Sherry opened her eyes because of the noise and the flashes of cameras around her.
The first thing she saw was Marcel's chest and then noticed the fans that had started surrounding them as they shouted for her name. She was stunned into speechlessness when she could finally process what was happening around her.
She redirected her gaze towards Marcel but even if she asked him to put her down he wouldn't be able to hear her. Sherry clenched the hand that rested on his chest slightly tugging on the material of his hoodie.

Marcel looked down and at that brief moment, their eyes met. Marcel indicated for her to close her eyes by shutting his and Sherry closed her own immediately.
Marcel could already imagine what was happening online and how the situation could be manipulated in those short minutes that they took to walk to the van.
The road manager quickly slid the door open and Marcel got into the van still holding Sherry. A few minutes later the manager came in the van as well while looking completely dishevelled.
"Didn't you know that they would be out there?" Marcel asked while breathing deeply. Sherry had managed to fall asleep again in those few minutes so he didn't bother her.
"It slipped my mind," the manager said and wiped the sweat from his face. He still couldn't get used to how fans mob around artists.
"You should go to the hospital and get her an IV or something. If you go home immediately there'll be a lot the paparazzi will exploit". Marcell advised.
After the manager thought about it, if they did go to the hospital they could just say she was not feeling well and there won't be too many repercussions compared to if they just went home.
"Mmh, Mr Matteo wanted to talk to you," Sherry's manager said, remembering why he had gone to the practice room in the first place.
"I'll go see him," Marcel said and settled Sherry in the seat before he opened the door of the van and hopped out.
The van was still surrounded by fans so he was crowded once more when he got out.
The van slowly forced it's way through the fans because if they waited they would never leave.
Marcel did not even bother to navigate himself through the swarm of people and instead, stood in place without moving.
Once the van had managed to safely leave it sped away leaving Marcel as the centre of attention. He didn't say anything and stood there with his hands in his pocket and waited until when they all would become quiet.
He honestly expected that the majority of the fans that would be there would be male but the majority were actually female. Once the crowd was quiet he smiled charmingly his eyes slightly crinkling and the small dimples at the bottom of the corner of his lips made an appearance.
"Will you let me pa.s.s through?" Marcel asked as he raised an eyebrow. The people who were directly blocking his way slightly moved to the side creating some s.p.a.ce.
"Thank you," Marcel said and walked through the crowd. He walked past them and went back to the building as if it was a dream. Most of the fans were still dazed even after he disappeared through the doors of the building.
"What did I just see?" one of the girls asked her friend who was as confused as she was.
"Is he a celebrity?" another one asked.
"He didn't look like one. They wouldn't let him go around dressed so simply" someone else chimed in.
"Did you get a picture?" the girl who was talking to her friend asked as she turned to look at her. Her friend shook her head to show that she hadn't gotten a picture. She was too distracted by what was in front of her to actually take a video.
"Why did you even bring a camera?" her friend scolded but the girl didn't even get annoyed because even she felt regretful for not taking a picture.
"I took a video," a voice said in the crowd.
"Send it to me!" the crowd chorused startling the girl.

Meanwhile, Marcel was seated across Damien who was looking at him carefully. Marcel couldn't stand it after a few minutes. It was uncomfortable to be stared at so intensely by such a handsome man.
"Is there something on my face?" Marcel asked to fill the deafening silence in the office. Damien smiled in amus.e.m.e.nt at his question and leaned forward on his large desk. Although there was quite some distance between them, Marcel unconsciously leaned back on his chair.
[I think so] Avian replied and Marcel looked at Damien with newfound respect. "Do you have a place to stay?" Damien asked Marcel. He remembered that he had about two days left, which meant that he would be leaving the orphanage on the day after tomorrow. "I haven't found a place yet," Marcel said honestly. He was actually thinking of asking Paul to take him in for a few days until he found his own place. "There are apartment buildings in partners.h.i.+p with us. Would you mind if I arrange accommodations for you there or do you already have a place in mind?" Damien asked. "Is this normal?" Marcel asked in confusion. "It isn't, but it's not like you have a home right?" Damien said. Actually, when Damien had dropped him off the previous day he had been really surprised that he was an orphan, so he had honestly wanted to help him at least in his transition into being an independent adult. Marcel kept quiet for a bit and thought about what Damien was offering. When he looked back up, his gaze was filled with resolve. "I don't want to be a charity case, so I'll pay the rent for the place," Marcel said and Damien nodded in understanding. "I also need your help with something," Marcel said after some deliberation. "What is it?" Damien asked curiously. "I have a little brother at the orphanage that I want to take with me," Marcel said nervously. "Since you're of legal age, it shouldn't be too difficult to have him transferred into your care once you can prove that you have a stable income," Damien said after thinking for a bit. "That's the problem. We aren't biological brothers, but I've taken care of him since he was an infant" Marcel said nervously. "Then that could be a bit difficult," Damien said and tapped his pen on his desk rhythmically. "I would really appreciate it if you could help me with this. I don't know who else I can turn to for this kind of favour. I don't want him to be subjected to the things that I went through at his age. I've been able to protect him while I was there, but I don't want to imagine what will happen to him in my absence" Marcel said and felt his eyes sting when he thought of that brown-eyed cute child. Even though the perverted headmaster had left, the one that was there now was the one that had pushed the previous Marcel to his death.
