Li Xiqing was not happy.

Did she just try to steal his wife? Shao Yan was his wife! His!

Li Xiqing was glaring at Qi Ling.

Qi Ling was challenging him back, while holding Shao Yan's shoulder, "Yan Yan, you've said it. You have to accompany me tomorrow."

Then Qi Ling threw a gloated look at Li Xiqing.

"Just forget about it. We will find another model. We don't need your help." and Li Xiqing was about to call Martin back.

Shao Yan took his phone away, "Li Xiqing!"

She frowned at him, "Don't be petty. Call Martin back now. Qi Ling will go!" She frowned at him and pushed his phone onto his palm.

Li Xiqing was upset. But he could only listen to Shao Yan and called Martin.

Qi Ling also called her manager to let her know about the new job. Even though it's only one time, Qi Ling still had to do everything properly by the rule of her modelling company.

Around noon time, Martin called them back and told them that K corporation would be ready to sign the contract with Qi Ling in the evening.

So Li Xiqing decided to just hang around at her place.

Qi Ling usually spent her Sat.u.r.day working on modelling jobs, but since she didn't have anything today, Qi Ling decided to go to the gym.

It's been a while since she worked out, Qi Ling felt that her body was no longer toned, so she was so excited to go today.

Qi Ling was trying to get Shao Yan to go with her, but Shao Yan refused. Shao Yan and Li Xiqing decided to stay home as Shao Yan needed to work for a while.

Qi Ling left the house while grumbling, something along the line of, "Ungrateful best friend, appreciate beautiful men more than sisters" something like that.

Shao Yan was speechless.

Shao Yan went back to her room to start working for a while. Li Xiqing followed her in. He started to look around and saw that she preferred a simple setup for her room. The only decoration she had was a row of succulent plants by the window.

Li Xiqing looked at her writing desk. Unlike other girls, she had no clutters, no picture frames, no colorful notes, no cutesy stuffs.

He frowned. Something was off. There was no details of her life here.

Shao Yan was sitting on her bed, with her legs crossed and she put her laptop on top of her lap. She was fully concentrating on typing her emails.

Li Xiqing sat next to her, leaning back onto the headboard while navigating the TV remote. He was looking for news channel to watch while he accompanied her working.

His right hand was playing with the TV remote, while his left hand unconsciously was playing with her hair.

"How long more will you be staying in Gold Crane?" she suddenly asked.

Li Xiqing turned to the side and looked at her.

"We will leave after the anniversary celebration." he was still playing with her hair tips.

"The celebration will also serve as an official send off party from Gold Crane to AG International."

His hand traveled to her lower back, "Sometime next month, I will bring you to see our new office. We have started to hire more people in the past few weeks. We also hired some people back when we were at city B."

He stroked her back, while saying, "Soon AG International China office will be fully operational." he said proudly.

Shao Yan pondered for a while. And then she said, "But you will be left alone here. Martin will have to go back to j.a.pan, and Karl has to go back to New York."

Li Xiqing smiled, "We have always been working this way. Don't worry, it's going to be just fine." and then he winked at her, "It's only adding one more country to it, no big deal."

Shao Yan rolled her eyes. This guy arrogant att.i.tude was sometimes charming, but a lot of times, hateful!

He laughed and then scooted over closer to her, hugging her waist.

"Then, if you're really worried, come over to AG International and help me." he said in a seductive tone, "I can a.s.sure you the pay, the benefit, and the bonus will be more than what you can think of."

Shao Yan couldn't help to think about the kiss from yesterday. Her face gradually heated up. She slapped his arm and pushed him away.

"Stop fooling around. I'm really busy here."

He was still laughing. Li Xiqing didn't move away, he stayed close to her now with his other arm still hugging around her waist. He went back to watch the news channel.

After a while, he could feel Shao Yan was stretching, he turned to her. "Are you done?"

She closed the laptop and put it on the bedside table. "For now. I hope Mr. w.a.n.g can really be with Miss Sea soon! So he will be occupied with Miss Sea on the weekend instead of sending emails to me." she grumbled.

She moved over into his arms, both snuggled close watching the TV. Li Xiqing had his arm wrapped around her.

His cheek was on top of her head. Sometimes Li Xiqing would delivered small kisses to her forehead. Or to her hair. His fingers would play with her fingers.

Her natural fragrance was already so intoxicating. And now he was in her room. Her fragrance dominated all of his senses.

He turned off the TV, and then he looked at her. Before suddenly he pushed her down to the bed, and just stayed on top of her, looking at her face.

Shao Yan was smiling shyly, "What are you looking at!" she tried to hide her face away, but his face slowly bend down to her and kiss her forehead softly.

Both of his hands, next to her head on the side, were propping him up

Li Xiqing moved to kiss her eyelid, and then her nose tip.

He moved really slow. Taking in all of her reactions.

He lightly brushed his lips to the corner of her mouth, and then he kissed her.

Her hands were clutching onto his s.h.i.+rt while kissing him back.

Shao Yan could feel him trying to put a little distance between his lower body and hers. Trying to not suffocate her.

They kissed slowly this time. Enjoying and tasting each other. Savoring every touch.

After a while, he trailed his kisses to her cheek and then down to her chin, and then started to go downwards.
