Feng Xinying was once again perturbed with what Su Haobing just said. "Who killed my mother?" she asked feeling the sweat in the hand that was holding the phone. 

"Miss Xinying, I would like to meet you and then tell you the details. Today Su Lang is with me and he has somehow made his way out of the organization undetected. So he will be able to tell you more details."

"In that case once the location shoot is over, I will come over to the martial arts school and we will talk about it."

"Okay Miss Xinying," said Su Haobing and disconnected the call. He looked at his nephew. Su Lang had been able to find a day out on the pretext that he was going to his village. He had a lot of information and wanted to share it with Feng Xinying. 

When Feng Xinying reached the location, she was in her thoughts. Her makeup artist called her several times in order to break her thoughts and attract her attention towards her. It took a long time for her to get dressed for the scene. The entire team was wondering about her tardiness that day. Even during the shots, Feng Xinying committed several mistakes. 

Lu Dao was very irritated by the end of the afternoon. He went to her and spoke to her in private, "Feng Xinying, I gave you two days of holidays on your request because of some urgent work. Now after the two of holidays, you are still not refreshed. I cannot afford this kind of tardiness on the sets. Today we have wasted a lot of time in your mistakes. You are the lead actress and how can you waste so much time?" 

Feng Xinying lowered her head and said "Sorry," meekly. 

Rest of the evening she tried her best to remember all the dialogues and not make mistakes, but it wasn't happening. There was too much in her mind that was going on. She wanted to go to Su Haobing as soon as possible and know the mystery surrounding her mother's death. She was also worried about the statement that Xie Weihui had made, "It would have been better if you were killed along with your mother!" What did that mean? Did she know anything about her mother's murder? And why did she wish such a thing? Did she know her when she was a small child? 

Finally when the evening came to wrap up the work, Lu Dao once again came to her and said, "You better be refreshed when I see you next time!" 

"Sure," she said once again in a very apologetic manner. 

She left for the martial arts school. It was already 6PM. As soon as she arrived, she saw that Su Haobing was waiting there along with Su Lang. they ushered her in a small private room in the house where Su Haobing lived within the school premises. 

"Good evening Miss Xinying," Said Su Lang. 

"Tell me what information you have," Feng Xinying asked the question without even greeting him. She was very anxious. 

"Ma'am, your mother was killed because of a major misunderstanding between two very close families. I had gone to dig some information about your parents and the first thing that I came across was that your parents were too much in love with each other. They didn't know about it but they had a third wheel in their marriage. This is the most important information I have gathered."

"So what? There are many love stories that have third wheel. What is so important about this?" she asked with a shrug. 

"Well, that third wheel was none other than Mrs. Xie Weihui," he said looking grave.

Feng Xinying's eyes became wide with shock. "Do you mean- do you mean…" she closed her mouth with her hands. 

"Yes, I mean that only. Your mother was a target of her hatred," he replied. "She disliked your mother to the extent that she was the one who tampered with her car's brakes that fateful day." 

Feng Xinying's eyes became misty. It was just yesterday that Xie Weihui was sent to jail. Had she known about this earlier, she wouldn't have let her go to jail, she would have given her harsher punishment. 

"What can we do now?" she asked as she tried to stop her tears from falling out. "I want that woman dead!" 

"There are two ways. One, we take her out on bail from prison and kill her and two, we get her killed in the prison," replied Su Haobing. 

Feng Xinying took a deep breath. She said, "Okay, wait for my decision." Saying this she collected her purse and left. 

When she came out of the school, she sat in her car and drove back silently, with her hand on her chin, which was supported on the car's window. 

A car had followed her all the way to the school and then back. Once she reached the Feng Mansion, Xie Yuansheng received a call, "She has reached the mansion." 

Feng Xinying entered the bedroom only to see Xie Yuansheng with a phone in his hand. She threw her purse on the side and went to take a shower. She was in a dilemma whether she should talk to Xie Yuansheng about it or not. 

When Xie Weihui had told Feng Xinying about the fact that she should have been killed with her mother, Xie Yuansheng had become very afraid. He knew that Feng Xinying would definitely make her enquiries regarding it. He was prepared for that. He knew that Su Lang was her man that she had planted in his organization. He had Su Lang's movements monitored at every step. So when that incident happened, he planted false evidence against Xie Weihui and led Su Lang to that evidence. 

When Feng Xinying heard it from Su Lang, she was convinced that it was Xie Weihui who killed her mother. He knew that Feng Xinying already dislike Xie Weihui to the extent that if she would hear about Xie Weihui killing her mother, she would lap it up. Xie Yuansheng had to play on those emotions for her to get out of this. He had to sacrifice Xie Weihui in order to get out of this mess once and forever. The ghosts of his past were looming large and this was his best chance. He had to be ten steps ahead of her. 

Feng Xinying came out of the shower. She was drying her hair with the hair dryer contemplating whether she should discuss it with Xie Yuansheng or not. She changed into pajamas and mustered the courage to discuss things with him in detail. After all he should know. She also wondered whether he knew about it or not. Was he faking all the time that he didn't know about Xie Weihui's plans? But he was always on Feng Xinying's side. Why would he fake that? If he had faked, he wouldn't have ever gone against his own aunt. She was getting confused by the minute. 

On an impulse, she asked him, "Xie Yuansheng, I want to ask you a question about your aunt." 

Xie Yuansheng was expecting that. In this life, he had to be very careful. "Sure sweetheart, what is it? But first I have to ask you a question."

"What?"  

"Why were you so late today?"
