Tobirama let go of Malika's hand. As soon as her hand was freed, she rushed in the direction of that mysterious scroll. Tobirama stared at his hand with conflicted emotions.

"This was the first time she reacted this way... Still, even though she could've easily free her wrist with her physical strength alone, she chose to ask.."

"Malika will remain our Malika. She thinks about our emotions..."

"However, she almost threw my hand away. Just what is that scroll?!" He said with irritation.

"Hey, what are you doing? Shouldn't we follow?" I said while standing up from the ground. I could understand him very well, for this was truly shocking. However, do we have the leisure to sit around? I don't think so.

"I know, Elder brother." He said, raising on his feet.

{Madara!}

{....}

{Madara!!!}

{....}

{MADARA!!}

{WHAT?!.... Do you know what hour it is?!} He shouted with sleepy voice. Oops, I forgot that he hates being woken up in the middle of the night...

{Hahaha, sorry, Madara. There is something happening to Malika. I think you should come.}

{Malika?} Now he sounded worried. If I was the one to hear that something was happening to her, I would rush there at my top speed.

I quickly briefed him on things that happened.

{I'm coming. Where is she?}

{I don't know. Tobirama will now use Hirais.h.i.+n to her bring us to her. I will release some of my chakra. Follow that trail.}

{Hn.}

Tobirama got a hold on my shoulder and the world became a blur. We landed on a brunch of an old tree.

'What is this?!'

The small lake that was here for ages, was now trice of its original size and was surrounded by cliffs and from within its depths, many large, smooth boulders were sticking out. (This is the place where Obito and sealed Kyuubi and almost killed Kus.h.i.+na) On one of such boulders that was almost touching one of the cliffs, Malika stood with the golden scroll in her hands.

Sensing our presence, she turned around. Our eyes meet. I smiled at her and jumped from the tree.

"Hey! You could've at least tell us about this place! You just ran off leaving your Nii-sans back..."

"Sorry." Her voice was almost emotionless.

"Hey, are you alright?" This was not normal at all! I looked closer into her eyes and saw that they were not focused. I ran up to her and shaking her, was able to bring her back to our world.

"Wha! Has.h.i.+ramnii-san! You are going to make my head fly away!" Her eyes were now completely back to normal. Tobirama approached us and was followed by Madara.

"Malika, what is going on?" Madara asked. Hey, there is no need for you to wear an armor! It's not a war! I could see that Tobirama was in his blue armor as well and was holding mine in his hands. Just when did he leave?!

Malika was as confused as I was.

"Well..."

She filled us in. when the scroll started to glow and flew away, the feeling that she had to follow was really strong. It was as if she was destined to come here. when she reached the lake, she saw that the scroll was levitating right above the center of the waterbed. She run on water and grabbed the scroll. She felt that a lot of chakra started to drain from her body, yet she couldn't let go off of the scroll. This place was summoned after taking all of her chakra.

"Right now, I completely out of chakra." She said with a wryly smile. "The reason I'm even alive, is mana. It plays the same role in my body, but as expected, without chakra, I was a bit lightheaded. Hahaha...."

She laughed and collapsed, falling on her b.u.t.t. "I'm still a little dizzy.." She said this with cheerful expression, but can we be smiling at this moment? I can't.

Tobirama Walked up to her and placed his hand on her shoulder.

"You are going home." He was about to use Hirais.h.i.+n, but Malika used her mana to move his hand away.

"I can't. When I was holding the scroll few minutes ago, I felt a very strong connection to it. It felt as a part of me, yet different. It led me to this location and stopped when I finally reached it. The scroll came from a different world, so how could it know about this place?!"

"This still doesn't give you the reason not to return!" Madara exclaimed.

"This alone, doesn't? Well then, what about the second message in the scroll."

She opened the scroll and we saw new characters written on it. 'Child, follow the light and it will lead you to the origin. Go there with no worry, Malika."

"Can you explain how come it has my name in it? Just saying, but it was pa.s.sed down for generations from my mother's side. GENERATIONS and the scroll wasn't opened until this day!"

She freed her wrist from Madara's grasp and walked closer to the cliff. Suddenly, the ground started to shake and a small earthquake created large waves on the surface of the evercalm lake. The stone on the cliff started to open and a bid entrance to the cave was revealed to the outside world. Torchers along a lengthy pathway, could be seen from the outside. The scroll soared into the air yet again and started to slowly drift away.

Malika's eyes became hazy, only to regain their focus a moment later.

"I will be going." She said with a smile.

"How can you be sure that this is not a trap? 'That' being might be the one behind all of this." Tobirama tried to reason with her.

"Not possible." She simply stated. "I never took this out in this world. My s.p.a.ce is unaccessible for others even with my permission."

"But.."

"Let it be, Tobirama." I stopped him.

"Elder brother!" He turned his head with desbilive in his eyes.

"I know." I glanced at Malika, who was standing my the entrance. "Can you really not stay?"

She shook her head. "I feel that I must go there. My resent dreams seem to be connected to this place. I want to know about my 'roots' and this place. Can you let your troublesome sister to explore the thing that she became interested in?" She showed a bitter smile.

"You can." I nodded.

"Has.h.i.+rama!"

"However, will you return?"

She was stunned by the fact that I allowed, but soon regained her composure and smiled widely.

"Of course I will! How can I leave my Nii-sans alone? I will not be gone for long. Probably a week at most. All I will be doing is exploring the cave and no matter how s.p.a.cious it is, it won't take much longer!"

Madara and Tobirama were stopped on their tracks and I could feel the bitterness that was coming from them. I hanged my head and swallowed my tears that had almost escaped from my eyes. I can't be uncool brother.

"Well then, how about we take a thing that you called a 'photo'?" I proposed with a wide, forced grin. "You are the first who found such a marvelous place, so it is only natural to depict it somehow?"

He eyes shone. "Yes! Let's do that!" She opened her s.p.a.ce and took out a rectangular object and a contraction that will hold it. "Has.h.i.+ramnii-san! Put your armor on!"

"Eh? Why should I?" I was thrown off by this sudden demand.

"Madarnii-san and Tobiramnii-sna are wearing their armors and only you are in your casual clothes! You will ruin the picture!"

"Ah! I definitely don't want that!" I stated loudly, playing along with her antics. Quickly putting it on and tying my head protector on my forehead I was told that I looked perfect for the photo.

SHe lined the three of us, did something to the 'camera' and ran up to us.

"Hurry! think of a pose! You have only 5 seconds!"

She stood right in front of as with her facing the camera, a delighted smile and widely spread arms. The three of us exchanged panicking glances and came up with our positions as soon as possible.

*click!* a sound came from the camera. Malika brought it over and used her magic to bring the picture from the 'screen' on a piece of st.u.r.dy paper that came from her s.p.a.ce.

"Wow! I didn't know you would come out so good from our first try!" She exclaimed.

On a piece of paper all of us were smiling. My elbow was on Madara's shoulder and with another hand I wanted to make Malika have rabbit ears, but it was a little too low. Madara stood with crossed hands and Tobirama made a tiger seal with his left hand for some reason.

Malika made three more copies of the same picture and handed them over to us.

"This way, all of us will have a copy! I'll be going now! See you all soon!"

She hugged us and ran of into the cave. We were waving our hands, until she disappeared from our sight. Madara wanted to follow, but he second he took a step inside, he was thrown out with a gash of strong wind. Shortly after, the entrance disappeared, only leaving bare rocks behind.

"Elder brother, why did you let her go?" Tobirama asked dejectedly.

"She would go anyways. All I did, was to make sure it didn't leave a bad aftertaste." I sighed. "You felt it too, Tobirama. This won't take a week."

"I know. The second the cliff closed, The s.p.a.ce-time laws became chaotic. If my guess is correct, we won't be able to see her for a while..."

"Let's go back. Everyone will be worried if all three of us vanish." Madara stood up from the ground and jumped on the nearby tree. His eyes reflects no light and the expression was as dark as moonless night.

"Hey, Madara! Don't sulk too much! Your little sister will come back. It only will take a little longer!"

"Hn." He disappeared in the woods.

"Let's go!" I chased after Madara and after taking a quick glace at the cliff, Tobirama followed. 'I hope you will come back safe and sound.'

All three of us shared that thought. Little did we know, that this will be the last time we see her in our lives.
