Ann didn't tell her about the illness but she did tell her that he wasn't out of danger yet so he needs immediate rest.
The silent atmosphere inside his master's car was not only awkward but also uncomfortable. He was laying on the backseat while glancing between Rika and Jasmine.
"There'll be a celebratory party in the academy tonight as the semester begins tomorrow. Normally, I would bring my servant but you need rest so you'll stay home."
Bin was about to refuse only for her to add:
"Don't worry, your pay will not be reduced so listen to your master and get some rest."
After thinking for a moment, Bin nodded his head and said
"Bring me to my apartment, then."
This got Jasmine's expression a bit fl.u.s.tered, she cleared her throat and said:
"Y-you'll rest at my house, my mom was going to bring Mina to a night tea session anyway."
The servant refused her offer while saying
"I only feel comfortable in my house."
Hearing this, Jasmine scoffed and loudly said:
"Comfortable? Really?! There's nothing but air in there! Don't try to lie to me!"
She glanced at Rika then continued
"Rika told me everything! You have nothing but a blanket and a cus.h.i.+on in there and they were also stolen."
Bin silently listened to her and only talked when she finished her part.
"I don't understand how my private life has anything to do with you."
She decided to ignore his remark while adding:
"Anyway… your apartment will have some renovation so stay at my house for a few days."
She knew that convincing him to live in the manor would be impossible so approached the matter from another side. Though she wasn't lying when she spoke of the renovation.
The rest of the way all of them maintained their silence and Bin used this time to take a short nap. Apparently, Jasmine was very busy and had to take care of a lot of things for tonight so she dropped him and left right away.
As he felt energetic and rejuvenated, Bin decided to go do a part-time job to earn a little bit more money. Fortunately, he managed to get his money back at a great cost but all that matters is that his effort from the past few months wasn't gone to waste.
The moment he left the manor and was about to go to the center of the city and work, he found Jasmine's sports car parked right in front of the gates.
She got off the car, glared at him and coldly asked:
"What are you doing?"
Bin acted nonchalantl and replied:

"Just taking a walk to freshen up…"
His lie was seen through immediately by Jasmine, who stomped her foot and berated:
"I told you to rest not walk around! You were going to work, right?"
"I'm not."
"You were!"
His face became a bit stiff as he shamelessly repeated the same words.
"I'm not."
Infuriated, Jasmine grabbed his arm and dumped him in the backseat before she drove off. He was oblivious to their destination but tagged along, not in the mood to argue with his master.
He's feeling relieved that he managed to live and got his money back, however, as Ann said, the drug is shortening his life so he has to earn more money. Sure, Jasmine is going to pay him handsomely but only for one month, two at most then he'll die.
He needs to find a family for Mina and organize everything before he's dead.
"I heard Joseph is coming to the party tonight. What do you think I should wear?"
Jasmine excitedly talked to the silent Rika, who hesitated for a moment before replying.
"He will like whatever you wear."
Jasmine giggled: "You think so?"
As if she remembered something, she said:
"Are you sure you don't want to go?"
Rika resolutely nodded her head and replied:
"I don't like parties."
…
Twenty minutes later, they arrived at the most famous clothing shop in the city. The manager personally welcomed the two girls and guided Jasmine to the VIP area. Obviously, Bin followed them and chose to keep his silence as his master was surprisingly docile too as she didn't pick a fight with him or try to make things hard for him.
Clearly, she was too preoccupied and excited about tonight's party and she was trying her best to pick the perfect dress. After he presented them with some hot tea, the manager brought carts full of expensive and pretty dresses and told her to take her time.
So, Jasmine started trying every single one of them and showing them to Rika, who would voice her opinion. As for Bin, he laid on the sofa and disinterestedly glanced at Jasmine whenever she appeared from within the changing room.
To be honest, Jasmine was a natural beauty, and coupled with those dresses, she looked like a fairy. There's no denying that she's a pretty girl, unfortunately, her character was rotten and she wasn't Bin's type or else things would have different, or so he thought.
