As he didn't care about their girly talk, Bin stood by the side, enjoying the view of the campus while sneaking glances at a few pa.s.sing girls which were beautiful, by his personal standard, of course.
After what seemed to be an eternity, the girls lifted their heads and looked at the lonely figure of Rika, who left the cla.s.s much later than they, for some unknown reason. They tried talking to her but she remained unresponsive and acted strangely, showing reluctance in going home or even leaving the cla.s.sroom.
The short-haired girl, her head hanging low, was listening to music through a large headset while ignoring everything around her, her expression that of an absent-minded person.
"Hey!"
Jasmine nudged Bin, her eyes showing worry for her friend.
"Yes?" He immediately responded, showing a smile suitable for a polite servant, or so he thought.
"Your task today is to follow Rika!"
Unlike the first time, it took him a few seconds to reply to his master.
"What?"
"Follow her!"
While pointing at Rika, who was getting farther away, Jasmine said again. Unfortunately, Bin didn't budge and, instead, frowned and retorted:
"You want me to stalk your friend?"
"No! Just follow her!"
"How is that different than stalking?"
Seeing that their conversation was going nowhere, Melissa b.u.t.ted in, her face lacking her normal kind smile.
"We're worried about Rika and are afraid something may happen to her. It would be best if someone follows her."
Bin's frown deepened, he crossed his arms and stated: "And that 'someone' is supposed to me? Since she is YOUR friend and you guys seem worried about her then why don't you stop her?"
"You…" Cara was about to curse him but held herself back and continued after taking a deep breath: "It's complicated and we need someone reliable."
'Reliable, huh…' Bin wanted to scoff at her words but ended up maintaining a deadpan face and an absolute silence.
"It's an order from your master!"
In the end, Bin let out a helpless sigh, turned around and left, heading toward Rika, who's almost out of view. Before he left, the three girls handed him a bunch of money bills and persistently told him to follow her wherever she goes.
The servant was more curious about their money rather than Rika. He wondered how these rich girls, who usually used credit cards, are in possession of so much cash. expertly, he quickly counted the money then sucked a deep breath, a bit surprised but excited. They handed him close to 300,000 Won and there's no way he'll spend all of it so Bin was obviously happy as he'll most likely keep the rest for himself.

Jasmine, Angelica's daughter, just returned home but she seemed to be in a bad mood so she skipped lunch and directly went to her room. The madam spoke a few words with her grumpy daughter then went back to her study. Mina was at the kindergarten so Angelica had nothing particular to do.
Theodore was taking care of some business related to his company which left her alone. Angelina entered her study and comfortably sat on the dark red leather chair then let out a long sigh as if she was troubled by something. A few seconds pa.s.sed before the air distorted and a cloaked figure appeared next to the wide desk.
While reading a few unimportant doc.u.ments, Angelica asked the motionless figure:
"Anything new?"
The response to her question was almost instantaneous. The cloaked person spoke with a feminine but toneless voice.
"He was one Dr. Galen few patients but the consultations were oddly secretive and kept out of record."
Angelica continued reading the doc.u.ments while also listening to the report of the cloaked individual.
"Also, I tried finding anything related to his family but there was literally nothing. There is also something weird."
"Weird? Speak."
"The orphanage he was in, its owner was killed. Even the children that were there either died or disappeared."
After a short silence, Angelica said: "They were killed?"
"Yes, most likely. Whoever the orphanage owner was, they did a good job at separating, making it very difficult for whoever was killing them to locate the rest. Also, from their pattern, it won't take long before they locate him and the little girl."
As she said that, Angelica's eye flashed with a cold glint. She put down the doc.u.ments, raised her head and gazed back at her subordinate before saying
"Then shall we find them before they find us?"

The cloaked female lightly bowed her head apologetically and said: "I already tried doing that but they're every thorough and secretive, I'm sorry."
Angelica wasn't angry, instead, she smiled and ordered:
"It's fine. Remain cautious and stealthily try to investigate them."
"Yes but madam…"
The subordinate hesitated for a second before continuing: "They are not normal. From what I managed to find, the members are all magic users and are very dangerous."
