bra with several knives all around her chest, legs, and arms. The woman was wearing what looked to be a bikini in the middle of winter. Which made no sense.
"You know Lady Odin. She knows everything before we know anything. I am surprised that not more Valkyries were called to the calling. You-"
"Um... Excuse m-me?" I squeak when all six of their purple gazes looked at me causing me to shrink further into Dylan. "W-Who are you all?" I ask them, unsure of who these women were as the stared at me as if I was stupid.
"What are you speaking of Skola? We are your sistren. It's me Agalana the sharpshooter." The woman with frizzy black hair speaks, the bow on her back along with all the small guns and gadgets emphasizing her name. Her feathered dress was the most covered up out of the women, but you could still see her legs and some of her cleavage.
"I-I'm sorry... B-But who is this S-Skola?" I question them, each of them sharing a look when my master snickered from the place he was tied up. His bruised faced terrorizing me while I backed further into Dylan's body. Not caring he lied to me right at the moment.
"Skola is dead. I killed her myself." My master laughs while Agalana and the copper-haired woman spun around and grabbed him from the ground.
"What are you talking about?! Skola is right there!" Agalana yells angrily when he grinned at her with a dark look.
"No... That's her clone. I harvested her alive so I could create another one, only now this one has her powers. She was my pet. My slave." He sneers as I looked down at the ground in shame that quickly turned into anger.
I am so done with him.
"I may be a clone, but that doesn't make me any less of a person!" I shout at him, standing up and walking over to him. "You've only given me the strength and reason to kill you!" I scream, feeling my eyes tear up while I felt arms wrap around me.
"It's alright. I've got you." Dylan mumbles against my hair as I tried pulling away from him but failing miserably.
"I hope you die a thousand deaths," I whisper, feeling myself crumble against Dylan when the women shared a look again.
"Well. This all makes sense now. She's not acting like our Skola... Skola then truly pa.s.sed away." The raven-haired girl mumbles, Agalana falling the ground with sorrow plastered on her face while the two ginger-haired girls comforted her.
The only person who seemed unaffected by the news of this Skola's death was the copper-haired girl. She merely stared at me intensely then glanced over at the snickering man who owned me for all my life.
Before I realized what happened, she threw her long blade into my master's throat and gifted him a slow and antagonizing death. Her purple eyes were emotionless as she looked at me again and crossed her arms.
"I am Hrudra the cold beast." She introduces the name explaining why she was so... dead.
"I am Hjala the orges huntress." The raven-haired girl nodded with a saddened smile when Agalana stared at me with hope blooming in her eyes.
"I am Valrun the runner of light." The woman with frizzy black hair introduces with an uncomfortable wave making me step back into Dylan's grasp.
"I am Getha the twin of mischief." One of the ginger-haired girl's introduces, her eyes a dark purple.
"I am Sevetha the twin of truth." The other ginger-haired girl nods to me, her eyes were a light purple.
"You truly don't remember any of us...?" Agalana asks me with hope when I shook my head and held onto the arms that held me.
"I-I'm sorry..." I mumble, shaking my head and giving them a sympathetic smile. Agalana seemed like she was about to burst in tears as Hrudra pulled her blade from my master's throat and slipped it into her belt.
"We should leave this place. It may be safe now, but we Valkyries are unknown to this area. Not that I mind murdering anything that comes near me." Hrudra shrugs with a dark smile that made me s.h.i.+ver.
"Come. My home will be op-"
"Oh no. There is an abandoned Valkyrie home nearby. Though we have to pay the ghouls again." Hjala tells us, the Valkyries looking at Getha as she frowns and wiggles her copper hair. Her twin's hair cut very short for some reason.
"I really hate you all..." Getha mumbles as the Valkyries snickered and threw rocks at her.
"Come now. Stop this play ladies. We are supposed to be scary." Hrudra growls at the ladies who were crackling with laughter while turning to us. "You are welcomed to come if you like. I'd advise Skola and her mate to come with us so they can learn more about what is to come now that your powers are awakened." She tells me.
"You are no fun, Hrudra," Sevetha admits before clasping her mouth in shock. Hrudra narrowed her eyes before lunging for the ginger-haired girl who let out a frightened shriek. They both rolled around on the ground, fighting one another.
I was about to stop them, but the other ladies were laughing at their foolishness. The sound easing me slightly.

Shrieks and screams rang around us, all the Valkyries throwing- or trying to throw blades at the mosquitos in the air while Khole sat to the side in her bubble. The s.h.i.+eld s.h.i.+mmering while the bugs tried nipping at her skin.
Thankfully, the bugs were not a fan of demon blood.
I watched Khole silently sit in her s.h.i.+eld, processing everything that has happened today and no doubt some of her thoughts about me. She had every right to be angry at me, but I just wished she would open up to me.
Though every time I walked closer to her, she stood up and moved farther. Clear to me she did not want my comfort.
Nava was still in utter confusion as to what happened, knowing that she was manipulated by Andrew but unsure of who the women around us were.

I was barely understanding everything myself.
It was clear to me that Khole was a Valkyrie with her pointed ears, long claws, short height, and sharp fangs. There's no doubt of that now once I saw her s.h.i.+fting into her war-maiden armor. She looked gorgeous with the light grey plates that surrounded her suddenly well-rounded b.r.e.a.s.t.s.
Her blonde hair fell over her shoulders that were covered by a feathered cape that only went down to the middle of her back. The pointiness in her ears looked adorable because every few moments they would twitch as if a feather was touching them.
The boots on her legs matched the feathers that rained over her shoulders and hips, the boots reaching her knees and exposing the small bit of skin between the skirt and the boots. It was so... tantalizing.
"I hate this d.a.m.ned place!" The frizzy black haired girl, Valrun, snaps before bringing Khole out of her thoughts and sighing. She walked, the bubble of protection following her while Levi stood up and patted his mate.
"Elisabethae imprimi bugs." His words were fluent before all the mosquitos dropped dead on the ground, the knives and shrieks ceasing. Khole had grabbed a broom from the corner of the room and began speaking, the action looking to give her some comfort.
"I think I am going to like these witches," Hjala comments while Nava jumped off the ground and wrapped an arm around Levi.
"This witch is mine." She growled, jealous of the attention he was getting when Sevetha laughed softly and shook her head.
"Do not fret, wolf. Hjala only likes girls." The short-haired girl a.s.sures Nava before being tackled on the ground by the scarier Valkyrie.
"You are going to learn to keep your mouth shut!" Hjala snarls while the two fought, each of them getting a few punches as I realize.
Valkyries really like to fight.
"I suppose you have many questions, Khole," Hrudra says making Khole stop sweeping the dead bugs and hold the broom in a tight grip. I knew that she was troubled, but I couldn't do anything if she didn't let me help.
My heart was throbbing because of her misery.
"Yes..." She nodded, walking to the wall and leaning the broom against it. "Who was I-I before my death-th?" She asks, turning and looking at Hrudra. "H-How did I become a Val-Valkyrie?" Agalana seemed pained with this question while looking at Hrudra. She nodded at Agalana when she stood from the ground and started pacing.
"You were born a mortal, it was about... two? Maybe seven hundred years ago. Your parents weren't Valkyries, just mortals, however, your ancestors came from Brynhildr, the Valkyrie known as the s.h.i.+eldmaiden. We grew up together though, the stories your great-grandma told us about Valkyries. We thought they were just stories and nothing else... Then the war came." She stopped for a moment, her eyes getting a distant look.
Khole was standing there, waiting patiently for her to continue as Agalana snapped out of the memory and smiled at her.
"Right. Then the war came. There were no more men to fight the war so we were enlisted to fight. Of course, our brothers and fathers died in the war so we were ready for our revenge. I remember the night very clear... both of us were injured but still fighting. Girls all around us were dying heroically and there was nothing we could do. Eventually, I was stricken and died, then you fell. We both were supposed to die on the battlefield that day but then a bright light brought us back to life along with several other girls... The memories are still fresh to this day..." Agalana shook her head, trying to rid the memories when Khole hesitated before touching her shoulder softly.
"I want-t to remember-r... For you, s-so I can share this burden with y-you." Khole says bravely, giving her a soft smile that even broke my heart. Agalana sniffed, clearly breaking down when grasping her in a tight hug. She looked extremely tense before hugging her back, emotion pouring into her senses.
The women held each other, it was clear that both had a deep connection even if Khole wasn't the Skola they knew. My Khole never had parents, no family, no friends other than me. She was a clone of a woman who was clearly loved for.
Though it seemed like those feelings carried over to my Khole.
I felt her connection with each of these women.
They let each other go, smiling like crazy while Hrudra nodded with a pleased expression and walked over to Khole with her hand out.
"You may not be our Skola, but we are glad to have you on our side Khole." Hrudra the cold beast actually smiled at Khole as they shook each other's hand.
