Tehran led the charge, his s.h.i.+elds glowing in orange and red colors. Reinier was trailing him. Meanwhile, Agatha started to put in more effort into escaping Lidar's clutches. However, she suddenly found her head chopped, the guardian's HP plummeting to 0%.
"She's a troublesome fellow, kids." Lidar simply shot a grin to his students, gesturing a peace sign. He had just killed Agatha as if he's slicing a cake.
"Hehe." All of the trainees' response was just a sweating smile. Lidar was just too strong.
"All right! Here they come! Prepare for battle!" Lidar sunk his greatsword on the back of the lifeless, Agatha. He watched with eager eyes on how his students will defeat these three monsters. "Are you regretting your decision now, Yamasteh?"
"Yes, Master. I was selfish and overestimated my abilities. Please, forgive me." Nisha bowed deep on the ground.
"Good. Watch and learn from your cla.s.smates. I have an important lesson to impart." Lidar was grinning.
"Aye!" Nisha immediately diverted his attention to the five, who were just about to receive the three Lord Guardians of Alistor City.
Was.h.i.+ngtonBusy the Orc Berserker, TylerSwift the Elf a.s.sa.s.sin, DarwinSniper the Dwarf Bomber, Tripod Sunset the Human Ranger, and AlmondMeek, the Elf Cleric, looked like heroes as they charged to meet the remaining Guardians.
Tehran, Reinier, and Baghdad, the three stone creatures were emotionless, even at the death of their chief, Agatha. However, their rage could be felt in the sudden changes in their attack patterns.
Rock spikes were now protruding in Tehran's both s.h.i.+elds, while Reinier's battle-ax was now split into two. Meanwhile, four more hands sprouted from Baghdad's body, allowing him to grab more structures, and increase the number of his projectiles.

Wash, who was leading the charge, simply grinned. "This is incredulous! But eat this!"
Jackhammer!
He was wielding a black mace with yellow patters. Upon the activation of his skill, his club grew in size, which he immediately pounded towards Tehran, who had now entered his attack range.
Peng!
The seemingly-powerful offense of Wash was simply shrugged off by the Vanguard Guardian, who swatted the Orc with one of his s.h.i.+elds, sending him cras.h.i.+ng into the nearby structures. Meanwhile, Reinier the Berserker, jumped from behind, landing in the middle of the range units.
Scatter!
Boom!
When the Guardian landed, everyone was blown away by the force of his weight. He immediately found Almond, the Elf Cleric, isolated from the group.
"s.h.i.+t! Darwin and Sunset protect the healer!" Tyler, who had just happened to recover his bearing, immediately saw the imminent danger.
"I know! Darwin, coordinate with me!" The female ranger bickered.
"Aye!" The dwarf answered, his eyes already on the scope of his cannon.
Boom!
Swoos.h.!.+
The two powerful attacks of the elf and dwarf split, each finding their mark on both hands of Reinier, however, it was not still enough to hinder the swinging of his axes toward Almond.
"Permission to save Almond, Master." Nisha, who was the nearest from the elf cleric, knew what was coming. Just one of those swings could kill their healer in an instant.
Lidar simply responded with a hand gesture of 'hold a minute.' "Almond, you may use it now."
AlmondMeek, who was looking up at her attacker, suddenly smiled. Her branch-like staff shook before spitting out five golden nutsh.e.l.ls. The first of the husks stayed with Almond, while the other four scattered, each heading with high speed towards the direction of the other four members.
t.i.tan's DNA!
(Weapon Active Skill: t.i.tan's DNA) - A berserk skill that increases the life rating of a user to that of a t.i.tan. Grants a 500% increase in all attributes. Lasts for one minute. Five charges only and could not be stacked.12-hour Cooldown Period.
[t.i.tan's Twig - crafted by TolkienTotem. Weapon Restriction: For Clerics only.]
AlmondMeek had finally gotten herself a crafted weapon from their guild's chief forger. This was also her first time to use her weapon's skill. Previously, they were supposed to raid a dungeon to get a feel of their group's new trump card if not for Yamasteh's predicament. However, the three Lord-ranked guardians they were currently facing were the better test subjects for their group's new-found strength.
Roarrrr!
Clang!
Almond's frame quickly grew in size, allowing her to block Reinier's attacks with seemingly equal strength. With the fact that she's only a Cleric, one that was not focused on offense, she could not even imagine the power that the other four would display.
Boom!
The ma.s.sive orc, Was.h.i.+ngtonBusy grinned as he slammed his mace on top of the Guardian's Head.
"No damage?" The orc's mood suddenly changed as Reinier craned his neck to give him a cold stare. Those red eyes creeped him out.
Swhack!
The axes that were previously embedded on Almond's weapon were swiftly retracted and slashed toward Wash, who was still airborne. Green blood showered on the ground.
Almond, the Elf Cleric, was dumbfounded. It was not what she had expected. Things should have turned around, but here they are still helpless.
"Almond, heal Was.h.!.+" Lidar finally made a sound, seeing his student's indecisiveness.
The elf cleric, who was still in a stupor, suddenly snapped back to the current situation. Wash was in a critical state, but he's not yet dead.
Meanwhile, Tyler was current finding his way to reach Baghdad, while Darwin and Sunset were currently entangled with Tehran. Although they had received a berserk skill, a Lord-ranked monster was still a Lord Rank.
Aside from Tripod Sunset, who had already reached the Dark Gold Rank, the rest of the crew was still in the Gold division. There was still a four-rank difference between their strength and the guardians; namely, Dark Gold, Diamond, Platinum, and King, before even reaching the level of a Lord. Also, the gap in levels should not be forgotten.
"Tsk." Yamasteh gritted his teeth. The t.i.tan's DNA charge should have been given to him, instead of Almond. It was the initial plan. However, since he can't join the fight, he was left staring in the sidelines, trying his best to suppress his boiling blood.
Almond tried her best to restore everyone's quickly depleting HP; her rhythm was starting to show signs of fatigue. Lidar immediately noticed it.
"ENOUGH!" He shouted with a serious tone. The lesson has been delivered.
The five immediately halted their steps, but their opponents did not. However, before the three guardians could release their attacks, a blinding white light crossed their necks.
Slice!
"d.a.m.n!" Nisha, could not help himself but curse. It was a swift movement, and he saw it all.
Lidar quickly finished off the three guardians, cutting their heads in midair before the damage could be done to his students.
"Alright! Great job, everyone! Now, there's one task left to do. Hunt RockSalt down! Go!" As if nothing unusual happened, Lidar shot a smiling look to everyone as he gave out the next order.
"Aye!" The previously sullen students were instantly filled with bloodl.u.s.t. They needed to release their frustration!
...
'Fvck! He's really the real deal!' Previously, RockSalt was safely hidden within one of the nearby structures, watching how the battle was unfolding. He had never expected Lidar to be that strong after all this was his first time to meet him.
When he saw the three headless guardians falling on the ground, he immediately knew that s.h.i.+t was about to come. RockSalt immediately fled with all his life. He kept on changing his direction, winding from alley to alley, his familiarity with the whole place was really paying off.
He did not stop until he arrived in a particular pa.s.sage connected to the plaza. What he saw immediately halted his steps - a burnt tentacle and Udil, who was just starting to recover his senses.
