It's not that she likes him or anything like that but she considers him a friend and wouldn't want something horrible to happen to him. With the amount of blood found in the crime scene, he was surely injured but what bothered her is why he didn't call her or head to a nearby hospital.
Moreover, if something were to happen to him, how would she explain it to Mina?
Truthfully, Jasmine could guess why the situation escalated like this. It's all related to his actions in the afternoon when she entered his apartment and found him behaving angrily. It was clear that they were robbed and for it to push him to do something like this, he must have lost something precious or so speculated Jasmine.
'What could he have lost?'
While banging her feet on her king-sized bed, Jasmine tried her best to think of a reasonable explanation. After a few minutes, an illusory light bulb appeared above her head, she suddenly got up and dazedly stared in front of her.
'Yes, he only cares about his sister and money!'
It didn't take a genius to think of this, nonetheless, only people who really knew Bin would know what he treasures most. Some would think a family heirloom was stolen or something equally important but it was just money and not a great amount for the likes of Jasmine and co.
In the end, Jasmine went through a sleepless night and when she came down to eat early in the morning, she had large dark circles under her reddened eyes.
Two or three hours before the happy family had their breakfast, Angelica was quietly sitting on a large balcony on the third floor of the manor while gazing at the rising sun.
She was sipping some tea while waiting for someone to arrive. The madam didn't have to wait for a long time as a dark shadow materialized behind her, the figure was wearing tight black clothes that covered his or her appearance.
"What did you find out?"
In response, the figure removed the piece of cloth covering her mouth and spoke with a feminine voice

"There is very little information about him. However, he has been regularly visiting the hospital for more than ten years."
Hearing this, Angelica frowned and asked:
"Why? Is something wrong with him?"
The cloaked figure bowed her head and replied:
"I'm sorry, I found nothing related to him in any hospital. It's like every doc.u.ment related to him has been hidden or destroyed."
"If he has been doing regular checks then he must have a personal doctor, have you asking him?"
"That's what's surprising, Madam. That doctor turned out to be Dr. Galen."
Only now did Angelica show signs of shock, truly not expecting to hear Galen's name.
"That Dr. Galen? The world-famous doctor who died not too long ago?"
"Yes, Madam."
"I thought he was just a boy with no connections, how come they knew each other?"
"I tried digging deeper but, except for a few people in the hospital, no one knew about the relations.h.i.+p between Bin and Dr. Galen."
"…"
Angelica, lost in thought, forgot about the tea and the person behind her and kept staring at the sun, totally absent-minded.
"You may leave."
Surprisingly, the cloaked-figure didn't leave but hesitated for a few moments before saying
"Madam, may I be impolite for a second and speak of my opinion?"
Hearing this usually cold and secretive person talk like this, Angelica grew surprised. She nodded her head, indicating that the subordinate can speak her mind.
The cloaked female spent a few seconds to collect her thoughts before speaking:
"I think you should get rid of him."
Not fully understanding her words, Angelica asked:
"Get rid of him?"
"Yes, he has a mysterious past and a very strange body. Such a person will only bring harm to Miss Jasmine."
"Strange body? Elaborate."
"Yes, when Miss Jasmine went to the academy, he accompanied her and showed an unusual reaction to the dense Mana. His body seemed different than normal people, I suspect he purposely approached your family for a reason."
"Hmmmm"
Angelica pondered for a long time before saying
"It's too early to judge him. Continue your investigation and try to find the relation between him and Dr. Galen. Also, try to acquire his past medical records."
"Yes, Madam."
Just like she appeared, the cloaked woman turned into a puff of black smoke, quickly vanis.h.i.+ng from sight.

After sleeping for a few hours to relieve her mental and physical fatigue, Ann woke up only to feel a small headache due to overworking last night.
She drank a cup of water then glanced at the still unconscious Bin, who, despite being saved from death's clutch, is still not entirely healed. Since she was so busy last night, she didn't pay much attention to the black spots on his body but now she's going to fully a.n.a.lyze and inspect them.
Last time, when she checked his illness, he didn't remove his clothes so she was unable to see them but it's different now. The first stab hit his lower left part of his abdomen, exactly where his kidney is yet, strangely, not much blood gushed out of that wound.
First, she examined the blood, which was a bit different than normal people.
"It's contaminated… no, it's filled with Mana… is that even possible?"
Mana flows through a person's body but it never merged with blood, each one of them is a separate thing. Seeing this for herself made her not only confused but also shocked.
She stored the blood sample and started inspecting the black spots on his body. Only after several hours did she reach a conclusion, a conclusion that she didn't dare believe.
"The nervous system is dead in those black spots and it seems to be spreading… how can he move his hand if the nervous system doesn't do the work? Is he a zombie or what?"
The more she ran tests on Bin, the more illogical and ludicrous it became. It defied her medical knowledge and showed her things that shouldn't possibly exist.
