"I won't make any promises. But I'll consult my lawyers and see what can be done" Damien said after thinking about it. It was not hard to get the kid out of the orphanage, Damien wanted to know that Marcel would be able to take care of him once he was under his care. Children aren't pets after all.
"I would really appreciate it," Marcel said his face transforming into one of happiness,
He really wanted to call Damien big brother even though he was technically younger than him. Unfortunately, he was his boss, and his senior in the industry and they just met the previous day. He couldn't be as audacious with him as he was with Paul.
"Mmh, I'll have them prepare the place tomorrow and you can sign the contract before moving in," Damien said putting his gla.s.ses on. Marcel took that as a cue that he was being dismissed and said his goodbyes before leaving the large office.
What is Liam doing now?> Marcel asked Avian.
[He is doing his homework in his room] Avian answered.
Marcel could already imagine Liam bent over the desk while concentrating on his homework. That image was just too cute so he quickly left the building. Fortunately, the fans from before had already left since it had started getting late so Marcel was able to leave comfortably.
On his way to the bus stop, he pa.s.sed by a bakery and after some hesitation, he went in and bought a small chocolate cake. He hadn't tasted cake since he arrived, even though he loved sweets a bit too much in the past.
Marcel got to the bus stop and didn't have to wait for too long before his bus arrived. Marcel got in and went to the back seat and settled himself there. The bus didn't have a lot of people inside which allowed him to travel more comfortably.

[It won't be easy to do it personally, you'll either have to enrol him into daycare or find him a Nanny since you won't be able to take care of him when you have a job] [You don't have fixed working hours so that would make it complicated. These will be things that you will have to pay for at the end of the day. As long as you can afford it, it won't be impossible] Avian said. Marcel thought for a bit and typed in the search engine of his phone. {How to make money fast}. Avian speechlessly watched Marcel act like an idiot. He went to the search engine while Avian had enough knowledge to span over 300 different worlds over a millennium. Avian was not impressed at all and ended up scoffing at Marcel. [Maybe you could try sending your bank details to Sherry's manager first, don't you think?] Avian reminded sarcastically. Marcel's eyes lit up as if he was the one who remembered. The problem was, Marcel had never needed to handle the small details of the contracts, they would all be handled by either his manager or his a.s.sistant. So, he easily forgot about such details. Marcel quickly texted his bank details to Sherry's manager and just as he sent it, Avian reminded him that his stop was close. Marcel put up his hoodie and got off the bus at his stop. As he was walking back to the orphanage, Avian was lecturing him on the importance of the project he was doing with Sherry. He kept insisting that if he did a good job, it would probably his once in a lifetime chance to get elevated into fame rather than go through the painful journey his predecessors had to experience. It did not take long for Marcel to finally arrive at the orphanage, and fortunately, he arrived just in time for dinner. He looked for Liam's little head in the crowd and saw that he was standing at the side waiting for everyone else to get their food. Marcel walked to him and knelt in front of the boy while ruffling his hair. Liam smiled brightly the two-deep dimples appearing on his cheeks. Marcel felt like crying when he saw them, how ruthlessly cute was Liam? "Have you eaten?" Marcel asked while trying to calm himself down. "No" Liam answered as he shook his head. "Let's go get some food," Marcel said and held his hand with one of his hand and carried the box he had brought with his free hand. It did not take long for them to get to their food and soon they were sitting next to each other at the table eating their dinner. "Big brother, what is that?" Liam asked as he pointed at the white box that Marcel had set on the table. "It's a present I bought for you. We'll open it later" Marcel said and ruffled the boy's hair. When Liam heard it was a present he was happy and sad at the same time. He figured that the rumours he had been hearing were true. His brother was going to leave soon and he was going to be left on his own. He suddenly lost his appet.i.te and put his fork down. He leaned forward slightly to hide his face as he was trying to blink back his tears. He did not want to be left alone at the orphanage without his brother, but he did not have the courage to ask him to stay, or to him with him. Marcel noticed that Liam had stopped eating and turned to look at him in concern, just in time to catch a teardrop fall on the table. Marcel immediately panicked. Why was his baby crying? "Liam, what's wrong?" Marcel asked as he easily lifted Liam from his seat and sat him on his lap. What he did not expect was that his question would cause the boy to bury his face in his chest and proceed to soak his clothes with his tears. Marcel was completely speechless at the sudden change in Liam's mood, but he did not forget to comfort the boy.
Marcel paused as he was reading through the different websites as if he suddenly remembered Avian's existence.
