The pair of bra.s.s bracelets the pilgrim monks had handed over for cataloguing, carried an unusual binding magic. I suspected that once it was locked around a wrist it wouldn't come off, unless another similar item and trigger spell was activated to release it. I made sure to note this in the leather bound tome that was the Archive Tower Catalogue register.
"Are you done with those?" Daniel whispered into my ear, breaking my journal entry.
I leaned back into his arms, feeling his firm muscly body support my back. His large hands moved underneath my tunic, feeling around my nipples and towards my lower region. I closed my eyes, aroused by his smooth stroking and touches to my skin.
"No." I willed myself away from his touches. "We have to stop this Daniel. It isn't right."
Daniel grinned and tenderly kissed my lips. "If Princess requests it, okay."
I groaned, turned off by his cheesy nickname for me and pushed him back.
"Hey, Death, yah in there?" War's voice called out to me, breaking me out of my moment.

Leinard moved about another area to reveal another one of my memory files.

"Did something happen to Pesti?" War quietly asked as he stared at the s.p.a.ce between the foyer entrance.
"Now that you mention it. He felt tense and slightly rattled." I expanded on my concern.
Pestilence was the most self-a.s.sured of all of us. To get a feeling of insecurity from him felt off.
I recalled my conversation with him the day before. He had confided his concerns about Famine's strange sleep talking about four hors.e.m.e.n and Sol's burning to me. We had promised to keep this a secret for now and monitor over the next few days. Maybe this problem was still plaguing his mind.
"What is it War?" I frowned.
"Death? Yah know something's up with him, don't yah?" War quizzed me with a raised brow and arms folded over his chest.
I sighed. "Maybe, but it's a matter of confidence. Right now, I don't feel the right to share this."
"What!? If yah knew our brother did something wrong, will yah still keep it in." War grabbed me by the collar.
I gave him a round of my Second Voice, which was mentally projecting a high pitched squeal into his mind when I opened my mouth; thus inflict a fleeting moment of pain to his temples. It was War who had helped me realise my ability during one of our heated arguments years back.
"Ok! Stop dat will yah! Yah gonna make me deaf." He grumbled.
"Pestilence will tell you when he's ready." I rea.s.sured him.
"Baah. Dat brat's cunning like a fox. Though, his closeness to Famisto's a worry." He frowned with thought.
"Oh please tell me you're not going off on your weird conclusions again."
"Death. We be brothers, I see yah as nothing but my brother. But dat Pesti..." War relaxed his frown, but his expression was still of concern.
"Stop it War! If your sick mind sinks any further I'll thump you!"
War c.o.c.ked his head to one side. "What makes yah think my conclusion was perverted? Yah been around dat Adams-san for too long."
I groaned, pressing my palm to my face. Seriously. These brothers of mine were a worry.
"Hey. Yah think dat Adams-san is trying for Famisto?" War changed the subject that made his expression sour. "If he touches any of yah the wrong way. I'll kill him."
I didn't know what to say. Although, I shared War's protectiveness over our younger brothers. As the elder brothers, we keep our ears close to talk about our younger siblings. Especially Famine who's physical attractiveness and lively personality was something of a popular presence to the younger monks.
My mind went back to a day when we were just kids and Famine came sobbing to me, shaken up about a new monk who had tried to undress and have s.e.x with him. Fortunately there was a distraction that allowed for his escape. We told Shuso who had that monk expelled. Since then, War made sure to teach Famine how to fight and defend himself, springing surprise attacks on him to keep his guard and senses alert for danger at all times.
"The big brothers talking seriously to air." Shuso chuckled.
He called us further into the tower, reminding us of our task.

[Memory File #210 End]---
Leinard pushed further back to a moment of white. There I saw a pure white lotus flower in bloom.
"Is this what you're looking for?" A deep voice addressed Leinard's presence.
I saw a scintillating blue crescent-moon-shaped particles forming an energy ball. It hovered above the open palm of the Black Rider who was standing in an all white s.p.a.ce void of any other characteristic or reality.
"You.' Leinard's voice sounded throughout my mind as he addressed the Black Rider.
"Sorry, but I can't allow you further access to this man's mind. Take this foreign chi and ensure it reaches its rightful owner. This is the reason for the birth of his new power, which he gets to keep by the way." The Black Rider flicked the blue ball towards an image of Leinard standing before him.
"You look like Famine." Leinard gawked at the Black Rider's likeness to me.
This was getting weird seeing them both talking in thought like a dream.
"Do I now?" The Black Rider chuckled. "Run along, lover boy."
Leinard held the blue power ball in his hands as the image faded to black.
