Chapter 143. Shooting starts!!

"Action!! Start!!"

"We are here on the sets of the most antic.i.p.ated movie of the year, «A born star». It is a project directed by a rookie director who is just starting her career, Director Ying Yue. We are here with one of the actors in the movie, Mr. Bao Mo."

A reporter said as he read the opening sequence of their short news segment.

Their crew was from a entertainment program and they were here to shot a segment for it.

They were interviewing a theatre actor who was playing a role in the movie.

"h.e.l.lo, everyone! My name is Bao Mo and I am making my debut with «A born star». It's nice to meet you all"

The actor was a handsome man with brown hair and blue eyes. His traits were extremely attractive to the viewers.

"Can you tell me about your role in the movie?"

"Mr role is of a music producer in the movie."

"Can you tell us more about it?"

"Sorry, I can't told you more, you have to watch the movie to know more about it."

He slowly refused that question as he was not an idiot and he knew what could be said and what not.

The reporter continued to ask the questions.

"So, you were just a theatre actor before this, right? Can you tell me about how you got the role?"

"Yes, I was a theatre actor before this and I was scouted by the casting director of the project. After that, I did an audition and that's how I got the role."

He was really natural in giving the answers. It can be shown that he was excited while giving the answers and there was a constant smile on his face.

"So, what do you want to say about the movie and the other actors?"

"I feel that the movie would be a big hit and people will like it because everyone is truly working hard on it. The other senior actors has really helped me a lot during the script reading sessions."

Like that, he continued to answer for about five minutes.

The reporter ceased his face slightly when he saw that. He felt that his words were getting more boring and the viewers.

Bao Mo was still not a big star, so he knew that people were not much interested in his interview.

That's why, he ended it early.

"Thank you, Mr. Bao Mo for giving us your time."

"I thought the interview would go on for more."

"No, actually we wanted to talk to other people."

"Is that so?"

Bao Mo left after that.

The reporter sighed after that. He stared at his surroundings but he only founded theatre or unknown actors and staffs.

"What happened?"

The producer asked him.

"I think we should look for other well known actors. Public would not like the interviews of unknown actors much."

"I know that but it's our luck that we were even able to get to shoot here and you know already, there are mostly theatre actors in this movie."

"I wonder why they are only using lesser known actors?"

The reporter asked and the producer answered.

"It's probably to make the cost in check or I think it can be because of their reality show, Movie making. They can use the theatre actors to get some views."

"Yes, but what will we do now?"

"Why don't we ask the director for an interview? If it's the director, public would be interested."

An a.s.sistant producer said as he pointed to Ying Yue who was talking with the audio director.

"No, I don't think she would be able to give an interview."

The producer shook his head as he said that.

"Why?"

The reporter asked. The a.s.sistant producer was also looking at him, wanting to hear the reason.

"Look carefully at her!"

The producer pointed at Ying Yue and the reporter and a.s.sistant producer stared at her.

"She has dark circles under her eyes!"

The reporter said and the a.s.sistant producer nodded his head.

They both stared closely at the dark circles under the eyes of Ying Yue.

"Yes, you can clearly see that she has not slept for a long time. I have heard that she's working day and night on the movie, it's to the point that the production house is worried that there would be a news about her collapsing."

"If she is that much tired, how the h.e.l.l is she working?"

The reporter asked with ceased brows.

"I don't know. Maybe, she is on IVs or something but she is working anyway. That's why, we were warned to not disturb her."

"Producer, why is she working this hard?"

The a.s.sistant producer asked as he wondered about it.

"Think about it carefully, «A born star» is the most highly antic.i.p.ated movie this year and she is just a rookie director. Think about how much pressure she would be in."

The reporter and the a.s.sistant producer both nodded at his words.

The producer continued.

"People are even saying that Xin Ren is taking a huge risk working in the movie and there is all sorts of rumours around it."

"But people are highly antic.i.p.ating the project. I don't think it would be a flop. It would be average at the least."

"You are right but do you really think that with the marketing and the reality TV show, if they only did average business, people and media win leave them alone."

"Huh!?"

"If they didn't aim for the best and didn't got the best result, they would be in trouble especially Xin Ren, he only has successful projects in his career, it would be a big blow for him."

"So, you mean that Director Ying is working hard because she can't afford to get average results."

The producer nodded and replied.

"Yes, she can't afford to lose. If she did, then…."

The producer didn't continued his words and the reporter and the a.s.sistant producer has already understood the situation.

They both knew that although it's the first project for Ying Yue, it can very well be her last too.

That's why, she can't afford to rest!
