'I only have a few minutes before they could find my scheme…' He thought as he carefully sneaked to the manor's backyard.

'If I remember correctly, the prison cell was on the east side of the manor's yard.' Although he could recall how he was tormented by them, he's uncertain about the exact location of the prison since he was unconscious the time he was abducted.

Well, Kim s.h.i.+n had discovered this location when he was saved by a group of high-level humans; who raid the entire village. And the whole village was already ruined at the time.

Cautiously inspecting his surroundings, he could occasionally hear the rapid footsteps of the people outside the manor.

'Haha, stress and exhaust yourselves, yggdramereans. So, I could slay some of you before I left this village!'

Village Chief's Manor had a wide s.p.a.cious backyard, with a 500 square meters, it would not be mistaken to be a mansion.

While looking around as he gently walked on the paving cobblestone, he suddenly heard a different sound, as if he stepped on a wooden material instead of hard stone.

To make it clear, he gently stomped his foot on the ground where he's standing on.

'Found ya!' Kim s.h.i.+n was delighted to found the hidden entrance to the underground prison. Bending down, he carefully touched and examined the ground as he discovered that these cobblestones around him were actually dyed and made of wood material.

Narrowing his eyes as he continued to inspect the ground, his dark-blue suddenly landed at the conspicuous stone beside him which had almost precise measurements, as if it somewhat not belong here.

Without a word, he reached his hand to that single stone, and as his palm landed on it, a faint azure light suddenly shone, followed by a small magic circle as the ground began to tremble.

's.h.i.+t, what's happening?!' He wondered in confusion as he slowly backed up.

And after a few seconds, the light eventually died down as the cobblestones began to open up, causing a creaking sound, as if it had been locked for ages.

An underground hole appeared before him, which had a size that a single adult man could enter. Looking ahead, he found a deep staircase, going down to the dimly lit area.

Looking around, Kim s.h.i.+n heaved a sighed of relieved, 'Fortunately, no one seems to notice the light.'

Hence, he unhesitatingly stepped inside as his footsteps caused a faint echo sound. Continue walking, he discovered that the staircase was spiral when suddenly, a faint sound occurred which stopped him from moving as he looked upward.

'Automatic locked huh?'

After a couple of minutes of walking, he finally reached the narrow hallway of the underground prison which had a width of 1.5 meters and dimly lit by torches that are lively flickering on the gray-ashen stone wall.

"I hope you're here because I'm dying to see you…" He muttered under his breath as he subconsciously leaked his killing intent.

Knitting his eyebrows, he cautiously walked towards the end of the hall when he suddenly heard an agonizing cry, as if that person is on the verge of dying.

"Ughhhhh!"

"HAHA! More! Show me more of that reaction, Hehehe!"

A raucous voice of a man filled the surroundings as it laughed hysterically, it seems like he really enjoys whatever he's currently doing.

As if that unpleasantly loud and harsh voice was a trigger, Kim s.h.i.+n's killing intent soared as he smiled like a villain.

'Haha, blame the heaven that you made me your enemy!'

With these thoughts, he began to rush towards the end of the hall, and what he discovered is a scene of a scrawny paled wrinkled old man in a pegreen cape, beating a half-dead person that tied with steel shackles connected to the wall, using his dark and thick whip.

Beside the half-dead person were five more humans, who have a number of bruises and wounds on their entire body. All of them are male, age from teenager to prime of their lives.

"Zaharias…" Kim s.h.i.+n mumbled as he glared at the old man, with a sharp look as if he want to kill. He won't be able to forget that man's face, even though he only could see the man's back.

This man beat them without mercy as if he considered them as his thing.

The moment he reached the wide, dirty, and stinky prison cell, those captured humans raised their heads and looked towards him. However, it didn't took long before they lowered their heads once again. Seems like they thought Kim s.h.i.+n as the same of them, captured by Yggdramereans.

Although it was for a second, Kim s.h.i.+n saw in their spiritless eyes, that they already lost hope, lost the confidence to fight for their freedom. Nevertheless, no one can blame them, since Kim s.h.i.+n also experienced what they suffered through. The feeling of begging for death (?) He couldn't forget that even if he wanted to.

Seeing the actions of the captured humans, Zaharias slowly turned around and immediately discovered Kim s.h.i.+n, who's glaring at him.

Slightly frowning, he couldn't help to asked himself, "A new test subject?"

However, he quickly denied that thought after he found out that Kim s.h.i.+n doesn't have any bind on his body.

"Who are you? How did you found this place?!" Zaharias asked in confusion. He wondered how this human able to found this hidden place.'What's happening up there?'

"I'm your Grim Reaper. I'm here to send you to your destination, to h.e.l.l!" Kim s.h.i.+n boldly answered as he kept glaring at Zaharias.

Hearing Kim s.h.i.+n's answer, Zaharias was speechless for a moment before laughing so hard.

"HAHA! You're funny. With your equipments like that? It's obvious that you're a newbie." He continued laughing as he pointed his right-hand's index finger at Kim s.h.i.+n's equipment.

Amidst of Zaharias laughing, a rugged and soft voice of a man rang behind him. "R-Run... Don't try to fight him, don't underestimate his frail appearance, he's a demon."

As he heard the man's words, Zaharias immediately turned around to face the dying man, as he couldn't help to narrowed his eyes and bellowed. "Shut up! Why don't you worry about your situation first?"

After saying that, the furious Zaharias hurriedly raised his thick whip, and about to lash it down towards the dying man's face. However, before his whip could land on the man's face, a sudden flashed hit and stopped the movement of his whip, which shocked him and the man that was about to hit.

Whatever the thing that stopped his whip, it's on the ground now. Slowly lowering his head, he discovered an unadorned iron dagger beside his right foot.

"You won't be able to hurt anyone here in my presence!" Kim s.h.i.+n's voice filled the room, feeling proud at his action.

'I didn't expect to hit it accurately. Haha.' He thought in amazement. Earlier, he found that there's a number of dagger in his inventory, which he got from the killer's tower partic.i.p.ants he killed. Then, before he decided to infiltrate the village, he added a dagger to his shortcut, preparing himself thoroughly. Having a hidden weapon to attack in the middle of battle could save his life.

Although, he was a swordsman in his first life, he also took the basic throwing daggers cla.s.s before. However, he hasn't practiced his skill in throwing dagger for years. So, he was a little surprised that he accurately hit Zaharias's whip.

"Unforgivable..." Zaharias muttered under his breath as he unhurriedly turned around, facing Kim s.h.i.+n. "Insolent!"

"Presumptuous! You dare to stop me? You filthy human!" Zaharias bellowed, angered by Kim s.h.i.+n's action.

"Hmph!"

Hearing Zaharias's ludicrous words, Kim s.h.i.+n reminds him about those Yggdramereans who thought highly of themselves and looked down at the humans. Just because they are the first species with the most populations and power in the Yggdrasil, they thought it was appropriate to looked down the entire human race. Not just Yggdramereans, some of the powerful and corrupted human belittle their kin as if they are the G.o.d himself.

"No, please, young man. Leave us, worry about yourself." The man who was about to get lashed by Zaharias spoke once again, hoping Kim s.h.i.+n to leave and save himself.

"HAHAHA!" Hearing the man's words, Zaharias suddenly laughed once again.

"Hihihi. As if he could escape? The door to the outside was already locked unless someone opened the door from outside or he managed the got the key from me which is impossible."

Kim s.h.i.+n subconsciously knitted his eyebrows when he heard Zaharias's confession. However, it didn't take that long before his eyebrows eased.

"Then, I'm going to get it personally from you." He calmly stated as he grinned, infuriating Zaharias.

"FOOL!" Zaharias commented loudly as he forcefully stretched his dark, thick whip, causing a faint cracking sound.

Seeing this, Kim s.h.i.+n leisurely unsheathed his constellations devourer sword, before he positioned it over his right shoulder, with a posture of about to thrust.

'It's time for revenge!'
