Xia Xingcheng stared at the car in front of her. It was only a fist's distance away from her knees. If the driver had not braked in time she would have been knocked down by now.

"Are you looking to get killed?" shouted the driver, who stepped out of the car and walked towards her in rage.

She wasn't seeking out death. She was merely in a hurry and didn't look before she leaped. Xia Xingcheng swallowed and still was in a bit of panic but she squeezed a smile and apologized, "I'm so sorry; I didn't mean it; I was just…"

Meanwhile she turned her gaze to the inside of the car and saw a silhouette but failed to see his face. She then withdrew her gaze and said frankly to the driver, "I'd like to have a word with President Sheng."

"You're looking for President Sheng?" The driver frowned in a dilemma

"Yes, could you please inform him of me? Is it alright?" Xia Xingcheng looked at him as if begging.

"Well…" The driver was in a true dilemma because he knew his boss' temper and he wouldn't want to see her but he then recalled her seeking-death act just now and his heart was softened. "Wait a second. Let me ask Mr. Sheng."

Xia Xingcheng immediately smiled with joy. "Thank you, thank you…"

The driver took a glance at her, then turned around and walked to the door of the back seat. The window rolled down slowly with Sheng Yeting's handsome face emerging. "What's the matter?" There was a trace of displeasure in his low voice.

The driver lowered his head respectfully. "The lady said she wanted to talk to you."

Hearing this, Sheng Yeting lifted his eyelids slightly, ran his eyes coldly over at Xia Xingcheng, who was standing in front of the car, knitted his brows and then looked down at his watch. He still had clients to meet and he was already running late so how could he possibly talk to her? "Tell her I'm not free!" said he, without a trace of emotion in his voice, and then the car windows slowly went up.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Sheng said he is not available." The driver conveyed Sheng Yeting's meaning to Xia Xingcheng and got in the car directly.

'He's not available?' Xia Xingcheng frowned. 'I must talk to him or no one can possibly save Bao'er!"

The sound of the car starting up rang in her ears. Xia Xingcheng didn't even think about it but stopped in front of the car and shouted at the person inside. "President Sheng, please give me five minutes! I'll leave when I'm done talking! "

"President Sheng, what shall we do?" The driver turned to Sheng Yeting and asked him for advice.

Sheng Yeting looked at the woman who was in a panic; his sword-shaped brows turned up and there was a little displeasure in his gaze."This woman is so troublesome!"

The driver saw that Sheng was upset at it so he said instantly, "President Sheng, I'll get out and tell her to leave right away."

Then the driver hurried to open the door and get out; at the moment, Sheng Yeting's deep voice resonated in the car, "Let her in." Sheng Yeting stared at Xia Xingcheng closely, squinting his eyes and he would like to hear what on earth she was up to.

The driver was somewhat in a daze but he quickly recovered and got out of the car, relaying this to Xia Xingcheng. Xia Xingcheng heard the driver's words and looked up to the car. Unexpectedly her gaze met Sheng Yeting's deep eyes and her heart unconsciously missed a beat, and she quickly lowered her head and got on the car in a hurry.

Once she got into the car, Xia Xingcheng didn't waste a bit of time but asked him directly, "President Sheng, could you do me a favor? Bao has been hidden away by my dad and I really need you to help me find him and get him back."

Looking at the panic in her face, Sheng Yeting raised his brows, thinking that this woman was not polite to him at all. The moment she opened her mouth she was asking him for a favor!

Sheng Yeting felt rather offended somehow. He sneered and his disdain towards her was so obvious that he didn't need to voice it. "Why should I do you this favor?" He had helped her twice before, which was merely for the sake of the child, and was she really taking it as some kind of charity work?

Xia Xingcheng paused and couldn't think up an answer at that moment. She knew that her request was bold but she had no one to turn to and that's why she asked him for help. If she had a better choice, she wouldn't want to hit this snag, and he was the only person who could help her!

Thinking of this, she summoned up her courage, clenched her fists, and begged, "President Sheng, I beg you. Could you be so kind and help me? As long as, as long as... "

Hearing this, Xia Xingcheng raised her head in surprise and looked at his aloof profile. She knew that he was very popular with women in this city, but still she was surprised to hear this from his own mouth.
