Mr Ceo's Little Lover Chapter 160 - Doesn't Fall Into Temptation

Shen Ruyi looked at the scenery along the way. She s.h.i.+vered, even though the heater was on she still felt cold from standing in the rain for a long time. Liang Shao glanced at her and saw that she was s.h.i.+vering. He parked the car. Shen Ruyi turned to look at him in confusion. 'Why did he park the car?' Liang Shao removed his blazer and wrapped it around her.

Shen Ruyi looked at the blazer around her shoulder and looked up, their eyes met. Time seems to slow down at the moment, as they stared at each other. Shen Ruyi's heart skipped a beat when she saw how intense his stare was as if he wanted to devour her.

She blinked and looked away trying to hide the blush that was creeping on her face. Liang Shao smiled faintly when he saw her blus.h.i.+ng. 'Gosh, this girl is cute.' He thought as cleared his throat and started the car.

No one said anything, both of them were lost in their own thoughts, trying to explain the emotion they saw in each other's eyes. After a few minutes later, Liang Shao suddenly spoke, "That----" Liang Shao said.

"I----" Shen Ruyi and Liang Shao both spoke in unison. They glanced at each other as an awkward silence fell between them. "Ladies first." Liang Shao chuckled as he said. It was the only way he could think of to ease the embarra.s.sing moment.

"Oh, that I wanted to ask you if you know where I lived?" Shen Ruyi said as she looks at him. Liang Shao stiffened when he heard her. How can he forget to ask where she lives? Even though he knew where she stays, she will be suspicious if he drops her off without asking for her address.

Will she think that he is a creepy stalker? Even though he doesn't waned admit it there has been a couple of times that he has subconsciously followed her. That is how he knew where she stayed.

 After he followed her once and used the excuse of a big brother protecting his sister in shadows as an excuse, he found himself developing a habit of checking her whereabouts any time he got. He sorted out his emotions and replied, "that was what I was about to ask." Liang Shao said as he scratches his head.

"Oh." Shen Ruyyi said perfunctorily. "I will guide you then," Shen Ruyi said as she began giving directions to Liang Shao. After half an hour, they arrived at Shen Ruyi's apartment. Liang Shao doesn't know why a rich girl like Shen Ruyi wants to live alone by herself but he knew he has no right to ask this question…

"Thank you." Shen Ruyi said as she removes Liang Shao's blazer and handed it to him. "It is okay, you need it more than me, after all, it's still raining." Shen Ruuyi smiled softly as she said, "thank you." Just as Shen Ruyi reached her front door, the light went off. Liang Shao who was watching for her to enter the house frowned. 'It seems that the country is experiencing a blackout. Will she be okay?'

He got down from his car and walked toward her. Shen Ruyi felt like crying when the lights went off. How can her luck be this bad?! Her phone battery is dead and now there is a power cut. "Hey---" Shen Ruyi jumped in fright when she heard a voice behind her. "Relax. It's me." Liang Shao said as he looks at the woman who was now shaking in front of him.

He sighed as he removed his phone from his pocket. He then turned on the flashlight. "Are you okay? Let's get you inside it's cold." Liang Shao's voice woke her up from her stupor. "Huh? Oh ok." With the aid of Liang Shao's torch, she entered the code to her house. 

She awkwardly stared at Liang Shao. She didn't know whether she should invite him in or not. 'Wouldn't it be rude if I send him off? Also, he has a flashlight. Shen Ruyi, nothing will happen so stop thinking too much'.

 "That….yoou wanna come in for a cup of coffee?" Shen Ruyi said awkwardly. An unknown light flashed in Liang Shao's eyes. Wouldn't he be a fool if he rejects this offer? "Are you sure?" Liang Shao asked as he stared at her. "Yes, don't worry. Hurry up is still raining or we will catch a cold." Liang Shao said nothing as he followed her inside.

"Do you have a flashlight, candle or anything that we use?" he asked her the moment they entered the house. "Yes, I have lamps. That---can you wait here and give me your phone? I will go and bring them." Liang Shao gave her his phone with a second thought. A few minutes late she came back holding two rechargeable lamps.

"Here, thank you." Shen Ruyi said as she gave him his phone back. When she turned on the lamp. She saw he was wet. She frowned slightly. "Go and take a bath or you will catch a cold. I will wait for you." Liang Shao said. "But, you're also wet." Laing Shao smiled faintly. "Don't worry I will be fine. Just go."

When Shen Ruyi was about to enter her room, she came back. "There is a guest room at your left. You can take a bath there. The stuff inside is new and for men, since I prepared it for my cousin." Liang Shao raised his brows when he heard her. 

Who would have thought one day he would be taking a bath in the girl's bathroom that he has silently loved for years now. It never occurred in his wildest dream. "Thank you." He said faintly. Shen Ruyi smiled back as she went to her room.

She did not know whether she was stupid or bold to invite a man she is physically attracted to in her house when it is raining and there is a power outage. She hopes she doesn't fall into temptation tonight.
