It was a good thing that Zander is helping out on taking care of Lexie, the only thing is sometimes she was unable to avoid meeting him due the request of their daughter, lest she would feel she is loosing the attention and caring of her mother. Two burly and mean looking men one thin and look sickly and the other one who look like a giant tall and heavy, alighted from the car holding seems like a two feet long iron rod. "Huh...David and Goliath." She somehow find amus.e.m.e.nt in the sutuation, while the driver stayed inside and gave her an amused and dangerous gaze . She also went out of her car and get ready for the worse.

"Ha ha ha! at last we got you" The big one said.

"What do you want from me?" she asked building her courage and trying not to sound afraid.

"You've got a big amount for your head, my lady." the thin one said.

"From whom? who's so excited to see me dead?" she asked buying time she keep on enquiring.

"We don't think you have to know since you cannot do something about it, you'll be ten feet below the ground, ha ha ha!!! " the giant said.

"On the contrary, since you're so determined to see me dead. I need to know just so I could curse them in the after life. and so with you." she said.

"Come on Fatso! get the job done before someone appears, Aguilar needs our report ASAP." the driver yell to them.

Just as the thin man raise his weapon to strike Carah bend to dodge the attack. and the giant follow by grabbing her to which she also evade. The man in the car get out and pulled a gun and aim at her. She in turn pulled her gun in the back of her jeans.

Bang! Bang! two shots reverberated in the calm and lonely highway.

Just as the shots finished, Carah felt pain in her wrist holding the gun sending it flying away from her, the driver lay down on the middle if the road bloodied with a hole in the middle of his forehead. The big men "Goliath" attack her, she quickly took a few side step to evade the attack and turn to kick his back sending him head on collision with the door of her car. The thin man she called David launch an attack using the iron rod. she keep on evade the strike until she was back against the car, using the car as leverage placing her left palm in the car, she kick the hand holding the rod it loosen from his hand .

She fought with the man hand to hand both of them unarmed except for their fist. She underestimated her opponent he sure is a thin man but his punches were powerful and hurts when it made contact with her, she in turn retaliated with all her might, she didn't took those self defense lessons for nothing. But the man got hold of her neck she was gasping for breath and her hand took a hold of something solid and she hurled it to his head. His hands loosen the hold in her neck, but all his weight was s.h.i.+fted to her body. The man lay on top of her, she took her time to breath before she push his body aside. That's how men found them.

"You're late!! I almost got killed." She told them.

"Sorry boss." They apologized and asked " What are we going to do with them?"

"Same as usual, take this two to the headquarters for interrogation. I have a meeting to attend." His men look at her dishevelled appearance."Don't worry I got it covered. I'll follow you when its all over." She smiled pick up her gun and get in the car to fix herself, before she drove away.
