Chat Group For Magicians Chapter 162 Torture The Body Thief

Tsukoyomi pulls out several talismans out of his robe and sent them flying to the location of the portal and he pulls out a gong out of nowhere. When the Body Thief appeared out of the portal and got on a bind from Yaya's ice magic, before it can even move, Tsukoyomi slams the gong hard. I expected a very strong reverberating metallic sound from the gong but what I expected did not occur. There was nothing...

However, the Body Thief screams out in pain and it covered its ears. The other magicians didn't look surprised so from my guess, this gong is something that can be used to monsters. Moonlight got close to me and whispered to me what the gong is.

"If you are wondering why there is no sound coming from the gong when Tsukoyomi slams it, its because of the sound that can only be heard by the demons and ent.i.ties with demonic and evil auras will be affected by it. It was called the Gong of the Soul. Any evil ent.i.ties that will hear the sound will squirm and scream in pain and will try to get away from the sound as soon as possible. Our goal here is to defeat the Body Thief and to avoid harming the body, Tsukoyomi uses the Gong of the Soul to separate the body and the Body Thief."

Tsukoyomi continues to slam the gong that is weirdly not producing any sound at all and the Body Thief keeps on screaming in pain. It is trying to escape but due to the power of Yaya that binds the Body Thief's feet, it might not be able to go anywhere. The Body Thief keeps on shrieking and the body of Mirai started bleeding as the Body Thief started to claw and inflict pain on itself. Rena started to cast healing on the body, allowing the wound to close. But with the Body Thief's scratching trying to inflict the wound on her body, this is not a complete solution.

Tsukoyomi started to slam the gong again and before the Body Thief can do anything, it started to spasm. I thought this would be the end because of the gong but I was wrong. The Body Thief escaped on Mirai's body and cut all the bonds he made in there to connect himself to the consciousness of Mirai who is currently in a coma, revealing the Body Thief's real body. 

The Body Thief can be really comparable to the xenomorph in the Aliens movie franchise. It has no eyes but it has the elongated head and saw sharped teeth. The only thing is that this Body Thief looked a bit different. Instead of a claw, it prefers to have tentacles on its body. And one thing, it looks creepy as f*ck and it looks like a hybrid human and hybrid squid. Before it can escape, Moonlight, Yaya and Rena performed sealing movement magic that binds the escaping Body Thief.

Tsukoyomi started to send out different talisman cards all around the place and even covered the body thief with three different colored talismans which are green, brown and red. I thought they would stick on his body but before I can react, the talismans crumbled to dust. It was like it was burned but in reality, Tsukoyomi's attacks were in a similar manner as sticking talismans.

The Body Thief tried to destroy the bindings on his feet but I guess the enemy won't be able to do that soon. Tsukoyomi punched in the air and a brown magic circle appeared on the top of his fist. As soon as the magic circle in his hands disappear, rocks started to appear out of nowhere and start the torture.

The rocks started to bind the Body Thief in a very dangerous position. It didn't take long before the Body Thief started to shriek in pain as the rocks started to tighten. Tsukoyomi did not stop the attacks and before the Body Thief can even recover, a pair of vines started to protrude out of the main body of the Body Thief. It keeps on going and I never expected this to occur on the Body Thief, Somehow, I find the situation of the Body Thief terrifying. Roots and leaves started to appear on the body of the Body Thief. I never really expected it.

Tsukoyomi was actually not done yet, as soon as the Body Thief started mocking him in a ghastly smile, Tsukoyomi closed one of his fist and half of the plants started to wither and the Body Thief also started to get drained. It was like all of its vitality was gone and absorbed by the plants. The Body thief is still alive though because only half of the body thief is still full of gra.s.s and trees but I guess that is enough torture for that monster. 

Tsukoyomi once again starts to close the opened hand and all of the plants that withered suddenly returned in vitality but opposite to the plants growing and thriving, the lower half body of the Body Thief started to drain once more causing the worst case in the event. I am now aware of what the plants growing on the Body thief. It was a parasitic plant.

Since the body of the Body Thief is covered with soil, the parasitic plant will go thrive and due to the fact that parasitic plants thrive in other organism to live, as soon as it was introduced to the Body Thief, the parasitic plants were able to grow and use the Body Thief's vitality as its own food which causes the Body Thief to get drained a lot. But from my guess, Tsukoyomi has the only ability to rapidly increase the absorption and growth of the Parasitic Insects on the body thief. His fists open and close whenever the absorption of the parasitic plants occurs so my guess is that this is how he controls it.

The Body Thief growled weakly as the plants continue to devour and absorb all of its vitality. Retaliation is even hard now for the Body Thief. It struggled to move after half of its body is now immobile. It is still growling and trying to escape but Tsukoyomi approaches the body thief and held it to its neck.

"You are a tough one to crack eh? You were able to get so much vitality on her that the usual tricks require additional work to destroy the likes of you huh..."

"SKREEEEE!" the body thief growled in a very sharp tone but it was very weak so it only ended a bit short. Still, it can be considered as an ear r*pe because of the pain that it inflicts.

"You need to taste the pain that I want you to feel. Because your kind is somehow very kind to my family. And I know that you guys will love it."

With a snap, the Body Thief's body started to produce fire and started to cause spontaneous combustion. And due to that, the screams of the demon started to echo all around the place as flames engulf the monster while Tsukoyomi stares at it, full of killing intent.

"Why is he so angry on the body thief?" I whispered Moonlight.

Instead of Moonlight answering, Tsukoyomi answered me. "My parents and siblings were killed and their bodies were taken by the Body Thieves before. I was one of the targets as vessel but I managed to kill the body thief that was about to approach possess my body. Since I managed to do that, the others who managed to get into the body of my siblings and parents attacked and tried to kill me. In the end, I killed them all with my own two hands. Because you can kill a body thief when it possessed someone, I tried killing all body thieves I find and destroy their occupied bodies. I hate them very much that if there is a job that involves the Body Thieves, I would be glad to accept and deal with it, even without any compensation and payment. After that, Tsukoyomi left, leaving me and everyone to truly make sure the Body Thief's death is real and to check whether this is going to resurrect or not. Moonlight and Yaya carried Mirai's body back in the real world and carried it somewhere which is from my guess would be where the soul of Mirai is recuperating.

Rena looked at me and grinned. "Looks like the package that I ordered was not going to be used this time around."

That's when I remembered it. The items that were supposed to help with Mirai's condition ended up nothing. Why do I feel so spent up? Why do I feel so tired? I think I don't know anymore.
