Chapter 1: Rebirth (Part 2)

 "…" Gu Yuanyuan was speechless.

Oh no, the big cat really wanted to eat her.

Gu Yuanyaun's forehead started sweating bullets due to her nervousness. She did not even dare to move a single inch, for she was certain that as soon as she moves, this big cat would immediately pounce on her. Unknowingly, she felt regretful that it's not been too long since she transmigrated here, when all of a sudden, a big cat came and would soon tear her limbs apart into pieces.

"Moreover, looked at you, you're already so robust and powerful. If you eat me, I'm sure that I'm not enough to satiate your hunger so, how about this: First, let's stop this animosity between us, then we both go on back on each of our homes and, look for our mother to feed us till full. Sounds great, right?"

Answering to GuYuanyuan's proposal, the tiger opened its mouth widely and showed her its cold razor-sharp teeth. While at the same time, its front paws started digging into the ground from the strong force it's emitting.

"…" Gu Yuanyuan instantly closed her mouth shut.

"Hahahaha!"

At this moment, she suddenly overheard a burst of shrill laughter that came from a female's voice.

"Had her brain's been broken to the point that she actually talked to Xiao Hui, hoping that Xiao Hui would understand her? Oh, it's very laughable."

Simultaneously, a piercing whistle could be heard not far from their positions. The ferocious tiger suddenly lost its aggressiveness upon hearing the familiar call. 

"Go back." Followed by a deeper male voice without a hint of emotion and indifferent like a robot.

As if obeying his command, the tiger roared loudly, retreated back and disappeared into the forest.

 "Third Master, how did can you let Xiao Hui go back?" When she saw the tiger leave, the female voice started grumbling in protest.

"This woman had always disobeyed and hurt you. She didn't even care for you, so she should be taught some lessons to let her know how good you are."

Gu Yuanyuan didn't speak a word and just observed the situation.

 "Then, what do you think should be done?" The man's voice was still indifferent and cold.

 "We should just let Xiao Hui pounced her up and bit her twice, so she would learn her lesson and would be too scared to disobey you."

 "Are you not afraid that it would bite her to death?"

"How could that be? Third Master was here so, Xiao Hui would not bite her to death. At most, he would just bite her halfway and, that would be enough." The woman said in a quibbling voice.

Meanwhile, without speaking a word, Gu Yuanyuan took two steps forward and glanced around. She looked up and saw the person who just spoke.

She saw a man and a woman, somehow near her location. With the woman's beautiful face together with her s.e.xy body, cuddling the man on her side, she could tell that there's something between them.

The man who's wearing a coat had a handsome visage, and yet his eyes were frosty cold. When he heard the woman's words, the corners of his lips suddenly crooked up with a cold and evil hint.

Calling this person with 'Third Master' in this manner, aside from the big villain Lu Wenchen, who else could it be?

According to the novel, Lu Wenchen's family was established from a Taoist School. In his daily life, he always acted with savagery and ruthlessness, relying both on his ability and his prestigious family background. In the original book, Lu Wenchen threw Gu Yuanyuan into the remote valley as a punishment to her refusal and, by doing so, he wanted her to be too frightened to disobey him again and would be willing to submit to him. At that time, Gu Yuanyuan was quietly disposed of.

"Gu Yuanyuan, you already saw the Third Master, and yet, you still didn't show your respect! Looked at your att.i.tude, do you really think yourself as some distinguished individual or something?" The woman said as she ridiculed and taunted Gu Yuanyuan.

Using her clear eyes, Gu Yuanyuan glanced at the talking woman. Based on the book, she should be Lu Wenchen's female partner-in-crime, Yang Yufei, one of the women on the former's harem. Ever since Gu Yuanyuan's first arrival as a captive of Lu Wenchen, Yang Yufei was always seethed with jealousy as the attention of Lu Wenchen that should be given to her, suddenly all s.h.i.+fted to Gu Yuanyuan. Thus, Yang Yufei's pent-up rage and resentment all targeted towards Gu Yuanyuan.

As for how these targets aimed at her, Gu Yuanyuan now finally understood.

This provocative ability of 'adding fuel to the open fire' was certainly a perfect skill to eliminate her. It could be described as, by borrowing Lu Wenchen's hand, she could then, free herself from the burden of killing Gu Yuanyuan with her own hands. She was this anxious to get rid of her.
