Lee Qingya had just finished preparing the doc.u.ments Zhang Chenric needed for his legal review when he heard the sound of the gates opening as well as the noise of a car's engine.
"They are here!" Lee Qingya said to himself as he rushed out of the study room and quickly sneaked inside Zhang Chenric's room.
He then moved towards the table located beside Zhang Chenric's bed and placed a basket which seemed to contain various candies. Satisfied with the arrangement and placement of the candy gift basket on the table, he left the room as quickly as he entered and went outside to welcome the young master's arrival.
He was only a few steps away from them when he saw Zhang Chenric's Alaskan Malamute dog, Bandit, slowly approaching the gorgeous female who bore a great resemblance to the person who stole his boss' motorcycle.
"Oh my! I never thought young master will be this cruel! Is this punishment he talked about? To let Bandit maul this pitiful lady to death?" Lee Qingya was quick to judge thus misunderstanding the situation.
However, he got more confused when he saw Zhang Chenric's half-naked body and witnessed the next scenarios.
"Huh? Why is the young master s.h.i.+rtless? Eh? What's this?? Why Bandit is not attacking the woman?" While Lee Qingya was still busy connecting the dots to figure out what was happening before his very eyes when Zhang Chenric spotted him and called his name out loud.
"Lee Qingya! Why are you just standing there?! Get your lazy a.s.s here and take Bandit away!" Zhang Chenric's voice roared out loud, startling everyone.
"Why so angry? Look, because of what you did, your dog is now trembling in fear. Were you not informed that Malamutes are friendly to everyone? They only look intimidating because of their wolf-like appearance but they are a really friendly and playful breed of dog!"
Xing Yin did not restrain herself from scolding Zhang Chenric as she cuddled the dog in her arms.
"I did not ask for your opinion, woman! Lee, do not make me repeat myself." Zhang Chenric seemed to be in a bad mood all of a sudden.
"Hey, there buddy seems like your owner disliked that you were clingy to me. Sorry, but it looks like we have to part ways for now." Xing Yin sweetly said as she gave the dog a tight hug.
The dog whimpered as if it understood Xing Yin's words and started to slowly walk away from her.
"Come here, Bandit." Lee Qingya then moved to approach the dog, he also slightly lowered his head to greet Xing Yin.
Xing Yin nodded her head as to acknowledge Lee Qingya's respect.
"Lee, wash Bandit and make sure to clean him thoroughly. If he gets ill, I will take his medical expenses from your salary." Zhang Chenric said as he walked toward Xing Yin who was still sitting on the ground and abruptly pulled her up.
"So much time had already been wasted and my food is getting cold. Get inside now and wash. You still stink of vomit!" Zhang Chenric looked at Xing Yin with disgust before he turned away from her to get inside the house.
"You! Whose fault was that? If you did not drive like a maniac I will not throw my guts out earlier!"
"If you just sat in the front seat right away, none of those things would have happened!" Zhang Chentic stopped on his tracks to face Xing Yin.
Xing Yin wanted to retaliate but she, unfortunately, ran out of words to say especially when the root cause of all of this mess was her foolishness in the first place. However, she did not want to give up the fight as well and let Zhang Chenric to easily win the argument. What if she changes her strategy for the time being? That instead of acting tough around Zhang Chenric, she'll do the opposite! She'll act like some damsel in distress so Zhang Chenric would feel guilty when he treated her cruelly.
'Okay, okay, I will act like I am some kind of a pushover. Just wait and see, jerk! You will be touched with my award-winning acting skill and will get carried away by my outstanding performance!'
"Okay, I admit.This is all my fault. So please do not be angry anymore..." Xing Yin was really serious about changing her approach to Zhang Chenric.
"I did not bring extra clothes with me... If I bathe here I would not have clothes to wear after." Xing Yin said in an almost barely audible voice while keeping a facade.
Seeing the sorry state of Xing Yin's face, Zhang Chenric suddenly felt guilty of yelling at her. However, when he remembered how hard headed this person was, he started to doubt her words and actions.
'Hmmm... So, what are you scheming this time, huh? Let's see how well and how long you can conceal your real personality. Hmpf!'
"I will lend you my s.h.i.+rt for the meantime so that you can wash your clothes and wear them again when they dry." Zhang Chenric replied in a cold tone yet being extra mindful of Xing Yin's reactions.
'How dare this man to offer only a s.h.i.+rt! How about my undies?? Aghh!' Xing Yin screamed inwardly at Zhang Chenric's outrageous answer.
"Thank you for your generosity, but I think I will just buy clothes online." Xing Yin replied.
"You will have your bought clothes delivered here? I am sorry but I will not give you my house address." Zhang Chenric said before he stepped inside the house and disappeared from Xing Yin's sight.
"Screw you, jerk!" Xing Yin yelled out of frustration to Zhang Chenric's inconsiderate reply.
