Chat Group For Magicians Chapter 134 Stalking The Impostor

This impostor seems to have the weird habit of consuming sweet food. I am guessing that this person is a sweet tooth guy seeing that he or she liked to eat cake as food. I am not a sweet tooth myself because I am more of the salt faction but I am not against the sugar faction. Wait... let's not get sidetracked.

"Do you mean this impostor has a sweet tooth?"

"Yeah. I am not a sweet tooth person I don't really have a good spot with the sweets so I know that is not my trait."

"I see. We can use this chance to get your body. Although it's hard to find someone with a sweet tooth, it's not impossible. We should start finding that body of yours."

After that, we started looking for her body. s.h.i.+buya's sweet shops are all around so looking for her body is a drag. The good thing is that we are invisible but it is still a nuisance to open doors. We had to wait for someone to go out or go in so that our cover would not be blown by anybody. It was hard but eventually, we got used to it.

It didn't take long before we finally managed to find her body.

"My body!" She exclaimed and pointed out the said figure of hers.

I looked into the windowpane of the establishment and saw a similar Mirai currently eating ice cream inside the ice cream parlor. She was right, if her soul is outside, then who is the one currently occupying the body of Mirai?

"I need to take my body back!" Mirai runs towards the ice cream parlor but I stopped her.

"Idiot. You are just courting death if you act like that rashly. You didn't remember what Ms. Asuza said? We had to keep a close eye on your body rather than forcefully take it to an unknown ent.i.ty that is currently occupying your body. We need to list its hobbies and schedule if you want to have a plan to capture your running body," I explained.

"Ugh…" Mirai frowned.

"Just keep it low for now. Everything that you have done might only destroy what we are about to do."

Mirai's head drooped low and glanced at her body that is happily eating ice cream. It was like she already managed to a.s.similate itself into her body. Might be the cause why the original owner cannot get inside anymore.

"I miss my body…" Mirai said.

"No worries, we will take your body back but not now I guess."

"I just wanted to live in a normal world and without anything that disrupts my whole activities."

We continue to stalk on her body until we arrived at the mansion. This mansion is a bit smaller than Erina's but it's still one of the extravagant. d.a.m.n, are all girls rich nowadays?! How come all of the girls I know are all rich people?

"Is this your house?"

"Yeah. It's been a while for me since the last time J stepped inside the house. I missed my parents."

"Well, we can't waltz into your house this time so we should stop for the time being and continue the task tomorrow."

"Wait, we can enter my house. I have my permission that you can enter," Mirai said.

"Excuse me?"

"I said that you have my permission to enter my house. Clear? Got it?"

"Wait, wait, wait. You think I can just waltz in because I have "Your" permission. Remember that you are a soul. We can't just go and enter because I have "your" permission which in their eyes is nonexistent. You are a ghost right now so don't think about it!"

"I know a secret pa.s.sage to enter the house without going to the gates. I usually use it to sneak in and out whenever I am in trouble. Saves me time," Erina insists.

"I told you we can't do that…"

"But we are invisible right? We can go in without being detected!"

"Oh… but f*ck we are already…"

"Just this once. Promise, this once only. I beg you."

"..." I facepalmed at Mirai. Her persuasive skill is hard to counter. I can't believe Mirai is able to manipulate me just like that. Oh well, I had to do this then. Screw it…

We made our way to the very back of the mansion. Unlike the front, the back house is bare and unguarded. It's just a normal wall with a small fence on top. That's it, not even a CCTV camera or something. Isn't the security system of this place so lax?

Mirai went further into the back alleyway and crouched. She sighed in relief after a dent of the wall appeared.

"Ah, good thing they still have no idea that there is a hidden pa.s.sage here. We can use it here. Let's get inside!" Mirai said and crawl her way inside.

"This is not a very bright idea. I think this is not going to be a good time…" I shook my head and crawl inside too.

This is the first time I entered someone else's house without the owner's very official permission to enter. This is officially called trespa.s.sing already but since Mirai insists, I have no choice but to follow or else, I might get hunted by her every night and I don't want that to happen to me.

Her mansion is quite big and the gardens of the place is well maintained. It was like keeping a small park for the people of the house to use because the place even has benches and swings to use. A huge fountain is erected at the very center of the field surrounded by flowers which made me realize how rich Mirai was. I don't even dare to compare my lowly self to her. My house is no longer my property anyway since all the renovations that occurred to my house is beyond my control.

We sneaked inside the garden and looked around. There seems to be no other people around other than me and Mirai around here. It was like the whole place is abandoned.

"Where are the gardeners or your servants? Isn't it going to be hard if you have no servants around here?" I asked as I looked around the place.

"It was indeed strange. There isn't any servant that should be on a break right now. How come they are not here?"

I activated my mana scan to scan around the place but I discovered that none of the servants are around, not even into the very far area of the garden. Not a single soul is here at the moment and that was already a strange thing.

"Kazuma, I had a bad feeling about this…" Mirai said.

"Me either. A quiet place like this is not even a good thing that would occur. There must be something happening right now inside the mansion."

Mirai gasped and she dashed off towards the entrance of her mansion. I followed her behind without any complaints and realized that a heavy atmosphere is covering the whole mansion. Looks like something darker is lurking in here...
