"I'm thirsty…" Giving a strange reply she turned away from Feng Jianyu to go inside the house, leaving him struggling for answers.

'That's it? She just went inside without giving me any reaction! Should I consider it good or bad… or very bad?' He pinched the s.p.a.ce between his brows, 'Oh G.o.d, Mei, sometimes you're almost impossible to understand…. It was Sat.u.r.day, and Xiu Mei doesn't work on weekends. Feng Jianyu had an important meeting to attend but he pushed Feng Junjie to attend it so that he could spend some more time with her.

Sitting in the back garden Igloo patio, they were eating lunch in each other's company. After that day when they kissed, Xiu Mei neither brought up the topic and nor she gave any reaction on it. She behaved as if something like this has never happened in between them.

Feng Jianyu also didn't dare to push his luck by asking her any question related to the topic, although he was dying to know her thoughts. But he restrained himself in order to not make her feel awkward. After all, he doesn't want to scare her away. She is too precious for him. He was satisfied thinking that at least she didn't give him any negative reaction. This is more than a positive response for him.

"Here… try this, it's really yummy!" He said, putting a piece of braised meat in her bowl and praised Aunt Mary's cooking, "Aunt Mary's cooking skills are really good."

Xiu Mei nodded, "Hmm…. No doubt about that! Her cooking skills are at par if compared to a professional chef."

Feng Jianyu gave a winning smile, noticing that she is behaving normally with him. They were just talking when his phone rang. He noticed that it was Feng Junjie calling him.

'Idiot! I told him not to call me when I'm with Mei'

"Speak" He answered the phone holding it with his left hand, while he keeps on adding vegetables with his right hand to Xiu Mei's bowl.
