Qian Fan felt as if flowers had bloomed in his heart when he received a single yes from Xin Mei. There was a chance, there was a chance that she would forgive me.

"But I have a condition." Xin Mei smirked and stood with her head held high. "I want you to confess your crime and crime of Zhou Mingyu in front of everyone. I want you to tell everyone how you both are a cheating couple. Then only I will dance with you."

Funny and awkward expression appeared on the face of Qian Fan and Xin Mei smirked. She looked toward Qian Fan and blinked her eyes. 

"What happened Qian Fan? Can't confess your bad deeds in front of everyone?" She chuckled when she looked at his dull face. 

She again straightened herself. "Qian Fan, I will never dance with you, not even in my dreams." 

And with that, Xin Mei walked away from Qian Fan and towards Su Zixin who was also talking with some of his co-stars. She silently stood beside him with a gla.s.s of wine in her hand.

Noises filled in the hall with the arrival of the Su Yuchen. He was the VIP of the night and everyone was eagerly waiting to meet him. 

Xin Mei also looked at the direction of the door with a small smile on her lips. Her smile soon disappeared when she saw Su Yuchen entering inside with Ning Xiao walking beside him.

Xin Mei clutched her fist and glared at them. She was about to angrily walk towards Su Yuchen and Ning Xiao when Su Zixin stopped her.

"Don't expose yourself here. You can scold brother at home also." He whispered in her ears.

Xin Mei nodded her head while fuming like an angry lioness.

Ning Xiao was smiling brightly at her entry. She was so glad at her luck that she got a chance to enter inside with Su Yuchen. Now she would again fire up the rumours about herself and him.

Su Yuchen was completely ignorant of the presence of Ning Xiao beside himself. His eyes were continuously searching for Xin Mei. 

Finally, he found her standing beside Su Zixin. A frown appeared in between his brows when he saw her glaring in his direction. He then looked beside himself and shook his head.

"Miss Ning, can you please leave my side?" He spoke to Ning Xiao in a cold voice. "I care that you have once saved my grandma, so I don't want to be rude with you, but please don't force me to do the same."

And with that, Su Yuchen gave her his cold shoulder and made his way towards other business clients whom he could easily recognize.

Ning Xiao looked at the back of Su Yuchen and clutched her fist. She smiled to others and acted as if Su Yuchen had not scolded her not a minute ago.

'Soon, I will make him mine.' She foolishly thought.

Zhou Zichen was jumping on his place from the moment he saw Su Yuchen. He ordered some waiters and walked towards Su Yuchen with them.

"Mister Su, please have some drinks and starters." He smiled and looked at Su Yuchen.

From the time the party had started, Zhou Zichen was eagerly waiting for Su Yuchen. He had thrown this party only to impress him.

Zhou Zichen had already received a contract from Su corporation, via Huang Chu. Maybe he did not have any profit from it till now but still, he was eager to get some more contracts with Su corporations.

He also wanted to get the success that Xin corporation had received in the last six months after getting into a partners.h.i.+p with Su corporations.

"Mingyu, now mister Su is here, why aren't you going to meet him? Haven't you promised us that you will dance with him?" Friends of Zhou Mingyu nudged her towards Su Yuchen.

"I am going. I am going. I am a little shy." Zhou Mingyu acted shy and nervous when she looked at her friends.

She took her lips in between her teeth and made her way toward Su Yuchen who was standing all alone and was talking something with Huang Chu.

 "Mister Su," she smiled but her smile soon disappeared when Su Yuchen ignored her and kept discussing something with Huang Chu.

"Mister Su, can I have your attention please?" she spoke in a slightly high voice. 

"Yes, did you just call me?" Su Yuchen looked at her with innocent eyes.

"Yes, mister Su," Zhou Mingyu plastered a smile on her lips. "I want to personally thank you for coming to my birthday party."

"Oh, so you are the birthday girl?" Su Yuchen asked with surprise and Zhou Mingyu looked at him with a funny expression on her face.

Her girl's gang giggled when they heard the response of Su Yuchen. No big deal that Zhou Mingyu was again bragging that she knew Su Yuchen. She even bragged about dancing with him!

She would never change!

"Yes, mister Su. It is me. I am Zhou Mingyu." Zhou Mingyu awkwardly smiled at him. 

"Oh, Happy birthday, miss Zhou." Su Yuchen nodded to her. "May you get all the happiness which you truly deserve." 

Su Yuchen then turned and looked at Huang Chu. He understood the signal and pa.s.sed the gift to Zhou Mingyu. Zhou Mingyu smiled brightly when she saw a huge box.

"Thank you for this gift mister Su."

"There is no need to thank me, but you should thank my a.s.sistant. He is the one who purchased it. I don't have time to buy gifts for a stranger like you."

And with that, Su Yuchen again ignored Zhou Mingyu. The smile disappeared from the lips of Zhou Mingyu. She curled her lips and felt embarra.s.sed.

Never in her life had she felt so ignored and embarra.s.sed. Su Yuchen had nearly humiliated her at her own birthday party. Now everyone was laughing at her.

Zhou Mingyu looked at her friends and then at her co-stars who were now gossiping while pointing at her.

"I was thinking about how this fool gets to know a big personality like Su Yuchen. The reality is still the same. She was again bragging."

"I also thought how come Su Yuchen attended this party, guess what, her father was the one who invited him. Who knows if this party is to brag in front of Su Yuchen and not for his daughter."

"What does she think of herself? She can impress everyone with her fake smile. Su Yuchen is different!"

Far away, Xin Mei was looking at the scene with a smirk on her lips. She must praise Su Yuchen who had royally embarra.s.sed Zhou Mingyu in small sentences.

"Let's go."

"Where?" Su Zixin asked.

"Let's introduce ourselves to mister Su." She grinned and winked in his direction.

"Now what are you both husband and wife planning to do?" Su Zixin furrowed his brows in curiosity!
