To hide her breast she wrapped it properly with bandages from medical kit and further layered her body with a coat borrowed from Ghost. Getting her fixed was a ha.s.sle as they were waist long. But she smartly hides them by making a makes.h.i.+ft bandana from her old top and further covering it with a hat.

On watching her doing this Roxie and Gemie started barking at her as if approving her new look. "Hey! Did you like this thing over my head? Wait I'll give you something too" She cut the remaining part of her top into two pieces and tied it around their neck like a collar.

"Let's go"

Their car drove for dozens of kilometers and stopped before a checkpoint.

"It's a checkpoint. We should dispose of this car here only as it's stolen" Her expression darkened on watching the danger in front.

"This is the mandatory checkpoint to reach the camp. Keep low and do not speak anything. I've some connections here so they will let us pa.s.s. All I have to do is grease their palms" She heard Ghost whisper next to her ear and nodded. " In that case, we have to get an oil tank filled too"

"Don't worry. After the checkpoint, it has that facility" He replied.

Xiu Mei took a sigh of relief when the car pa.s.sed the checkpoint smoothly without any difficulty. Ghost helped to buy some bread, fruits, daily necessities, filled the oil tank and bought some extra oil and paid them hefty money for all the things.

Obviously, she provided with the money to pay for the things.

Upon seeing the tattered condition of his clothes and house, it's not possible he has any money to buy such things and grease the palms of the people to let them pa.s.s.

Thanks to Jianyu's thoughtfulness, money is not a problem for her as of now. The money that he gave her was dollars, more valuable than any other currency.

"Extra oil?" She asked looking at the container of extra oil and he replied calmly, "To dispose the car off. Ten km before the army camp we'll set the car on fire to remove our traces"

She nodded her head understanding his viewpoint. By crossing the checkpoint and showing their money they have come under the eyes of the military. It's better to be safe than sorry.

 After arriving the facility 'Ghost' plotted a story, telling the military personnel pointing towards Xiu Mei who was dressed as a 17-18-year-old boy, he got separated from his family two days back and wished to check if they are here or not.

The Captain gave a dirty look at her shabby clothes. "Whatever! The bodies that came today are from multiple car crash at the cliff and some rebels killed by mercenaries. Don't take much time, Commander Zeus is about to come here" He said rather annoyed and led them to the morgue.

"We don't even know the ident.i.ty of the car owner. Forget about license number, the car was missing engine and cha.s.sis numbers too"

Before leaving Feng Jianyu had got every detail of the car scratched so that it cannot lead it to him. It's almost impossible to find the owner of the car.

All the bodies lying there were in such a miserable condition that it can churn anybody's stomach. They were badly burned, limbs missing, bones protruding out but Xiu Mei carefully studied them with her sharp eyes without flinching for even once.

After inspection, a wide smile appeared on her lips as she heaved a sigh of relief. No matter what are the conditions of these bodies, she can always sense Jianyu in a blink of an eye. Considering his exceptional physique and height, none of the bodies matches with it.

"I'm glad the one you are looking for is not among them" She felt a tap on her shoulder as Ghost came and stood beside her.

Mei along with Ghost has just signed out from the morgue when she heard the sound of military cars and tanks approaching towards the military camp. Judging by the way every commando rushed outside to line up at the door, to greet the person coming; she understood who it could be.

As mentioned by the captain earlier, this must be Commander Zeus coming to the camp. She has heard lots of thing about this commander and wanted to see him once. After all, he is the one carrying these inhuman activities in the city on the orders of certain someone.

She was hundred per-cent sure he is the main minion of Kong's.

Her eyes widened in shock the moment he jumped out of the tank. She can't believe that the person standing a few meters away from her was the infamous Commander Zeus.

Of course she knew him...

He is one h.e.l.l of a cunning and selfish man, who won't even think twice before killing his own family for personal benefit. While living in Kong House she has seen him coming there many times to curry favor from Kong Da to appoint him as the head of Drogon Squad of the military.

Drogon was the highest-ranked team in the military, responsible for handling the security issues of the country in cross border wars.

Mei looked at the badge tucked on his black uniform. She sighed in disappointment seeing a flying dragon badge, which means he is the leader of this unit. Her face turned ugly, 'd.a.m.n! I should have paid attention to this name before. Of-course Kong Da will choose Zeus to carry on his illegal work in North City'
